HistoryAnnabelle was born the youngest of 4 to the rich Lee family. Her father has ten brothers, all of whom own their own business. But strangely, in Death City, they own many graveyards. Anna's father was one of those brothers so the young Lee was raised around the dead. She found great joy in running through the grass, being mindful of the bodies underneath. She said death was just the next step and as a graveyard owner they were responsible for the person's last trip.
This idea grew as she got older to the point she even started dressing up as the grim reaper. Her siblings thought she was very weird and sometimes would lock her in a mausoleum. Not that she minded, at least until she got hungry. But death never frightened her, it merely intrigued her.
Finally the Lee family bought a new graveyard which was connected to the Van de Burg funeral home. Thus she met the strange boy named Wendell who would one day become her technician.
