This is the diary for Itzel, of the Zephirae Angels, and her caretaker Eirnae Natenhar. Only Eirnae Natenhar is allowed to post here, unless she gives permission for others to also join in the activities and roleplay that goes on in this thread.

1 - Do not post in this thread unless you are on the Guest List, are the Guardian of a Zephirae, are dropping off a gift IC, or have my permisson. Violators of this rule will be reported to a Moderator.

2 - If you wish to drop off a gift... you will need to remember that you cannot find the Slytherin-Natenhar manor, Emerald Haven, without being informed of its location (highly unlikely), so please roleplay leaving the gift for Eirnae to find in front of her family's cottage. Note that the cottage is surrounded by a forest of cherry blossom trees that never stop blooming, and that you will need to have prior knowledge of its location to go there. All Zephirae Guardians can consider themselves informed of the cottage's address automatically.

4 - If you want to visit with Itzel, and you are the Guardian of a Zephirae... Just PM me, and we'll work out a good time for your Zephirae or even just yourself to have a roleplay session with Itzel.

5 - If you want to visit with Itzel, and you are not a Guardian... PM me and ask about the subject. You never know, I may be able to snag some free time.

<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v41/Eirnae/Zephirae/Diary%20Graphics/BloodDrop-smaller.png">Appearance: Itzel has just past shoulder-length hair that is mostly black, though each strand slowly fades to a dark shade of gray as it nears the southern tip. This makes me wonder if my little cub would have that gray continue if her hair grew still longer, something to ponder for the future. Her markings echo my own in my chosen form of a jaguar, which leads me to believe that she is a humanoid version of that breed. Her eyes are especially remarkable, with their inner circle of bright green sharply contrasting the yellow that otherwise dominants their irises. Of course her wings are also lovely in their subtle way, the mass of the feathers being a muted hue of light gray, though those gathered along the bottom edge of each wing are speckled with black spots halfway up their length.

As a jaguar I have short gray fur with black spots, though my markings tend to shift as I move due to my true nature. My elven form has gray skin, waist length black hair which I usually keep in a ponytail, and a stripe of black splotches along each side of my body. No matter what form I am in my eyes remain the same. Many tell me they remind them of what black holes should look like, minus their obviously moist quality.

I did not realize I possessed such an affinity for young till Shina came into our lives, and now they are my whole world. Well, most of my world. Imagine my surprise when Itzel takes more note of my presence than Eirnae's, choosing me as her Guardian and Father. I feel honored yet challenged to bring up my cub in the best way possible, something I could never do without those I call family's continued aid.

Those with strength should use it to protect the weak, for why else would we be granted such skills if not for the greater good? Quite frankly, if someone ever threatens one of our cubs I am tempted to rend them limb from limb, but I try to listen to the inner voice that tells me to frighten them is enough.

A living example is very helpful in this respect. Yes, I can resemble most anything that breathes, including Eirnae if I wished...though I find that thought disturbing. I also am physically strong and 'robust', as Calavel would put it, but I attribute that to my being undead and not my excercise regime. I also should mention that I can literally blend into shadows, which isn't that hard when you are mostly composed of the same element, and can secrete a type of venom from small sacks in the upper sides of my inner mouth that saps the strength of those it splashes on or into.

I am just as vulnerable to physical harm as a living being, though I may be more resilient than most. I can be 'killed', if it can be called that.

Itzel was wearing this when I first saw her, and to be honest I cannot understand its significance. I do know that she refuses to remove it, so I feel I ought to find out what its symbols mean. I do not want my cub to be wearing an item with a bad history.

Father, Sister, Brother, Blessing
Lenore gifted all of these toys to Itzel over time, and for that I am grateful to her. Itzel is fond of them, having taken them to reside within her soft den nestled in the constructed cave in her room. All of her toys have become a small family to her. She insists in jaguar that each must be called by its proper name and do their 'family duties'. It's adorable to watch her try to teach them how to hunt in the false forest of her room, though she is more likely to set them in their usual spots and tell them to 'do their chores'.

If I could have stopped Maikash from crafting these weapons and then presenting them to Itzel, I would have. They seem to have been created with a child in mind, though they are still far too awkward for Itzel to handle. Not that I will let her till she is older, anyway.

I am Alimus, Itzel's Guardian and Father, and I plan to take excellant care of my little cub. Lucius is...well...I know we are slowing becoming more than friends, but I don't want to rush him into anything. In time we will see how things develop.

Maikash appeared not long after Itzel entered my life, and quickly shouldered her way into our household. She is very motherly towards Itzel, and incrediably protective. In fact, the only beings I have seen her allow near Itzel when she is with her are myself, Eirnae, Shina, and Itzel's Latria.

Latria was originally Eirnae's, but my Bonded felt that Latria would be better appreciated if she became Itzel's companion. Lo and behold, she was right. Latria is not often away from Itzel, if she can help it. The two bonded quickly, and seem to watch over one another.
