Simba's Family
ZAN

Zan is a hyperactive, multi-personality boy who cares for Simba. While he may seem like a complete moron he really isn't, just loaded with energy.
He loves to play games and dress up in silly costumes to entertain his visitors. His favorite of all costumes is his Jedi costume, inwhich he made all by himself.
He enjoys acting out plays and making plushies, especially ones of the Heartless from Kingdom Hearts.
Zan also has a knack for getting into trouble or getting lost (bad sense of direction.. VERY bad sense of direction.)
New Info on Zan:
It has now been reveled that Zan is a preist. Yes. A preist..... xx;
Saru
Saru is a fisty teenager who came to the shrine one day, begging for work. Zan knew the boy from a long time ago for Saru had once tried to rob him. Being as nice as he was, Zan allowed the boy to stay at the shrine. Saru has become Zan's 'monkey boy' and is always running errands or babysitting Simba when Zan is busy.
He's usually always around the shrine. He never goes near the temple...
Kyodei
A new arrival to the shrine as well. Kyodei is a very girlish boy who doesn't speak much and is rarely ever seen. Not much is known about Kyodei. All he really does is cook and clean. Every now and then, one can see him lurking near the temple or walking around with Simba...
How he came to Zan is something no one remembers. Zan, himself, does not even recall when Kyodei first arrived or why he had come. He doesn't really care either. (Zan can't cook very well so, he's happy Kyodei is around to cook.)
-Pictures for Kyodei and Saru will be up sooner or later...-
Simba's Friends
Kenji
- Kenji and Simba seem to have developed a very strong bond with one another. Wonder what that means?
Simba has no other friends. crying Poor boy...

