Bunnix are a very special kind of pet -- they are not just a picture to put in your sig. When you adopt a baby Bunnix, you will have to feed it, play with it, and care for it in various ways. You will be rewarded as your Bunnix grows and develops into a unique creature, with a personality and appearance all its own.

There are two seperate images that come with an adopted Bunnix. The first is a pixel image of your Bunnix in the home you picked out for it.

You also get a portrait of your Bunnix, with a description of its personality. This image will change only when something important happens, such as graduating to a new life stage.

The Stats:

age: Bunnix go through five stages in their lifetime. Baby Bunnix are very small, and all look the same: girls are pink, and boys are blue. Around the age of seven days, a Bunnix will become a juvenile. Juvenile Bunnix are slightly larger than babies, and have started to differentiate in colour and shape. At this age your Bunnix may discover some magical abilities, or other special skills. Somewhere around the age of 28 days, a Bunnix becomes a full-fledged adult. Each adult Bunnix is quite different from any other. Adult Bunnix are also able to breed. After about three months of adulthood, the Bunnix will become an elder. It will not be quite so strong anymore, and may require medicine more often. If it's costing you too much gold, you might want to have it euthanized (how terrible!). A Bunnix will remain an elder for an indeterminate amount of time, depending on how well you look after it. When your Bunnix does die, it will become a ghost.


Temperment: The temperment score is on a scale of 0 - 20 and can be changed by roleplaying with your Bunnix, or with an expensive visit to the Shrink for mood altering drugs (may have unpleasant side-effects). A temperment score of 10 is neutral. Bunnix with more than 10 are pleasant and friendly, and Bunnix with less are shy and disagreeable, or even violent.

Intelligence: Not all Bunnix are born equal. Some can learn and improve their intelligence score, while others just can't seem to get a clue. The intelligence score is also on a scale of 0 - 20.

Strength: A number between 0 and 20 represents your Bunnix's strength. Most Bunnix are not naturally very strong, but they can train or take potions to improve.

Magic: Some Bunnix are blessed with special magical abilities. Their power is rated on a scale of 0 - 20 and may be limited to specific areas. Unfortunately, their is no way to make a non-magical Bunnix aquire magical ability.

Family: If you have bred your Bunnix, or if its parents are known, its relatives will be listed here.

How to adopt:

If you want to adopt one of these Bunnix, post a reply in this thread with the number and gender of the Bunnix you wish to adopt, and your answers to the following questions:

• why would you make a good owner for this Bunnix?
  
• how many days in a week do you visit Gaia?
  
• are you willing to roleplay with your Bunnix or keep a journal for it?
  

If you are accepted, I will let you know via PM. You can then name your Bunnix and choose a home for it to live in, and send a trade to pay for it.

Hats cost 50 gold. Wouldn't your baby Bunnix look cute wearing a bonnet, cowboy, or top hat?

Buy a Rocking Horse for 100 gold.

Buy a Teddybear for 50 gold.

This bed costs 50 gold and is just the right size for a baby Bunnix.

Wings:

Angelic wings cost 100 gold, and will appear in both your Bunnix's home image, and its Portrait.

Nightmare wings cost 100 gold, and will appear in both your Bunnix's home image, and its Portrait.
