User Image
Name: Elizabeth Leisel Spelling
House: Slytherin
Year: 1st year
Birthday: November 23rd [Sagittarius/Scorpio Cusp]
Model: Unknown: found on another HP roleplaying site; I stole it. Hehehe.
Color: Pink

User Image Name: Devereux Lyndon Harrison
House: Slytherin
Year: 1st year
Birthday: January 12th [Capricorn]
Connections: None, yet.
Model: Moises Arias
A Taste of Personality: Doesn’t take immaturity well and rarely ever smiles or even seems happy in the least, Dev was never once known to even act childish in his life. He keeps his share of secrets and hates even the word “sharing”. He’s selfish, controlling, possessive, and depressive. Not a nice 11 year old.
A Bit of Background: Dev came from a rather boring pureblood family, wealthy, but not to an extreme extent. They're not going to be surprised when he's sorted into Slytherin.

hufflepuff

User Image Name: Reagan Laila Overfield
House: Hufflepuff
Year: 3rd year
Birthday: June 13th [Gemini]
Connections: Little sister of Carson Overfield. HUGE crush on Quinton Zsarcaspian, and also Elvis McKay. Good friend of Leigh Guidry. Strays away from Alanis Jensen.
Model: Victoria Justice
A Taste of Personality: Reagan is like the sweet, yet terribly annoying little sister that follows you around, but you can’t help but to like her for her kind nature. She’s a girly girl, and loves to dress up, and has a big interest in arts and acting. She tries to treat everyone as equals, but can talk an awful lot. But one can get past that with her cheery attitude toward, well, everything.
A Bit of Background: Her mother is a muggle and her father is a wizard. After being married, Janice and Kenneth Overfield had a son 4 year later, and then three years later had Reagan. Janice found out about her husband’s and children’s magical capabilities when Carson got his letter to Hogwarts. She understood, but her parents haven’t been on good terms since. Reagan refuses to agree with her brother‘s outcome, but can‘t completely argue about it.

hufflepuff

User Image Name: Leonardo Elliot Dawson
House: Hufflepuff
Year: 4th year
Birthday: August 15th [Leo, ironically]
Connections: Basically in love with every 4th year girl and up. A major target for Quinton Zsarcaspian.
Model: Dylan Sprouse
A Taste of Personality: Leo has a bit of a thing for older woman, so he's a major flirt for every girl, and it doesn't matter what house or blood, as long as their older and pretty. Though, sometimes he gets made fun of by everyone for his height (Leo stands at 4 feet and 9 inches), that doesn't get in the way of his... well, annoying, egotistical, over-confident spirit.
A Bit of Background: Leonardo was born in Sydny, Australia, and then moved to London, England with his muggle parents when he was 10 because . When a man showed up on their doorway claiming Leo was a wizard, Leo and his parents were enthralled.

User Image
Name: Olivia Renee Zsarcaspian

Year: 4th year

Model: Carolanne Evans
Color: Mediumvioletred

User Image Name: Margaret Nancy Tharp
House: Slytherin
Year: 4th year
Birthday: March 2nd [Pisces]
Connections: Roommate with Olivia Zsarcaspian, Melanie Parks, Lyra Winner, and Sara Michaelson; thinks Olivia is a bit of a weirdo and envies her abnormal, dark beauty. In love with Aidan Reese. Using Olivia to be around Aidan.
Model: Camilla Rosso
A Taste of Personality: Maggie is a bit of a gossip, but you didn't hear it from her. She's an escapist, and will use every excuse in the book to lie, cheat, and make sure you don't know what you're not supposed to. And then she'll let you in on the latest, usually bad, news about what's going on around school. She only hangs out with people who will make her look good.
A Bit of Background: Penelope and Gerald Tharp are what you could have called the gossips in school, both were in Slytherin. Maggie would literally kill someone if they ever found out that her grandmother was a half-blood Hufflepuff.

User Image Name: Jessica Claire Kinndell
House: Slytherin
Year: 5th year
Birthday: July 1st [Cancer]
Connections: Friends with Maggie Tharp. Hates Alice Burkley, Matthias Ibn-Lahad, Jane Driscoll, Skander Mchale, and any other 5th year Gryffindor in her classes.
Model: Sophie Oda
A Taste of Personality: Jessica is a major jealous type, and hates many people just for what they are. She's shy, nagging, and can't take critisism well, and often takes people's words way too seriously. When it comes to boys- she stalks them with some of her other Slytherin friends. Many boys think she's ugly ("resembles something like a pig") and a freak, especially since she basically follows them everywhere.
A Bit of Background: She comes from a middle-class background, but acts like she's wealthy like all her other friends.

Model: Raviv (Ricky) Ullman
Color: Navy

User Image Name: Carson Joseph Overfield
House: Hufflepuff
Year: 6th year
Birthday: January 23th [Aquarius/Capricorn Cusp]
Connections: Best friend of Quinton Zsarcaspian’s and has a thing for his sister, Olivia Zsarcaspian. Dated Ophelia Ozma in their 4th year, but hasn't quite gotten over their break-up. He still has a thing for her. Dorm-mates with Quinton Zsarcaspian, Jamie Austen, and Sirius Austen.
Model: Michael Seater
A Taste of Personality: CJ, he prefers to be called, is just as rebellious, sarcastic, and a goofball as his best friend, Quinton, but he controls himself much better than his best friend. He treats girls kinder, and doesn’t get in as much trouble, but he still does his fair share of detention. He likes girls that he can't handle, ones who are different.
A Bit of Background:His mother is a muggle and his father is a wizard. Four years after being married, Janice and Kenneth Overfield had a boy. Three years later, they gave birth to a girl. Janice found out about her husband’s and children’s magical capabilities when Carson got his letter to Hogwarts. She understood, but his parents haven’t been on good terms since. CJ is suggesting they‘ll get a divorce, soon, and will have to live with his and his sister’s father.