The 'Log'
Zan's log on Simba's Development
7/20/04- Today Simba arrived at my home. I've discovered two thing about him; He has one wing and he is a lion. Yes, a lion.
Not much has happened yet but, I'll update the log when something new happens. That's all for now!
~Zan
7/20/04-Omg. It's shocking, Simba hasn't been alive that long yet he is already crawling! Amazing.. I have a feeling that he is going to grow up a very powerful being. I hope he'll use that power for good.
I think he made a good impression on everyone at the HQ. He kept making roar noises and I think everyone found that rather cute. It was kinda cute. hehe.
Gabo is planning on visiting us tommrow. We're going to watch Cowboy Bebop the movie and Anastasia. I hope neither of those movies scare poor Kenji and Simba. I'll let you know how that went tommrow. This is the last entry I am writing for today.
7/24/04- Gabo came over a while back and brought Kenji with him. Hehehe. Simba seemed to enjoy that. We watched Cowboy Bebop. I noticed something odd about Simba's heartless plushie though... It moves! I'll have to poke at it a bit more to see -why- that thing blinks and moves. Anyway, Simba and Kenji seem to be great friends now.
That's really all I have to write now so... until next time!
~Zan
7/27/04-Simba said something. He said his name. He's also started saying 'Nihao'. This is leading me to belive that he is ethier Chinese or that he's copying Shampoo from Ranma 1/2. I think it's the first one. Who knows though! I'll have to wait and see if he says any more words!
~Zan
7/29/04- I introduced Mitsuo to Simba today. They apper to be getting along quite well! I hope it stays that way.....
~Zan
8/6/04- Yesterday I accidently washed Simba in the washing machine. He was hiding in the dirty clothes basket when I was washing clothes and well... You know... He appers to be okay but.. I'm still keeping a close watch on him.
~Zan
8/17/04- Simba fell ill last night. It was the oddest thing and it really pains me to see him like he is now.
This is what happened:
I was sitting in the kitchen, eating a midnight snack when I heard an ear shattering scream coming from Simba's room. I immedietly rose to my feet and bolted off towards my little angel's room, opening the door and peeking inside. There he was, squirming in his blankets, covered in a strange blue goo, inwhich appered to be shifting and locking all about him. It was like a serphent in a way. It was like a serphent squeezing the life out of it's prey. I immedietly got the goo off of Simba and wrapped him up in the blanket, his skin felt icy cold... That got me worried..
I stayed up all night that night, watching as Simba slept and coughed and sneezed and well... whimmpered and whined. He muttered his wierd dialouge a lot. I recognized a few of the words but.. only a few.. I HAVE to get to the bottem of this. I have to find out what is causing his pain. I think the anwser may lie in The Temple of the Stars. The temple my family guards. Yes, we do guard a shrine. If you take a peek at the back yard you will see the temple and all it's glory... I pray that the anwser lies within the temple. Hopefully, I can reduce Simba's pain until I figure everything out....
~Zan
8-20-04- Simba is still sick. I'm starting to get really worried. I've been investigating my grandfather's old boxes and such and I came across a diary, a diary of an old chinese ruler. I found a few anwsers within that diary but.. Not enough. This is what I found:
Dear Diary,
My child, Xao Shu, fell ill last night. I woke up to his screams and rushed to his room, finding Simba towering above him. The angel and Xao were being squeezed by some odd blue light.. I couldn't place what it was.. Was.. It a demon? Luckly, I frightened whatever it was off..
I am seeing the head priest of the Temple of Stars in the morning about this incident...
Dear Diary,
I saw the head priest today. He says that it is indeed a demon. This has me terribly worried. I am rather vexed by the situation. Who would have put a curse upon my heir?
What confuses me more is that this lion boy, Simba... He promised to protect the palace from evil spirits yet.. He is doing nothing over this matter. He didn't seem effected by the incident. He was ill for a few days and grew better after a walk to the Temple. Xao Shu is still ill. Maybe a trip to the Temple will cure him? I shall have to take him the next dawn.
I pray that this will cure him....
That is what I found. The rest of the pages are blank.. But.. I have this odd feeling that at one point in time they were not blank. That they were full of text, full of words of wisdom and words of fear. I'm going to leave the house and head around back to the Temple and the Shrine. Maybe a visit there will cure Simba? I hope it does.. It pains me to see him this way......
~Zan
8-23-04-I took Simba to the temple today and something AMAZING happened! As I was praying the fountain began to overflow, rainbow water spilling all around us! He took a drink and was suddenly all better! I can't help but wonder... Did the goddess of the temple hear my prayer? I'm thinking she did... I'm grateful to her for helping my child.. Very greatful....
