Fred bowed in response, and was all set to dodge as soon as the match began. The starting call came and he was already moving sideways, feeling the force of the other one's stick slice past him, missing by a slim margin. He used his momentum and twirled with his arm outstretched, all set to deck the other with his stick.

Yuki heard a thud behind him and slowed down before turning, finding his opponent on the ground. He was pretty sure he didn't hit him... did he? The referee of the fight made a continue sign and Yuki sped towards the fallen foe, swinging his stick just as they managed to get up.

Fred missed so badly he twisted and fell to the ground. He grunted softly as he worked on getting back up, only to flatten himself to the ground as a stick swept by overhead. He hauled himself to his feet, swinging out and up with his stick as he did.

Fred somehow managed to trip on his last attack and did a face-plant into the dirt instead of getting a hit. He got himself back up and was shaking the dirt off his face and out of his eyes when he felt an even greater sting then before. He roared at the retreating Yuki and charged after, swinging his stick around in the air before bringing it down towards Yuki's back.