Year: 6th year
Birthday: February 13th [Aquarius]
Model: Kadaj ((Final Fantasy))
Color: Silver

User Image Name: Katherine Naomi Engelton
House: Slytherin
Year: 6th year
Birthday: September 21st [Virgo/Libra cusp]
Connections: Has a crush on Aidan Reese and Rain Larks, using Maggie Tharp for rumors and gossip, and secretly despises Olivia
Model: Kristen Stewart
A Taste of Personality: Katherine's on the quiet side, and would seem a bit dull at first, but she has self-confidence level that makes her wear way too much make-up and acts very vain. She may seem nice, but she possesses a lot of secrets, and will tear someone apart or call something off if she feels threatened or betrayed.
A Bit of Background: Both of her parents are purebloods, and her father works for the ministry while her mother stays at home. Wealthy, conceited, and treat Katherine like she's the center of their universe, Heather and Larent Engelton give Katherine everythng she wants and more. They'll take any measure to make sure she, and themselves, get the better end of the stick.

User Image Name: Cornelius Kristopher Graham
House: Slytherin
Year: 7th year
Birthday: September 15th [Virgo]
Connections: Dorm-mate of Aidan Reese, but he hates him with a passion. Has had a little thing for Jane Driscoll.
Model: Steven Strait
A Taste of Personality: Quiet, scary, dangerous in other's eyes, but really has a big heart once you really get to know him. Though when he was younger, many made fun of him because he was a bit of a softie in his 1st year, but he soon turned into a cold, hard, HUGE brick who feels almost no emotion. A lot of students, and some teachers, are afraid of him now, because of how big he is (he stands 6'4") He basically ignores anything that can understand him or anything that is weak or vulnerable in anyway. He HATES to feel weak. He hates any kind of emotion that may interfer with his reputation. But there is one thing that confuses him even more and even softens him up a bit: seeing an innocent hurt for no reason, whether mentally or physically. Though he won't do anything about it, it'll be in his mind for the whole day, and will bother him until he finally forgets it. He never tells anyone about it, because that's all what Slytherins basically do, and fears that no one will understand how he feels. He also has a thing for short girls.
A Bit of Background: His father was a student at Durmstrang and later on met his mother, an English witch. Pureblood in every way possible. Lived in a strict household and had been strangely mature as a child.

mutual hate: Maddox Kingston, Kamille Sirianni, Skylar Martin, Aidan Reese

[Model] Hayley Williams, singer of Paramore
[A Taste of Personality] has a lot of energy and stands up for herself and others, but has a hard time learning that there are times when sensitivity is needed. Takes things too lightly and craves to have fun and to have attention, even if she'll deny it. Gets depressed a lot and is extremely emotional, but will never show anyone this side of her.
[A Bit of Background] Doesn't know her real parents and was adopted by Nana Burkley when she was 5 at a Catholic adoption center. Met Rain Larks, became best friends, then met Fidelious Violino [FIG], and had their own little group. Nana is a squib. Got her letter, and had to have everything explained by Nana. Rain was a wizard, and two years later, she found that Fig was magical, also.

[A Taste of Personality] calm, but has scattered thoughts. Can be a little aloof at times, but around his friends he's a completely different person and could become loud and enthusiastic. He can become overly protective of things he cares about and when he gets really angry, it seems like he pops. Then he's not a pleasent person.
[A Bit of Background] Met Alice Burkley and Fidelious Violino on his street and became best friends. Parents got a divorce when he entered his 1st year, explaining why he was sorted in Slytherin for his angry thoughts and depressive negativity.

[if I wore a name-tag, it would say] Elizabeth || Leisel || Spelling

[but ignore it. my real name is] Izzy, Iz, or Spelling [do NOT, under no circumstances, call me] ELIZABETH. I will literally kill you with my bare hands.

[people who know me think me as] an extremely curious girl who‘s too clever and nosy for her own good. [if you go beyond that, I‘m just] a real person looking for someone who can understand me and talk to me. Someone with patience...

[mirror says] female [and I prefer] the male species [thank you very much]

[I‘m better than you, so that means] Slytherin

[I demand presents on] November 23rd [and, yeah, that‘s right. i‘m a] Sagittarius, but on the cusp of Scorpio. [I sure am young] 11 years old

['sup, I'm a] 1st year

[those people I live with] Richard and Wendy Spelling [Richard's an idiot and didn't tell Wendy] Half-and-half. Shhh, don‘t tell the other Slytherins. Or I'll torure you until you're about to die, then leave you alone for a while, and then repeat the process.

[weapon:] 9 [inches and] 4 [centemeters of] Reed [wood, containing a] Peruvian Vipertooth heartstring

[the other weapon:] Cheetah

[dis the] tree frog [I have named] Peter Pan [and you die. Period.]