9-13-04- Eh, Simba and I decided to come home from a camping trip we went on. He was just acting so hyper, I was afraid he was going to fall into the lake or something! I don't have much to say at the moment so.. heh.... Oh! Before I forget to mention this: Simba ate my fish... Yes, that's right! He pulled Bob and Frank out of the tank and ate them! My poor fish.... Guess that means Gabo and I shall have to wait for more Fish Theater...
~Zan
10-16-04-
I picked up that diary I found a while back and started to read again. The pages that were blank suddenly became filled with words. It was kind of creepy...
Aside from that, Simba has become obsessed with charm cards. I showed him a few that my father had made years ago and all of the sudden... He was picking up a calligraphy brush and making charm cards. His bedroom has a huge stack of good-luck cards and cards showing love. It's rather..cute. Silly, silly boy.. Him and his charm cards. He's becoming a very good priest indeed! Guess I'm teaching him good!
~Zan
10-23-04- It took me almost all night to find Simba after he ran off yesterday. I'm not exactlly sure what happened but, one of his calligraphy brushes was broken. I asume that must have made him upset. He was whining and crying the whole way home after I found him and finally, after a headache had developed within my head, I took him up to the attic and dug out my grandfather's brushes and gave those to him.
I don't think he's going to be taking those anywhere. He's stopped putting the brushes in a bag and carrying them around so, I think he's learned a lesson...
~Zan
11-26-04-
It feels good to be home... I don't have much else to say. I'm just happy that I'm not playing tea party with a little girl anymore, it just about drove me insane...
Simba has grown to be a child, I was in shock at first.. When I left, he was just a little toddler and now, he's a child!
He's still obsessed with those charm cards too...
Well, I'm afraid I don't have much else to write.. Perhaps later on I shall think of something...?
~Zan
12-20-04-
I recieved a letter from a demon. Seriously.. A demon.
My younger brother, Baltasar Klaus, wrote us and said he's coming by to visit and to meet my kids... That boy, I want to ring his neck! announcing that he's coming to -my- home without me inviting him.
I'm hoping, for the sake of my sanity, he doesn't say anything about my sudden jump in age. I just hadn't been able to control myself when I opened that box...
Well, I'm preparing for the worst... All these visitors... Hopefully, Baltasar's visit will be short. I do not really wish for the rat to be under my roof for long..
(-glued into Zan's Diary is his younger brother's letter..-)
Dear Zanius,
It's been years, has it not? I've decided that I am going to drop by the temple for a visit. I'm not quite sure how long I'll stay. At least for the holidays, though. It'll be just like old times! We can even fight over who gets to play the N64 if you still have it.. You do still have it, correct? If not, you're in for a world of pain when I get there!
I've packed all of my games and I even brought some of your old ones that you tossed in a box at Grandfather's place..
I've heard that you're a father now? Of how many? Who's the lucky girl? I never thought I'd see you with a girl, Zanius. You never had luck with ladies! Well, I can't wait to meet them! You've told them about me, right? It's rude not to mention family to family, if you know what I mean...
Well, I'll be arriving on the Twenty-Third, unless something comes up to delay my arrival.
Love, (-The word 'love' is scratched out-)
Baltasar Klaus.
1-1-05:
The holidays were a nightmare. As Baltasar stated, he arrived on the twenty-third of December and brought with him four giant backpacks in a wagon. The moment he saw me he announced: "I'm living with you, big brother!" and now.... I'm stuck with him. Stuck with that awful, pig-headed, cynical..... Monk? I don't know if I'd call him a monk... I still belive that he is a demon who replaced my real younger sibling when he was born. Yes. I'm positive a demon killed the baby, my sibling, and took it's place! Who said it wasn't possible?!
Well... For Simba's sake, I have been attempting to be nice... Simba appers to like him.. I can't see why, though..
For christmas, I played the same old song that my father played. Santa.
It was truely difficult to pull off with Simba. He's witty... But, dressing Saru up in a giant red suit to run about the yard at night worked wonderfully. Unless Simba was being sarcastic when he said: "Now I know I belive in Santa..."
Heh... I think he was being sarcastic..
Now then, continuing on into the week, going by the twenty-forth...
I awoke Christmas Morn to find the most frightening thing imaginable... I'm a fox. Yes. I'm a fox demon. I awoke to find I had ears and a tail and when I asked Saru and Kyodei to phone someone... Saru hit me with a stick.. Dirty little monkey.
Baltasar put a stop to that. (I was shocked when he did..) After the stick was gone, he explained our family 'history'. Boring as it is, we now know that Baltasar and I had some strange relatives who fell inlove with demons...
