 [My fate lies in her hands] xarre [Full name is] Rain || Cedric || Larks [Everyone just calls me] Rain, Hale, Larks [One way ticket to broken-noseville] Happy Lark, Cedric, and Larky [Most people think I‘m] handsome, sometimes self-centered, enthusiastic, straight-forward, honest, a big flirt, and aloof when I‘m in a bad mood [I think of myself as] Everything I want to be. [I am a] guy [I really like] girls with character.[Was sorted into] Slytherin, unfortunately. [Birthday's] February 13th [Stars say] Aquarius [Age is just numbers] 16 years old [Almost there] 6th year [My parents are] Aggitha and Paul Larks [So my blood runs] Pure [My magical mechanism is] 13 ½ [inches long, and is made of] Rowan [ wood, that consists of a] Selkie’s hair [The light that protects me from darkness] Bald Eagle [My lovely companion is a]snowy owl [Who woots when I call] Oro [Quidditch?] No, but I'll sub in if they need me. I just like to free-play, though.  [Take a picture if you can't stop staring] Rain has an almost ‘bad-boy’ look. His unusual silver, wispy hair, parted to the side, frames his beautifully symmetrical face. A strong chin, wavy lips, and jade greens eyes that are so bright and intense they could light up a room are all physical qualities that he possesses. Rain’s pale and porcelain skin is due to his loathe of the sun and any weather that isn’t rainy, cloudy, or isn’t in the summer. His high cheek bones make him look older than his age, and the brawny neck compels a look of being more mature and masculine than most boys in his year. The young man’s body is quite muscular, along with his arms, from working out. Occasionally, he’ll put his silvery hair in a small pony tail, when he has to read or do school work.
Clothing for Rain has always been the same, frequently clean-cut and fashionable. He’s usually dressed in button-up shirts, with a white or black tank-top underneath, with dark faded jeans that set nicely on his thin waist. When in the school uniform, his tie is usually unkempt, and his shirt is either half-way tucked in, or not even tucked at all. Rain has to wear reading glasses occasionally, when he looses his contacts, or whenever he does his school work in the Slytherin Common room.
His signature black jacket, made of smooth leather, is one way to sort him out of a croud. (or just find that head of silver locks!)[This is my story] Rain Larks was born in the chilly winter to a respectable, organized family. Aggitha and Paul Larks, both highly esteemed employees at the Ministry of Magic, are a couple who were both sorted into Slytherin, meeting each other at Hogwarts when they were young. The two were wealthy, almost snobbish, and have a taste for the most expensive brands of clothing, furniture, etc. Their life was completely neat and orderly, nothing was misplaced, everything was perfect. Until little Rain came along into their lives.
A newborn baby was definitely a challenge for the couple, both having no experience at raising a child, and neither of them desired an addition to the Larks family. However, they decided to name the child “Rain”, figuring it was creative enough for the boy, seeming as he had silvery hair, like his mother.
Over the years, they had attempted at raising the child, but had come to fail when it came to the big events, such as potty-training and other things such as that. Thus, resulting to the purchase of a sweet, little house elf by the name of ‘Elfie’. Elfie had been Rain’s greatest friend, since his parents had sheltered him from any contact from the outside world, believing that anything that was related to Muggles were out of the question for the boy. Rebellious and carefree, Rain always managed to escape from the Larks Mansion during the day, because of his parents long working hours, and be back before his parents came home through the Floo Powder network. Elfie wasn’t that strong, and she couldn’t bear to see Rain cry or cause him harm, so she merely let him go off, watching him from a far distance, making sure he wouldn’t become hurt.
At age of 6, Rain found himself a friend whom he could relate to, and thought she was an interesting character. Everyday, he would flee from his home when his parents left, Elfie watching him all the way, and ran down the road, to meet up with the girl, Alice. She was his playmate, his best friend. They eventually became real good friends.
A new addition was made, Fig, with his wildly curly hair, came into the picture, making them the three musketeers of Cherry Wood Street. His parents never suspected him, playing with muggles and leaving the household.
 However, Elfie let something spill to her master, Mr. Larks, about Rain and his adventures around the middle of August, when Rain was the age of 11, about to be shipped off to his first year at Hogwarts. The Larks couple had a heated discussion about his escapes to play with muggles, and it eventually didn’t end well. Yells, and large explosions filled the ears of young 11 year old Rain. The silver-haired boy cried the whole night, and was exhausted the day for leaving to the train station. Rain’s mother, Aggitha, took him to station 9 and ¾, silent and forlorn the whole way. The father was nowhere to be found.