User Image[I HATE sports] so what makes you think I‘d play Quidditch? Idiot.

[if I were a lasor, I'd be set on DESTRUCTIVE] I’m not exactly what you would call a sweet, cute looking little 11 year old, no. You look at me, and think “Whoa, where the hell did that come from?” But that could just be me when I see my reflection in the mirror when I wake up in the morning. Anyway. My hair: electric black, the blackest of blacks, not even a strand of dark brown. In the sun, it shines a color blue rather than a dusty brown. It is thick, short, choppy, and my bangs are always, always in my eyes. I’ll explain why, later. I’m not a fan of brushing it in the morning or even taking the slightest care of it besides washing it when I take a shower, so you can expect it to be sometimes sticking up everywhere like I just woke up--which is exactly what I just did. When I feel like doing something different with it, you can expect some little pigtails that look more like sprouts growing on my head. Otherwise, it’s just down, and is only long enough to where the bottom layers brush lightly against the back of my neck.

Now, there’s one feature on my that sometimes… well, freaks people out a bit. And this is why I keep my bangs in my eyes. The color of my eyes is yellow. Yes. Yellow. Kind of like a cat. You may, if you wish, call it a light, light honey or a strange form of Hazel, but I say they’re yellow. I inherited them from Richard, though his are green, so I don’t really undestand. They look extra, er, bright when I have such naturally dark, thick eyelashes. It doesn’t help that I sometimes have circles under my eyes from lack of sleep for… uh, days. But anyway. Yeah. There’s a bit of green around them, too, fading into yellow as it reaches the pupil. I guess… sometimes people will look at me whenever I have my hair out of my face, and just kind of stare since it’s not really normal for someone with yellow eyes. My skin is pale, soooo very pale. But, not ghostly pale, just kind of average, I suppose, for someone who hates the sun and hates even the word “sport.” I have a small button nose, abnormally pink lips, and a sharp jaw line, especially for an 11 year old. Told you I don’t look like how I’m supposed to.

My bone structure is that of a “model”, I suppose, like Wendy, but somehow I ended up being like a miniaturized size. I mean, sure, I guess 4’ 10” is an average height for an 11 year old, but I’m stick thin and it just makes me seem extra small. Of course I’ve never been bothered by how tiny I am; it allows me the opportunity to squeeze into those tiny places. Heh. Anyway. I wear a size 6 in shoe.

Ugh. Sometimes I even have to shop in the little girls’ section. It’s pretty degrading. Clothing was never a real interest to me and I mainly just wear a lot of t-shirts and jeans, when I don't feel like picking out an outfit in the morning. Skirts? Gross. That’s one of the downfalls of Hogwarts: UNIFORMS. I mean, yeah, the tie is going to be pretty wicked, but the fact that I have to wear a skirt just makes me want to chew off all my already shortened, black nails. My legs are white, and I just hate the feeling of air between my legs; it makes me feel exposed. Maybe they’ll let me wear a pair of shorts underneath. I’ll just do it, anyway. Do you think they’ll let that slide? Well, anyway, I'll figure it out somehow. I like to wear a lot of wrist bands, and brightly colored skinny jeans are acceptable. I just love to burn everyone's eyes out with my neon wardrobe. I get a lot of fashion zombies attacking me because of it. My clothes are pretty spiffy.

[it's not important, but read it anyway] "So my dad, Richard Spelling, right? My dad wasn't the smartest student in Hogwarts. In fact, I'm thinking he barely graduated and had the lowest scores. He was one of those big, ugly Slytherins who had nothing but air in their thick skulls and thought things being blown up was the coolest thing in the universe. Now, Richard wasn't interested in the whole Dark Lord rubbish like some of his friends, but he wasn't the most brilliant or holy, either. After leaving school, Richard went to work as assistant manager for a rather un-popular wizard shop that sold things from forever lasting candles to text books. His parents, Geraldine and Larent Spelling, didn't give him any of the fortune in the bank for him to live off of, so he did his share of odd jobs from time to time just to live. And he did this for a straight 5 years.

And then he met Wendy Marrlow, my mother. Wendy was a dark-haired, pale muggle woman who worked as a model for a living, wealthy in every way possible, and always got what she wanted. Except for love, that is. She hadn't found it, and dated a nice looking man for a little while. But what she really wanted was to start a family. And when she either mentioned this to a man, they would always run away from her. Richard was dumb-struck, and I'm not even using the figure of speech, when he saw this gorgeous woman at a dinner party with his friends. She was there are one of his better-looking friend's date, but only for the occasion, because, of course, she was a muggle. But that really didn't matter to Richard. He fell in love with her the moment he saw her.

But Wendy was the least bit interested in him, since he wasn't the best looking man on the planet. Plus, his finace situation was repulsive. And, yet, somehow they got together and dated. Wendy always said, "I decided to give him a chance, since he seemed so nice." Oh, please. Well, it turns out that Wendy fell in love with Richard, despite his faults and everything bad about him, and they married two years after dating, and moved into a nice home in Oxford. But, unfortunately, Richard kept the little secret of him being magical from her. They were happy for a few more years, but Wendy wanted a child, and that's when little ol' me came.