The first was a young man named Lang, who fell in love with a fox demon, who had taken the form of a beautiful young woman. They had a daughter who was a half-breed. Part human, part demon.
Their daughter, Len, was the second and last to fall in love with a demon.
She fell in love with the leader of a wolf demon pack and ran away with him and had children..
And thus... I suppose that means the two of us are..... A little demon. Proving my theory that Baltasar is an evil demon.
Okay.. Maybe it didn't prove my theory.. Maybe he wasn't replaced by a demon...
Anyway... I suppose that means I am part Fox, part wolf. Well... Geez... That explains a lot..
Simba was not bothered by this. He found it rather cool. Thank my lucky stars he thought it was cool!
I wasn't really worried about Simba becoming frightened. He's been around demons before. Gabo, for instance. But, Saru is something to worry about... That little monkey is forgetting who I am! I'll just have Kyodei set him straight....
I can't right any longer now. I need to set the table for breakfast. Happy New Year, journal.
-Zanius
Simba's Personal Journal
11-09-04:
Today's been kind of funny for me... Saru got the bright idea that he was running the shrine while father is gone and he made me do all sorts of chores. That monkey is going to pay for making me do all those chores! I'll pour salt all over his food tonight after Kyodei makes dinner! That'll teach him not to treat me like a common worker..
Father has been gone for almost five days now. The doors to the temple remained sealed and Kyodei will no longer allow me to even come near them. I miss father, very much... Last time I saw him, I was still a little.... toddler? Now, I'm a young man. Not a boy! I'm a man. A MAN. Meaning I can take care of myself. But, I still miss father and it's nice having Kyodei take care of me while he's gone.
Saru was suppose to take care of me but, he's doing a bad job so.. I'm trying to avoid him..
I went to the H.Q. all by myself today and I got to talk with a really nice lady! I think her name is Furasshu but, I'm not really certin. She gave me a pen to write with and it's really nice! Much nicer than the other pens I own. It's not as nice as my calligraphy brushes, though. Nothing is nicer than my brushes.....
James ran away too. I've been looking everywhere for him and Lilly has been helping me. She seems really down. I'm glad Harry is so dense. He hasn't even noticed James's dissaperance!
I'm hoping I'll find him soon. I'm afraid something bad might have happened to him.
On a brighter note, I'm making a paper lanturn for Kenji! I can't wait to give it to him! I hope he likes it. Kyodei has been helping me make it. He's making one too but, he won't tell me who it's for. He says it's for a special someone, though... Wonder who it is.. I think I'm going to start following him! Maybe I can find out that way? Hehe!
~ Simba
11/26/04:
Bam! BAM! You should have seen it all, diary! Father found out from Kyodei what Saru made me do while he was gone and father hit him with a broom! It was so cool! I've never seen father act like that.
Anyway, Saru has been confined to his quarters for the next two weeks and is not permitted to leave, no matter what. I thought about setting the house on fire so that he would burn but... I changed my mind. That wouldn't be very nice and plus, it would anger the goddess to set fire to everything around her..
That's another thing I want to talk about, the goddess. Father said he met with her during the week he was gone. He said that she had trapped him beyond the 'forbidden door' and had forced him to have a tea party and play with dolls. It struck me as rather odd, I hadn't thought that she was a child.. But, Father says that she is nothing more than a child so, I belive she is a child!
Father also said she was pretty and he even decribed her for me. He said that she was young, no older than myself.. And that her eyes glimmered and shone like the emerelds placed along her temple. He told me that her skin was pale as the moon when it is shining brightly and is full. Then he said that her hair was in a pony-tail and looked kind of like my hair. Reddish-brown, I guess that's what he meant...
Father also told me she was wearing a beautiful dress-thing. I don't remember what he called it.. It started with a K, I think....
Anyway, she sounded really pretty.. I hope I'll get to meet her someday.
Yesterday, the twenty-fifth, we celebrated something called Thanksgiving. We didn't really do much, just sat around and ate ham and something called a turkey.
After eating, Kyodei and I started working on our lanterns again. I broke mine on accident and had to start over.. But, Kyodei is painting his right now and it looks cool! He painted cherry blossem leeves all over it and a pretty pond below. It looked difficult, how he painted it... He said that he was suppose to paint it before cutting and such but, he'd forgotten to do so. I told him it still looked great. It really does look great!
I want mine to look just as good so that when I give it to Kenji, he'll smile and love it!
Last thing before I go, diary.. I'm really happy dad is home now. He promised we'd go fishing sometime soon and possibly even shopping. He said something about a bike.... I wonder... What's a bike?

