... Some of these are driving me crazy.

Level 3 - Sound Burst
Range - 25ft+5ft/2lvl
# Targets - all in 10ft radius

Level 9 - Sunburst
Range - 400ft+40ft/lvl

Range: The distance in which a spell can be cast. Like firing a bow from ninety feet away. As long as the caster is within *points to Sunburst* 400ft of the target, they can cast the spell.

Target: The area/person affected by the spell. A bow can only have one target but a lot of spells can have multiple. Using Sunburst again, the spell effects everything in an 80 ft radius... So make sure you cast it at least 81 ft away from you and your allies!


Here's another example. Let's say Ri, Singh, Altaira and Tah are fighting. Ri want's to use Soundburst

Level 3 - Sound Burst
Range - 25ft+5ft/2lvl
# Targets - all in 10ft radius

She's a level 7 so the range that she can cast the spell at is 40ft [25+5(3); Round down for odd levels]. Singh is standing 6 feet away from Tah, Altaira is standing 11 ft away from Tah, and Sashiri is standing 35 ft away from Tah (in a straight line to keep it simple).

If Sashiri cast the spell on Tah, it would also affect anyone within 10 feet of him. So Tah and Singh would get hit, but not Altaira.

BUT! If Sashiri was 50 feet away from Tah, she couldn't cast the spell on him because her range is only 40 ft. The center of the spell must always target a person/monster though (at least in battle purpose).

Niiice.... 8D *adores Sashiri* It's sad that she's being punished for something they started, but at least she's a full mage, right? O: *wonders how much of that first part she should pattern onto Yuki's class change for consistency*

Umm......... Well, the book thing definitely, and they do all get an empty 'sitting room' and a bedroom and bath and... you're not a full mage until you do your first spell and... that's about it.