I, Elizabeth (-shudder-) Leisel Spelling, was born November 23rd, 1979. Of course Wendy was estatic, especially since I was said to have been one of the cutest little babies everyone had ever seen; I inherited my mother's beauty, by the looks of it. Pft. Anyway. Wendy showed me with all my dark hair and honey eyes to everyone in town, and Richard just followed her. They were pretty back then, my eyes, but as I grew up, they became a bit more bright and had a very cat-like mischevious appearance to them.

So I was a rather... dangerous child, and I did almost the opposite that my parents told me. I ran around with scissors, colored with crayons on the walls, and screamed at the top of my lungs when I didn't get what I wanted--and that was when I was really scary. Plenty of strange stuff would happen when I got mad, like if it was a toy at the store, and I wanted it, and then Wendy would tell me I couldn't have it. But when we left the store, somehow it ended up in the car. I was accoused of stealing plenty of times, but no one could figure out how I actually snuck whatever I took out of the store. Being interrogated all the time and punished for what I didn't do just made my attitude a bit... well, "bitchy" would be a very good adjective.

Well, I got my letter just recently, but no one came like with the muggleborns, so I was a little confused. Then Richard decided that he'd now decide to be honest with Wendy and I and told us of what he was: a wizard. At first I thought it was comical, almost throwing the letter in the trash, but Richard made me keep and it once we went to Diagon Alley, I made up my mind that this wasn't close to a prank.

Wendy wasn't too happy, however. In fact, she was furious when she found out, since Richard's been keeping it from her for over 11 years. I didn't really care, but she announced before I left for school that she's 2 months pregnant.

Joy.

[read this, too] I’m not aiming to be someone to trust; I just want to know everything about you. But I already know more than you think I do. I just pestering you about it because I want to prove my suspicions. And usually all of my suspicions are correct. I’m one of those people who has common sense. A little too much, sometimes. I tend to not believe everything a person says, and take out the bits and pieces that I don’t approve of, replace those blank spots with what I think, fix a few typos and mistakes, and then print a new copy, convincing myself that it’s true and completely better this way. Which means spreading rumors can be a bit of a dilemma with me. I truly don’t mean to most of the time; I just want to get the newest word out. But then again, I play a mask for most of the time I’m in public and interacting with other human beings, and could very well possibly have the cruel intention of severely cutting your precious ego in front of every one just for my own pleasure. I don’t like people to know too much about me, so I sometimes change my personality from time to time. And another reason is that I find amusement by confusing people, saying random things that don’t really make sense, but they do. Or talking to you through riddles and questions. If one asks a question, I swerve around it by asking them one in return.

Curiosity is certainly a problem, also. I can‘t keep my small nose out of anything that’s exciting or takes my interest for one second, and I almost always sacrifice everything just to get the dirt on someone, even if it costs myself “friends“. Which, I don’t really have many, now that I think about it.. I have no time for real friends because of my snooping around and getting into mischievous trouble. And if I do make a new friend, they quickly regret asking for my friendship, due to my witty, but tactless, comments that could be cutting. So don’t take anything I say to heart.

Take out all of the probing and cunning comments, deep down there’s a young 11 year old girl. A girl who feels deeply and is severely hurt by those little things that mean nothing. I tends to think a lot. What about, it usually varies from about everything. I’m inclined to broad over things a little too much, and sometimes gets caught up into reading between the lines of what your intentions truthfully are. And frequently, when I decide whatever you did to me was, it isn’t positive.

User ImageBut when you catch me on a good mood, I’m usually quite the entertainer, and I’m more than willing to chat about… well whatever you want. I honestly don’t really care. All I want to do is talk, talk, talk, and the subject really doesn‘t matter to me, at all. Some people have actually said that I’m funny at my moments, and I often smile and laugh. But that’s only if you don’t begin to tick me off by being a real stick in the mud or irritatingly boring. From my opinion, being bored is almost as bad, maybe even worse, than dying. There’s nothing on this planet that’s worse than sitting around, doing absolutely nothing. Ugh. I get pissed off just having thoughts about it.

But, still being a girl and all, I tend to have those lonely moments, and where I want to slow down for a moment. I do get a bit overwhelmed when a lot of people have something against me. I get really frightened and upset when I’m yelled at or scorned. I don’t know why, but that hurts me deeply to be screamed at, and I’ll try my best not to cry.

I’m only timid when I’m around people I don’t know or around a certain someone that I like. Well… Yeah, I like boys, but right now, at this age, they’re all idiots. Pretty entertaining, actually. I like boys who give me a challenge, mental games, perhaps, and isn’t afraid to talk or be around me. People who just come up and talk to me (when I’m in a good mood!) are my favorites, because they save me from doing something that’ll divert me from burning the hair on my arms… erm- don’t ask. Heehee… heh.

[the begining of my life] isn't as interesting as most other people would think it was. Father, Nicolas Colby, a muggle, was a diligent, responsible, and rational psychiatrist and a writer who spent about mainly most of his life and free-time at work in Chicago, Illinois. And most of all, he didn’t believe there was such a thing called “magic”. Father always had been one for being set down in reality. The only one real dream that he set all of his hopes on was to go to college and help out those who had problems in the world, but this was more of a goal that he reached quite quickly than anything out of the ordinary. He worked hard everyday to support herself in the busy city, and had no time for anything but to be dedicated to helping anyone that she could.