Well, I'm afraid I don't have much else to write.. Perhaps later on I shall think of something...?

12-20-04-
I recieved a letter from a demon. Seriously..

Hehe!

11/26/04:
Bam!

Major Events That Have Happened
Okay, I made this section to clear up a few things that have happend so far. ^^' So, prepare for a huge summary...
A few months after Simba's arrival, Zanius found that the child had started suffering an illness, which he later found was related to something that had happened long ago. Of course, he knows nothing of the lion's past life so the fact that Simba's name was in a diary from so long ago shocked him. Zan had shrugged it off and had gone to ignoring it, after he took Simba to the temple to do what the diary said had been done to cure that illness. Simba was, of course, cured and saved thanks to the waters of the fountain that held the statue of the great Goddess of Twilight, who protects Zan's home and family.
A while later, Zan found himself in a strange position. A boy had broken into his house and attempted to rob him. Zan had simpley whapped the boy with something and tossed him out.. Well, that boy came back to his home and requested to work for Zan for food and a place to stay. Zan felt bad for the boy living on the streets so, he took him in and named him Saru, which is NOT a chinese name. Zan may be chinese but he speaks more Japanese than Chinese... xD Japanese and English.. o-o'
Saru means Monkey, hence why Zan kicks him around and calls him monkey boy a lot...
Not even a day after Saru's arrival, another strange boy entered, desiring to become Zan's apprentice. Zan had found it funny and had just agreed to it. He later found that this boy's name was Kyodei and that he was not from the area. Kyodei is a very quiet boy who seldom appers. The most he's ever been seen is when Zanius was gone and he had to watch Simba and Saru. Now that Zanius is back, Kyodei has resumed his duties of cooking, cleaning and studying the temple rules... o-o' He still spends a lot of time with Simba and the two are often together when Simba is at home. Kyodei has been teaching him how to make paper lanturns and how to make little paper boats.
Now then, the incident that has just recently happened:
Every five years a time rolls around when Zanius is to meet with the guardians and the goddess of the temple. He is to enter the temple, shut the doors, and go by the fountain to the forbidden door. He is to enter it and follow the pathway through mazes and such until he reaches another door. Beyond that door is the Goddess's room, Lin's room.
What happened to prevent Zanius from returning sooner, was Lin wanted to play. The goddess of the temple is but a mere child. oo''
Ahem, anyway, Lin sat Zan down and demanded that he stay and play tea party with her. Not wishing to anger the goddess, he agreed to play her little game. Unfourtunatly, he had not a clue that she was going to make him stay for as long as she had...
After the week had passed, Lin had given Zanius a small box and told him not to open it until she said he could. Zan had agreed and had left, starting off through the path again to head back home.. Well, half way there he got the idea to open it and when he did.. A puff of smoke had shot into his face and the next thing he knew... He was older, about thirty-fivish....
After the box was opened, Lin sent her guardian, the wolf of the wind, to escort Zanius from the temple. The wolf helped Zan get out and Zan had returned home to find that Simba had grown into a young man and that Saru had been mistreating him. Zan, of course, punished Saru by locking him into a room and refusing to let him out. Saru has been placed in his room and will not be let out for a long, long time...
Simba has been incredibly happy now that his father has returned but, there is still a fog of depression lurking around him for some reason. The cause of his upset feelings is unknown.....