The first day at the castle, Rain was not at all excited to go and get sorted, knowing fully well that he was to be sorted into a house that he felt was full of shame and cowardliness (this is what RAIN thought… not me (xarre)). His dejected attitude and hateful feelings instantaneously landed him into the house of Slytherin.
In the middle of his first year, Rain received a letter, informing of his parents’ divorce. Teary-eyed, and feeling so alone, Rain closed himself off from the rest of the world. The young boy believed that the reason for his parents’ split-off was completely his fault, for ever letting himself leave the house for so many years to be with his much cared for friends on Cherry Wood Street.
Which resulted to his almost depressive manner when he arrived home, being taken to the mansion by his mother. It seemed that his father had left the home, leaving it for himself, Aggitha Larks, and the distressed and troubled Elfie. Aggitha Larks attitude toward the house elf had become more kind, Rain had noticed. His mother seemed to become more caring toward him, also, which shocked and delighted him all at once. It seemed that the leaving of Paul Larks had given his mother a new lesson to learn, and made her more gentle and heartfelt, now being able to do the things that she enjoyed to do, such as gardening, and potting flowers. The woman knew that her former husband was the cause of their cold and dreary family, him controlling everything, and the love for money overwhelming his love for his wife.
The now new heartwarming Aggitha Larks had greatly welcomed Rain to enjoy himself with Alice and Fig, her feelings toward Muggles had become more soft, although she still distrusted the unknowing beings. But, she desired for her little boy to be happy. With Elfie watching over him, of course!
Rain had become more cheerful over the summer, being able to spend time with his younger friends. But when Alice popped open and question that revealed his existence, he was in fright. He didn’t know what to say, or tell the young girl, whom he had actually started to develop feelings for, just puppy love. But he loved that curly, red hair that came down to her shoulder, and those bright curious, sky blue eyes. And he trusted her, much more than he did Fig. So, what did he do? He told her everything. Everything he knew about the wizarding world. All of it. To his disappointment, she thought it was a joke, and laughed at his accusations. He knew that he would let some magic slip from him when the time was right, just to show her. He wanted to show her his world, and invite her to it.
But all of that was thrown out when it turned out that his little heartthrob was in fact part of his world, being a magical being herself! And when she invited him to come along with her to Diagon Alley, with her gaurdian, he greatly accepted, and went along side her, and witnessed her beautiful, young face filled with joy and amazement at the sight of the glorious world.
Now going to his 6th year at Hogwarts, his feelings for Alice never changing. And if they had changed, they would become stronger. Even though she hates me at the moment, he’ll just wait until the day she knows that she loves him, too. His only problem, is that both of his best friends were sorted into Gryfindor, his house’s sworn enemy. But that doesn’t stop him from hanging with his two childhood companions. [this is who I am] Laid-back and fascinated with the world, this silver-headed boy has a personality that fit’s his heart, not his house. Although sorted into Slytherin, Rain does not enjoy tormenting others just for the pure fun of it, unless it’s Red or those pesky first years who. Taking an interest in elegant things, he has an appeal to things that has to do with merpeople, and anything else that’s graceful and attractive.
Cool and being the Slytherin House’s heartthrob, the silver-haired boy seems to be completely honest, almost brutally, and has been known to break many young girls’ hearts, telling them that he’s not interested in a relationship at the moment. Which is actually the truth. Although he’s a great flirt, they are only passing fancies.
Be can be kind, but when he’s in a bad mood, he can be quite the egotistic, and self-centered. Aloof has been another favorite adjective to his awful temper.
The only think that really ticks him off, however, is tacky, shallow people. He can’t stand those types of girls who all look exactly alike, dress the same, and care more about their weight than protecting their friends. It drives him insane, knowing that there are people in this world who are that petty and superficial.
When it comes to stress, Rain just tries to forget about it, hiding the shamed feelings away, behind more important feelings, like how much he feels for Alice. She’s the only girl whom he‘s really cared for and wants to be with, but he figures it’s not the right time. The poor boy believes that she wants nothing to do with him, only accepting his friendship, but that’s all he wishes for from her. She’s just a pleasure that he has to wait and be patient for… but his patience is almost running dry.