Mother, Charlotte Livensey, was the farthest thing from responsible, was a compulsive dreamer, switch careers for 5 years and then settled on acting, and believed in miracles and magic. But she wasn’t a muggle, no. Mother had been born to two magical human beings, a wizard and a witch, but had unfortunately not inherited any magical ability at all. She was classified as a squib. It never bothered Mom, being different and whatnot from her friends, and her parents never thought nothing bad of her since when she was little she showed no sign of magic and didn’t get a letter from Hogwarts like her older sister two years before. They were, however, surprised. The Livensey family was a pureblood family, not prejudice, maybe a few half-bloods here and there, but never a squib. Her parents loved her, but that’s not how she felt. She kept plenty of her own feelings to herself, but found herself getting depressed when her older sister would come home from school, telling about all her experiences. Mother attended muggle school, to get an education, and took acting lessons, and then went to college for god knows how many subjects because she couldn‘t decide whether. But, somehow, her parents were always so proud of her older sister, and Mom felt left out.

User ImageAfter a show on Broadway, Mom was walking home, unconsciously not watching where she was going in the busy streets of New York. The light hadn’t turned green, but Mom was still brooding about how she made a mistake, and had walked directly into the street while a taxi was coming directly her way. Dad was behind her, walking home to his hotel for a business trip, and saw her walking straight to her death, and grabber her elbow, pulling her back. That’s when Dad stared her straight in the eye, and then asked, “Are you crazy, lady?” And that’s when Dad knew she was the one. He felt it in his heart, and for that split moment, he considered magic to be real. Mom was definitely upset that she had almost walked right into a busy street, but she also felt very grateful, despite his insult by asking if she was scary. She asked if she could do anything for him in return for saving her, and all he requested was, “Will you go on a date with me?”

I guess you could call their story sweet. A bit uncanny, but they swear to this day it’s true. Though they were complete opposites, Dad being rational and Mom being vague and mislead, and it was a long distance relationship, after a year and a half Dad finally decided to marry Mom. He had no idea about Mom’s background and the world of magic and wonders that surrounded him. Of course the relatives were a bit persnickety about her marrying a muggle, and when they asked him about if he believed in magic, Dad said he just flat out told them the only magic he’s ever felt was when he met Mom--corny, I know. Well, they announced to the family about 5 months after their wedding that they were. I was born May 4th, 1976 in Chicago, Illinois.

I attended school, like any muggle child, since Mother wished for me to live a normal muggle life, while Father just thought they were doing was what every other parent did. School was one place I can honestly say I hated with a passion. I enjoyed art, like my mother, but I had the attitude and intelligence of my father, so I was always at a higher level than the rest of the children. And that’s exactly the reason why I was bullied in school. Apparently having the highest scores in your class and possessing the ability to sketch with a pencil wasn’t “cool”, so once in a while they would steal my pencils or take my folders with all my sketches, and it only got worse over the years. However, when I didn’t ignore them and grew to be mad, plenty of strange stuff would occur, like crashing objects and the aquarium blowing up: that mishap was my favorite. I was smart enough to understand that these events would only happen around me, but I was confused. Why? Why was it only me? Was I special? What in the world was causing this? I yearned to know, but nothing would add up. I was stumped.

Parent teacher conferences weren’t the most glorious times of my life. Finally, my teacher told Mom about what had happened a few days previously (the aquarium) and, I didn’t understand it, but Mom actually looked thrilled about me blowing up a fish tank. I asked her about it, but she didn’t answer me. Grandma came over that day, and she was too indeed happy. I grew more frustrated. And so did Dad.

You should have seen the look on Dad’s face. It was priceless. But I suppose I was just as surprised as he was and appeared the same when Mom explained everything. Of course I was excited, also. I wanted to go to magic school. I wanted to learn more about this whole world that lives right under our noses. But Mother said that she wasn’t sure if I was to be a wizard or not. But at least I knew what I could be. Mom and Dad decided to get pregnant again another year later. Victoria Ann Colby was born on March 22nd, 1982, when I was just about to turn 9 in two months. It was a wonderful surprise to all the family, and we were happy to bring her in the family.

But my dad had to move to London, England for business, so we basically had to pack up and move to good ol’ England a year after Tori was born. I was actually happy to have moved, since that meant

And when I was 11 in August, Mother and Father were growing anxious. Mom wanted me to be magical, wanted me to experience what she wasn’t able to before, and Dad was just amazed that his son could very well may be able to do something that he never even believed it. When my acceptance letter for the local magic school, Hogwarts, came, along with a wizard there to explain where to go and what to do to get to Hogwarts, since Mom wasn’t used to England’s ways. You wouldn’t believe how HAPPY Mom had been. She basically started dancing around the house. Well, anyway. I was shipped off to Hogwarts.

I wasn’t particularly surprised when I had been sorted in Ravenclaw; I knew it when that hat sang that song. Plus, my mind was jogging so much that I just couldn’t stop thinking about everything at once, which is strange because I’m usually a very slow person who takes there time. I was curious and craved the information I was to learn here. And, also, of what I am capable of. But, one thing is for sure: I’m happy. I’ve finally felt like I belong.