Simba's Past Life
At long last, I revel this to you all. It is a summary of his past life... Feh. I still intend to write it out in story form but, for now, you all can stare at this summary.... I know it proubly is not very good but, I like it. x-x;;
After you read this, I will have a few notes on Chinese mythology as well. 3nodding
_________________________________________________________
Long, long ago there lived a man by the name of Long Shu.
Long Shu was ruler of all of China.
Now then, the Shu dynasty was not very old at all. Infact, Long Shu was only the second Shu to ever become a ruler...
One day, Long Shu met a beautiful young girl, who he fell in love with at first sight. He began to follow her and talk with her whenever he could.. Eventually, he requested that she become his bride.
The girl (who was a goddess watching over the capital city and Long Shu.. But, the only person who knew this was one of Zan's ansestors, the head preist of the Shrine, Kendei. ) declined his request, wanting to focus more on her duty of watching over him and the city.
Over time she found herself falling in love with Long Shu and she soon agreed to become his bride. They wed four seasons after she agreed to marry him.
Almost a year later, the goddess found herself giving birth. She gave birth to two children, a little girl (who she never named.), and a little boy, who Long Shu had named Xao Shu. The goddess also found that she was dying. The work of having given birth to a mortal's children had just been too much for her to handle. Before she died, the goddess transfered her 'powers' to her daughter. As soon as she finished, she died and she was burried underneathe the cherry blossem tree behind the Shrine.
Four days after the death of the goddess, the daughter dissapered and was never heard from again.
Long Shu, in the mean time, was searching for someone to feed Xao Shu. He found someone and Xao Shu survived.
On the Eleventh day after the death of the goddess, a mysterious cry shot through the air, coming from behind the shrine. Kendei, the head preist of the Temple of the Stars (Also known as the Temple of the Heavens or the Gateway to the Skies.) went around to the back of the shrine to see what all the noise was about. Underneathe the cherry blossem tree he found a small lion cub, rolling about and kicking, wailing and screaming. Upon the lion's back was a pair of gigantic black wings. A smile had played across Kendei's face as he picked the cub up. The lion was clearly a gift from the gods, for he resembled the statue infront of the temple.
Kendei immedietly went to discuss his finding with his old friend, Long Shu. They both agreed that this was indeed a gift from above and it was also agreed that the cub would remain at the shrine with Kendei....
Kendei, who was fond of other cultures and languages, named the lion Simba, after the swahilian word for lion.
The time flew by and soon Xao Shu and Simba were young children. The two had both become very good friends and they were often rushing about the palace causing trouble (which usually involved the tripping of a servent or the slipping of a rat within one of the maids' drawers.). They also became obsessed with swords.. (Simba was more fond of charm cards and exorsism... )
During this time period a war was waging between the demon lord, Eclipse, and the human race.
Long Shu and Kendei had been spending countless hours plotting, trying to figure a way to rid the world of the demon.
Eclipse, himself, became annoyed by the attempts of Kendei and Long Shu to kill him. The demon placed a curse upon the capital city.......
Every full moon an eriee red fog would decend upon the city. Monsters would rush in and barge into homes, kidnapping children and slaughtering families. (The children were most often little boys. Sons were valued more than Daughters. Don't ask me why. That is just how the culture was....)
Long Shu became vexed over the happenings. Four months had passed since the time the curse had been placed upon the city and his people were crying for help. There was nothing he could do though....
So, Long went to Kendei and the two of them came up with a plan to rid the city of the Demon Lord's Curse... Kendei was going to exorsise the entire city on the next night with a full moon.
Simba had wanted to help Kendei so bad but, Kendei refused. The preist was clearly concerned about the child's safety but, Simba just could not see this. Simba, enraged by the declining of his request, locked himself up within his room in the shrine. He refused to come out until the city had been exorsised.
It took Kendei two tries (almost 2 months) to finally exorsise the city and rid it of the Demon Lord's Curse.
Xao Shu had visited the shrine every day to beg Simba to come out and when the city was finally exorsised, he was the first to greet the lion cub.
Simba was immedietly forced to eat. (Even though he didn't need the food. He had not lost so much as a pound while he was 'locked' away. Every night he would sneak out of his room to raid the food storage when everyone was asleep...)
(This time period was also the time period inwhich the blue liquid light engulfed Xao Shu and Simba and the two of them became deathly ill. This was also caused by the demon lord, Eclipse.... )