Making witty jokes and comments about people, but not too damaging, is a hobby that Rain enjoys quite a lot, unless it’s with his friends. He absolutely LOVES to torture Alice and Fig with his tormenting sense of humor, that seems to only pop out when he’s around them two, since he’s known the teens since he was a young boy. It’s a real sick and twisted humor that’ll turn any girl off. Maybe a secret weapon? [I fancy] Red (Alice). Teasing Alice. Reading about science and discoveries. Hanging by the great lake. Flirting just for the fun of it. Stormy weather. Merpeople. Hogsmeade trips. Heavy metal music. Melanie Parks. Messing around with Skylar. Convincing himself that he's better than Aidan. Possibly Kamille Sirianni. The colors black, grey, and white. Elfie. [I really dislike] Seeing Red hurt. Barbie-doll figured girls. My cruel father. The sun. The heat. Whining and complaining. People who take things way too seriously. Pies. Matthias. [Oh, and let‘s not forget] My best friends are Alice and Fig. But my Slytherin best friends are Aidan Reese and Skylar Martin. Although, Aidan is competition for the girls I've got my eyes on. Relationship: Hopelessly In Love With Rain, Possible Future Girlfriend ((and Wife!? lols)) and We Know Each Other Well
What you think of Rain: "Of course I know Rain! He's one of the sweetest, coolest, and best looking guys I know! Lately I've been thinking about him a lot lately, which I know sounds weird but I have! I think I might well...*whispers* be in love with Rain. Don't tell him I said this though! I'd be so embarressed if he found out and he didn't feel the same way! So I'll just continue being his friend so things won't be weird between us. I'd hate it if I made Rain feel weird, so I'll keep on going on with life as usual. I just want Rain to be happy, if he's happy, I'm happy. Oh I guess I should say some more nice things about him, huh? Well for starters he's always such a gentleman. He's easy to talk to you and he obviously cares about his friends. All in all, Rain is plainly amazing."
History, if any: They haven't been friends for very long, but they've always talked to each other and sometimes bring out the best in each other. A few flirts have bounced back and forth. And lately Melanie has realized she really does enjoy Rain's presence and wants to spend more time with him. She's basically in love with him, but doesn't want to believe that she is. She can't believe that she has fallen in love so soon. And not knowing that Rain feels the same way, she hasn't expressed her feeling with him.
Plot ideas: Well since Rain and Melanie obviously don't know that they both feel the same way about each other I think they'll have this constant struggle of trying not too act to weird around each other. Melanie and Rain will form a strong bond of friendship and look out for each other. Like Mel will be very concerned if Rain goes out with other girls or when Alice (or somebody else that's important to him) makes him sad/upset. She'll constantly look out for him and try to make him happy by just being herself. Hopefully Rain will tell her how he feels! Though it will take a while. (unfortunately)

History, if any: They're in the same house, so they do know each other. He has no idea that Rain knew he existed before he entered Hogwarts, but he does regard the elder Slytherin as at least decent enough to actually spark up a non-sarcastic conversation with once in a blue moon.
Plot ideas: Perhaps some small disputes regarding Zacch's ungratifying views of most Gryffindors.

Plot ideas: Whenever Rain and Melanie get together Skander will probably want to talk to him. If he ends up seeing that Rain's a good guy he might let his jealous guard down and become friends with Rain. Hey, he might even give Rain advice when it comes to dating Melanie! Plot ideas: I'm thinking eventually they could work out their differences and be somewhat friends, perhaps even Rain could be (assigned?) her potions tutor because Masika sucks at concocting things...food, spells, potions...lies...

What you think of Rain: "Rain? Oh yeah well He's gorgeous thats for sure.....I haven't talked to him that much.We have had some conversations...He's quite interesting.I tend not to approach him. I get the feeling he likes me...kind of but not really , I know he gets slightly irritated with my shyness but I'm more and more outgoing...at least when he's around. He makes me want to break out of my shell."
History, if any: She bumps into him a lot and usually blushes and walks again but she's becoming bolder and sometimes makes witty comments or even strikes up conversations.
Plot ideas: It would be cool for them to have a back and fourth struggle between liking or not liking each other. ^^ She's evolving out of her shyness but goes back to it sometimes.

History, if any: Well Mac has only met Rain through Melanie. She's only talked to him when Melanie is around.