[you might be surprised] by how much personality I really do possess. I’m quiet in class, and I’m dedicated to every little thing that I do, whether it’s homework or making sure one of my friends are happy; I won’t stop until I succeed or finish. And it doesn’t help that I’m so stubborn. Once I have my mind set on something, or I have an opinion, it’s strong and it’ll take a lot of effort to change it, no matter what. It’s just the way that I am.

[questioning her sanity myself, I'm] Madeline || Geneviéve || Wickliff

[but it's just] Maddie. Wickliff if you must. [and if you want to make things difficult] anything that's just plain unoriginal or lame. "At least put some thought into something that will bother me, please."

[declared as] a girl who has terrible bad luck. [but I'm really just] me. [words to describe] UNIQUE, quirky, a bit shy, logical, aloof, humanitarian, uncaring, detached, loner, stubborn, imaginative, but usually has her head in the right place. Simple.

[just a] girl [and "I guess I like] boys."

[takes more than just a sparkling mind to be in] Ravenclaw

[Maddie-Day] January 28th [stars' opinion] Aquarius [last birthday, I believe I turned] 14

[half-way to graduation] 4th year

[my parents are] Felix Wickliff and Gabriella Garcia [I never heard of Quidditch until my 1st year, so just guess] Muggleborn? Good guess. You are correct.

[the core of my magic is] 10½ [inches long, made of] Cypress [wood, with a essence of] hair from a Sphinx's tail

[loyal companion] Platypus

[my personal entertainment] Russian Blue [titled] Fizzgig (if you've seen "The Dark Crystal", you'd know who that is)

[quidditch is] something that completely confuses me.

[look at me all you want] "But I really don't care what you have to say, whether I'm ugly or beautiful; it does not matter. I have an oval face, clear. My skin varies depending on the season. Usually, during the winter, I have a pale cream color, but I'm not chalky white.User Image And then gradually as summer comes around, I'm darker, but not by much. I stay out of the sun as much as possible; I'd rather be inside reading a book or hanging out with friends. My eyes are just a dark brown, possibly appearing black when it's dark. But when the light hits it, they're a light chocolate shade. My hair is dark brown, although it has been mistaken for black countless of times. I assure you. It's brown. I keep it long and layered, parted to the side; usually it's wavy or curly. My hair isn't always in my face because I hate having it there. I pull it back behind my ear or use a bobby-pin to bring it over just an inch. I don't put it up much, considering it takes too much time to do anything with it (and it's so thick it's difficult to work with), but I'll at times put it in a side ponytail or pull it back, you know, basic styles. Let's not get too lavish, here. My lips have been known for the feature I’m most acknowledged for. They’re full, pink, and curvy. Great, right? Plenty of girls have a habit of becoming envious of me for them. I don't mind them. I use a lot of cherry chapstick, and maybe some lip gloss, and blush is one of the only make-up products I use. I'm challenged when it comes to eyeshadow, and I'd probably poke my eye out if I tried eyeliner. Mascara's simple to apply. I'll use that sometimes.

"I'm not skinny, just healthy, thank you very much. I would never use the excuse, 'I'm big-boned." because that would be incorrect. I'm my perfect size, whether you like it or not. Although I wouldn't mind loosing a few pounds... anyway. Since I lack being interesting in anything physical, I lack muscle-mass. I stand only 5 feet and 5 inches tall, and I'm still growing. My shoe size is 7 and a half. I have a small moon shaped birth mark on the back of my left leg, there's a small, almost barely noticable scar on my right hand from playing with scissors as a child, and then another scar on my right ankle from a blister I got from new shoes 3 years ago.

"My dress style is unconventionally, unusual, and I haven’t checked the current styles of today since I can’t remember. I don’t pay attention to fashion magazines or fashion nazis and I rarely wear something my mother picks out for me. I do my own shopping, I dress in what I think is appropriate or appeals to my eyes, and I would like to keep it that way. Alright, let’s just say clothing can be a real touchy subject for me. I don’t dress is baggy clothing but nor do I wear anything in the range of pink and will bet me a one-way ticket to label Ville. Although with my interest in alternative music, I’ve been drawn to the darker hues of the color chart, but not all the time. I like jeans, yes, simple. Nice-fitting t-shirts and button-up shirts, vests, ties, sophisticated looking clothing, yet unusual in design, color, or pattern. It has to have it's own little kick, right? I can't stand a plain closet. Your clothes reflect what you are and how you feel. And I am not a dull person... am I?

"My facial expressions vary, but you'll usually see me with a light, amused smile on my lips and my right eyebrow cocked up. I do that a lot. I can do it with both of my eyebrows, actually... which is sort of an embarrassing talent, I know. Anyway. I enjoy smiling, you know, happy rubbish, and some say my smile is very uplifting and beautiful and brings sunshine into the room, but when I'm in a frown or I have a fierce, intense glare set on my eyes, my facial features look darker than normal and I bring a lot of negativity to the air. I don't know."

User Image[not the most amazing autobiography] "Dad, Felix Wickliff, was Scottish, and Mum, Gabriella Garcia, was English-Spanish, both muggles and both in the publishing business; my mother was writing a science fiction book and my father was the one going to publish it for her with his publishing company, Wickliff Inspirations, or W.I. But let’s get info on my parent’s backgrounds.