Time went by and the demon lord was not seen. Many years of peace followed after the exorsising of the city and Simba and Xao Shu had both become young adolesents, doing what all young men did.... Swooning over cute girls....
One day, a girl wandered into the shrine, begging to speak with Kendei. Simba had been up in the cherry blossem tree when she appered.. He found her rather beautiful and he did exactlly what he felt he should do..... He hit on her.
The girl found it rather amusing and introduced herself as 'Lin'. After a long and flirtatious conversation, Simba finally took Lin to Kendei and allowed them to talk alone.
He never found out what Lin had said to Kendei but, whatever it had been, Kendei had been extremely happy about it....
Lin became a resident of the city, living at the shrine with Simba and Kendei. Many more peaceful months went by and both Xao Shu and Simba found that they had a crush on Lin. They would often fight about who was better for the girl and they were always trying to impress her.
Lin, of course, did not see either one of them as more than a friend. (She did find Simba much more charming than Xao Shu though...)
It was during this time period that the demon lord, Eclipse, reappered and the war started up again. Eclipse, once again, placed a curse upon the capital city.
Every night, rather than every full moon, that eriee red fog would decend upon the city and the monsters would apper. They would barge into any house that did not have a charm card upon the door and would slaughter the families. Simba had started walking about, placing charm cards on every door. He often missed a few and this led him to feeling guilty about the death of the families.....
One day, Simba was sitting high up in the cherry blossem tree, making charm cards. Lin had come up and climbed the tree, sitting next to them and the two teenagers talked and talked while Simba made charm cards.
During the convorsation, Simba asked Lin to become his wife.
Lin found this rather amusing and giggled about it. Simba was a tad angered by her giggling and was about to ask her what was so funny when she kissed him.
She lept from the tree afterwards, rushing off. Simba chased her and they had a nice game of 'catch-me-if-you-can'.....
That night, the fog fell upon the capital once again but, this time something diffrent happened... The monsters appered but, there were twice as many and the spirit of an evil dragon appered... Xao Shu and Long Shu had been unfourtunate enough to be outside that evening and Long Shu was killed by the dragon spirit. Xao Shu escaped but, the boy had lost an arm and was bleeding.
He managed to make his way to Kendei and Kendei stitched the wound and did all he could to keep the young heir alive...
Vowing revenge, Simba armed himself with hundreds of charm cards and a small pendant that Lin had given him. (The pendant was blessed and was said to protect it's wearer from the harm of a dragon.)
He then set off in search of the evil spirit...
It took him 3 days to finally find the dragon and the two of them fought. During battle, one of Simba;s black wings was torn from his back. The dragon had also spat in one of his eyes, blinding the eye. Still, Simba managed to destroy the dragon before the fog lifted...
Simba returned to the shrine, bleeding to death. He found that Xao Shu had perished and he mourned.
Lin comforted him the best that she could....
Kendei knew that the time to act was now.. ...
The very next night, Lin reveled herself as the goddess of the twilight hour. Simba had been rather suprised by this but, Kendei had not. (For Kendei knows all. >3 Fear him. )
They prepared themselves for battle.. Armed with charm cards and pendants..... The red fog decended upon the capital city and the battle began. Simba fought and destroyed as many monsters as he possibly could, as did Kendei and Lin. The three of them managed to exorsise the city...
At the end of the battle, Kendei was severly injured and Simba was well near death. Lin had been about to give her life to Simba when the lion stopped her. He begged for her to save Kendei and after a short arguement... She agreed to do it. The goddess sacrificed her life so that Kendei could live...
Simba had dragged himself back to the cherry blossem tree and he had bled to death there....
Lin's soul returned to the heavens and that is where she remains to this very day.
Kendei became the ruler of China (Long Shu had written that Kendei would become ruler if he and Xao Shu ever died...) and he had four children. Three daughters and a son.......
The memory of Lin never died out, Kendei made sure of that... But, the memory of Simba's brave acts and his kindness was lost forever the moment Kendei passed away.. For Kendei, had chosen to keep the memory of his beloved 'child' to himself..............
(The only remaining information of Simba's exsistance was Long's diary. Kendei had placed the diary in a box and had sealed it away in the shrine though.. So, it was not found until the present day. Zan had been cleaning out his attic when he came across and old trunk and opened it and that was where he found Long Shu's diary. <3')
THE END! *sparkle*