"Mum was born in Spain on October 16th. She was a popular child and had a very creative mind, always finding inspiration from everywhere and wanted to bring her ideas and thoughts out to the public, but she didn’t know how. After her 6th birthday, Mum moved to Liverpool, England for her parents to attend college and learn the language English. Mum had to learn English, also, in order to go to school. After a few years, Mum tried a number of things in the artistic area, but soon found that she had a special talent for writing, and with her zany mind and creativity, she possessed passion for science fiction. Her family, a little iffy about her interests, had supported her, along with her few close friends. Mum continued to write short stories, science fictional or some even horror, but only let friends and family read them in fear of rejection or disappointment. After writing a story that soon became a two year project, her best friend had urged her to publish it into an official book, and not just 400 pages of printer paper stuffed in a binder.

"Dad was born in Scotland on June 3rd. He wasn’t a very orderly boy, and was always the one smiling and cracking jokes. In fact, he was the class clown. Dad possessed a lot of energy and loved to work with people and to have fun while doing it, so he had plenty of creative ideas to make working enjoyable. After graduating high school in Liverpool, United Kingdom, he went to college, and then started his own publishing business for his passion of learning and books, naming it Wickliff Inspirations, and became an editor.

"And now we’re back to how my parents met. Yet, the happy ending doesn’t start here. Firstly, my parents hated each other the moment they stepped into the same room. And secondly, Dad hated Mum’s book and didn‘t want to edit or publish it. But, somehow, after hours of arguing and negotiating, Dad eventually said he was try and edit her book and see what he could do with it. Mom, a bit reluctant, but satisfied that she won, gave him her copy, and went on her way. They frequently saw each other in meetings with a few other souls in Dad's publishing company, explaining the process and how it was going to work. And also, they planned out the story and collaborating about what was to be changed. My parents weren't getting along at all still, and arqued like merchants over everything. But somehow, someway, they fell in love. "I always loved your father," Mom tells me all the time, "I just didn't know it, yet."

"Dad became Mom's manager, and that's when things really started to get... you know, emotional. Mom's book was in the printing process, getting decent reviews, and was on the verge of popularity for it's quirky strangeness in sci-fi and fantasy. It was a great hit for the sci-fi, tech nerds and people into fantasy. Although Dad wouldn't admit it, he thought it was great; even acknowledged Mother for her creative abilities. Yet, he never did so. He was way to wrapped up in his pride to even withstand saying a simple, "Good job." or, "You're story is amazing.""

"The money wasn't becoming an issue, and although Mother had been reluctant, she began to write another book just out of curiousity. Even if she lived in a house with a wondrous view, her fans demanded more of her natural talent for writing and creativity, so she couldn't deny that she wanted to give what her adoring pupils desired. It took her a fair amount of time, the book becoming twice as long as her last. My father helped her through it at some points, giving his imput. And somehow, some way, my two parents managed to actually get along. Yet, the strange part was, they started loving each other. Immensely. The first one to notice this had been Father.

"1st year had been a bitter-sweet dream for me. I found out I could practice magic with a bunch of other children with the same abilities as me, I made plenty of friends, and I learned so much that I became overwhelmed with excitement and knowledge every day. The only difficulties I had was that people began to learn that I am not a good-luck charm. I fell on a lot of people and I broke plenty of valuable, break-able things. I apologized to all my proffessors with complete sincerity, and they let me off the hook... most of the time.

"2nd year had been a nightmare. And I'm not even saying a hilarious joke or a phrase. That year, the very first week of school, I BROKE MY WAND. I can remember it very clearly. I had just entered the Great Hall, planning on starting my report on the difference between

"My 3rd year, last year, was a bit hectic. I learned that there are actually some qualities in boys that are likable, and not just as friends. Oh, and I also learned that Divination was definitely not my thing. Of course I was curious as to what it was, being muggleborn and whatnot, so I signed up for it as one of my electives. Didn't turn out so well. First class I ended up breaking the Crystal Ball at my table, and over the course of the year I managed to break 6 tea-cups, 3 pots, 4 vases, and ripped 2 table clothes. Plus, most of the words coming out of Trelawney's mouth had been complete rubbish. "Destiny is real. You have to follow your path! Read the stars, look into the crystal ball!" I mean, seriously. What a waste of breath. And what was with those "Destiny" lectures? Complete nonesense, if you ask me. She wasn't too fond of me, either, considering everytime I stepped foot in her room I broke something valuable.

"I now reside in Edinburg, Scotland with Dad, Mom, and Nicholas. Nick has recently been showing extreme signs of magic. I expect him to be joining me at Hogwarts as of next year. Jasper and Grace live in Edinburg as well, about 15 minutes away in muggle transportation. They are expecting in March."

[outside the box and into the world] “I’m not just an average girl, but at first glances, I suppose that’s what you might see. But most of the student body at Hogwarts can say, “Oh, that’s just Madeline Wickliff, the brainy klutz in Ravenclaw.” or “Yeah, Madeline Wickliff, the Ravenclaw girl who has bad luck. I’d stay clear away from her.”

User Image"Most students try to stay clear of my way, since I suppose I have an intensive amount of a curse called “Bad Luck.” I’m a jinx, klutz, spaz, sure. I’ll try to deny it as best I can, but I cannot say that it bothers as much as it would with any normal person--and that I cannot deny that I am not. I am unique in my own special way, and I am proud of who I am, even if people who think my creative, outside of the box mind is too out-of-the norm. I like to look at a certain thing at all angels, understand how it works and to reach a different perspective each time I observe it. Quirky? Yep. Crazy? No?

"Being sorted into Ravenclaw means that I’m smarter than most other students in other houses. I won’t argue, but I won’t agree with you. Sure, I’m pretty intelligent, but that’s just because I actually study when I’m supposed to, and I take notes and pay attention in class. Of course once upon a blue moon I’ll have outstanding scores… only, those blue moons happen quite often. You’d think I was stuck up and conceited about it. But I’m not.

"And surprisingly, confidence can be a real issue for me. No, I’m not timid or meek, but I’m not some bubbly girl next door either--those ones are the most annoying. Now and again I’m embarrassed after tripping in front of a group of males or a pack of Slytherin girls, and yeah, I tend to blush and scurry away. But I’m honest, loyal, a bit detached and can seem uncaring at my moments, but I’m more of a cerebral person, in my mind, than physical. I think things through first and find the first logical explaination. Gut feelings don’t do well with me.

"I care deeply for certain things, like my friends. Sometimes my friends are more significant than my family, but I love them both just the same. I get annoyed easily, but I have in no way a short temper and I’m basically a very mellow girl who enjoys just to lay back and hope that everything turns out right. I’m quiet, but when I have something to say, you can bet your want that I’ll say something about it. Just a little blunt and frank, I have a tendency to say things that I shouldn’t, or just say something completely strange and off topic. Slaps the label “WEIRD” on my forehead.

"I'm fascinated by plenty of subjects, whether it's magical or non magical. But magical topics amuse me more. It's not everyday that you find out you're a witch when you're from a muggle family; there's so much of the magical world that you don't understand or know. Which is precisely why the library has become my new best friend the last 3 years while I have attended Hogwarts. Exploring pages, reading about stories that your mother could never have dreamed of creating, and discovering most things you never believed in are, in fact, true and as real as yourself. Unicorns were just worn out stickers on my binders from 2nd grade. Now they're real. And are closer than I thought.

"Muggle sorts and odds are natural to me, so you won't find me observing a battery like it's some sort of symbol of evolution. Yes, I go to movie theatres with my family and I do the daily thing that muggles so while I'm not within Hogwarts grounds. I love movies. My favorite is The Dark Crystal, and I know that may seem a bit bizarre, considering it's a movie using puppets, but the imagination and work behind it is just so fasinating to me. I'm trying to convince my mother to buy me an owl to send letters over the summer, but she refuses. "We have way too many animals in the house, already. Like we need another cage to clean!" My little brother, Nick, has a large amount of pets in his room. In which he ignores, leaving it for my parents to clean. Sigh... I suppose I can get over it, and explain all that to my friends. It would be nice to talk to other students about homework when I don't get it instead of going to my mother and asking what the hell a flubberworm is.

"I have yet to get over the fact that there is a world beneath all of our noses, so me gasping and seeming very interested in a common wizard world topic will not be uncommon. My mother's books and movies such as The Blob are the closest things to magic that I've been to, up until my 1st year. I'm commited, broad-minded, and I try not to be sarcastic. That's only when I'm in a bad mood and once in a while when I just want to crack a joke at someone with playful irony.

"Living with two brothers, you soon to learn that you can't live without defense, so I possess plenty of that. I take bad critisism very well. If you ever keep a promise or say something to me, you'll be surprised how seriously I'll take it. I'll point out that you'll break it and you shouldn't tell me things that you're not even sure of yourself, we get into an arguement, and then we get on with our lives. And then when you break it, I'll literally rub it in your face because I told you so. This reminds me of what happened to me last year. Leo Dawson, in Hufflepuff, basically declaired he was in love with me last year when we actually finally became friends after two years of classes together. And, although I felt a bit bad about it, I straight out told him, "No, you don't love me. You can't say that because you don't even know the definition of love. And you told Mac that last week. Idiot." and then after a few weeks he went on about how he still really liked me, and how he said, "Maddie, I would never hurt you. You know that, right?" So I sighed, then stated, "You're just saying that because you think telling that to a girl would be sufficiant enough to get yourself into their heart and to beleive that you really love them. Sorry. I don't have time for sappy promises. And you can't even say that, considering you're hurting me now. By annoying me. Good-bye." I haven't talked to him since. Oh well. He was seriously getting on my nerves, anyway.

"So, yes... I guess that's me. Just Maddie."

Anything even remotely tacky, romantic, or emotional.
Valentine's Day.
Horrible grammar or books with no real point.
Gossip.
Squash and spinach.
Intolerable know-it-alls.
Being cornered or used for information.
Divination. "Trelawney and I didn't get along."
"Destiny." "I can argue about that for as long as you want."
Dull, boring People who lack common sense.

[etc. etc. etc.] "Personally, I'd rather get school over with and THEN fall in love. Plus, most of my friends are guys, and it's just... I don't know. Weird? Yeah, yeah. I've liked a boy before, but rarely ever so often. I've had my fair share of Valentine's cards. They all end up in the trash. Disgusting.

"My favorite word is "Excellent.'"

"I recycle as much as I can and I support vegetarians, but I am not one myself. My parents would have a cow if they found out I wasn't eating meat, so I generally try to eat as little of it as possible at school. I prefer fruit, anyway.

"I'm allurgic to mandrake root. Figures."