Chinese Mythology notes:
1.) Statues of lions were often placed in gardens and other places to ward off evil spirits and demons. They were said to have been one of the strongest creatures in all of chinese mythology (for they were the creatures who did most of the fighting....)
And.....
2.) Dragons were a symbol of royalty and bravery. How can one by evil, you ask?
An evil ruler has an evil spirit.. The dragon in Simba's story was the spirit of a dead lord who had sold himself to demons. domokun buwahahahaha.....
That's all the notes I am putting there.... <3; Because.. That is really all you need to know........
At long last, I revel this to you all. It is a summary of his past life... Feh. I still intend to write it out in story form but, for now, you all can stare at this summary.... I know it proubly is not very good but, I like it. x-x;;

*Zan had fallen asleep on the couch, woken up late and gotten dressed, after taking his morning shower and eating some breakfast. He had awaken Simba a bit later and gotten him a nice bottle of milk, along with some apple sauce.*
*Zan's house was basically a huge chucky cheese but ten times more enjoyable. The play place from discorvery zone rebuilt in the back room, flying handles crashing into the mat included. He had a good number of arcade machines tossed into there, only about 3 but.. that was plenty!
The kitchen was somewhat messy yet somewhat clean. Dirty dishes piled up in the sink but, the counter was spotless. His living room was sparsly furnished. There was only a couch, a T.V set and a shelf of videos. That was the house of Zanius.*
*Simba had been observing Zan cautiously, watching his every movement tentivly. It was as if they were suppose to be expecting something. The way Zan moved and talked to himself clearly stated that! One moment Zan would be picking up the remote to set on the table and the next he would be dusting something off. Simba only wished that he knew what had him moving like this. The little lion shrugged, gnawing on his heartless 'plushie'. The heartless plushie's antennas twitched a little, it's big yellow eyes blinking. How odd... a blinking plushie?! The cub didn't even notice it. He just went on with his gnawing of the toy's head.*

((Arg, sorry about being kinda late, my mom isn't feeling good and I had
to take care of her for a while.))
Gabo made his way to Zan's house, Kenji was in his arms, tucked away in his warm blanket.
The red-headed boy grined intently and took a deep breath, before making a destintive sharp knock at Zan's door.
He looked down at Kenji, wearing the same goofy grin. "This is your first play date, Kenji. Are you excited?"
Kenji looked up at his 'father', at bit confused.
What could have him so excited?
Taking a look around, the young fox took delight in that fact that he'd never been here before.
Looking towards the door infront of him, he focused all his attention on it. What could be behind it that made his dad so happy?
((I tryed to make this post not screen streaching. X_X))

(( sweatdrop hehe. ))
*Zan had finished cleaning up everything that needed to be clean. He heard the knock upon the door and hobbled over, unlocking and opening the door.*"Oh! Hey!" *He laughed a tad sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head*"C'mon in Gabo, Kenji."
*Simba's head had instinctivly turned to gaze at the two. He recognized them somewhat but it was difficult for him to place exactlly who they were..*

"Thank you, for inviting us, I mean." Gabo steped inside Zan's house, looking around he giggled slightly. "I see that you've done a bit of redecorating...It looks good! Is it for Simba, or you?"
He set Keji down on the floor, so he could have a look around for him self, and get use to the new surroundings.
Kenji blinked, looking up at his father he held his hands up in the air, indecating that he wanted to be picked up again. But then he soon forgot all about Gabo, he was much to intrested in Zan's house. Kenji looked around some more, spotting Simba and letting out a unexpected squeeling noise.

*Simba made his little roaring noises, waving both of his arms at Kenji and giggling to himself mostly*
*Zan blushed bright pink, scratching the back of his neck*"Eh. A little of both! You know me.. I'm a giant kid!"

Kenji grined, bouncing up and down slightly, while claping his hands together and making more happy sounds.
Gabo nudged Zan in the side playfuly. "Zan, you're more of a big baby, not a giant kid." He picked up Kenji, and walked over to Simba, setting Kenji down next to him. "Kenji can crawl yet, but I think he will soon...Or maybe Simba is just a fast learner?"
