Mimi's Adventures - #1

Yesterday was a special day for Mimi and myself, it was the day I adopted her.

I was so excited to learn I was receiving a Bunnix of my very own, when Louhi handed me my new baby I was practically bursting. Staring deep into those big bright eyes, I just knew we'd be friends forever. At first when I noticed she wasn't making a peep I was a little worried, but Louhi assured me Mimi was normal in all respects execpt she couldn't speak. Being so happy that Mimi had come into my little Gaian life, I was not concerned whatsoever with this discovery. To tell you the truth, I think Mimi and I have a sort of .. understanding. It doesn't seem to be hard to know what she's thinking. Therefore, I don't think this no talking business will be a problem at all. This is actually the reason why I'm presently writing in Mimi's journal. I'm not quite sure if she can write yet, but no matter, I don't mind writing her entries for her.

So this entry begins the tale of Mimi the Bunnix ...

*Peeks over at Mimi sleeping and notices she isn't making a sound*

"Wow, she's silent in her sleep too. I think we'll do a little shopping tomorrow. Time for me to hit the hay too."

Mimi's Adventures - #2

Well, Mimi has been spending a lot of time recently at the Bunnix Nursery. I've been popping in and out to check on her from time to time and am always surprised at what she's doing. Yesterday, she made friends with both Blane and Sugar. I was very proud of her, the not speaking condition isn't holding her back at all. Today I snuck up behind her to see what she was drawing at the coloring table, and noticed she was trying to draw one of the other boy Bunnix at the nursery. I believe his name is Mooki and I think Mimi has a crush on him. I haven't asked her yet, but I'm fairly certain. Isn't that cute?! Mimi's got her first crush. I just hope she doesn't get hurt.

*Trysk takes a small piece of paper out of her pocket and unfolds it. She then picks up the glue stick on the table and adds some to the back of the picture. Opening the purple journal, she flips to an empty page and places the paper inside*

"There we go. I know I said I'd put this on the fridge, but I think we'll keep this drawing here instead for safe keeping."

Mimi's Adventures - #3

Well, Mimi finished her drawing of Mooki. I've glued it in the journal so we don't loose it. I've also assured her I will not tell anyone her secret, and I think she is happy for that. That's all for now.

Mimi's Adventures - #4

Mimi has grown up so much in the past week. It's hard to believe she was my little wee baby just a few days ago. I've grown very attached to her and I think she feels the same way about me.

Now that she has grown into a lovely Bunnix adolescent, I can't help but feel pride. She's become quite a good artist and has kept a couple good friends from the nursery. Tomorrow we'll be signing her up for Bunnix High, I wish her the best of luck with her studies (especially her magic abilities test). After, I think we'll also visit the new gym and take a strole around the city. I can tell she's very excited!

Mimi's Adventures - #5

Oh my goodness! Mimi and I recieved a letter from Mr. Cuddlesworth this afternoon stating that Mimi has been accepted into art AND magic classes. Mimi is SO excited. She's currently hopping around the room as I write this.

*Mimi stops hopping and takes a peek at what Trysk is writing. She grabs the pen from her and begins to write ...*

I sure AM excited! Tomorrow is my first day of classes. I have to be there at 8:00am. Eek! I like to sleep in. Oh well.

Trysk and I went to the art store today to get some supplies. I heard a lot of other Bunnix talking about joining art today, so that class will probably be big. I also heard someone talking about how Beau's owner hasn't been taking care of him, so he ran away from home. I'm really sad about that.

I wonder if Mooki will be in any of my classes? I haven't seen him around at all lately. I wonder if he's even going to Bunnix High?

Anyway, I should go to bed. It's late!

*Mimi closes the journal and puts it down with the pen. She gives Trysk a big hug goodnight and heads off to bed*

Mimi's Adventures - #6

Well, I started school this past Tuesday and so far I've really enjoyed myself. On the first day, I tripped and fell while walking into art class. How embarrassing! But luckily no one saw but Mrs. Periwinkle I think. That lunch period I signed up for the school newspaper, should be fun. There hasn't been a meeting yet though. So far I've mostly been hanging out by myself. It's hard to talk to other Bunnix when you don't speak. Oh well. I've made friends with a nice boy Bunnix named Lucky, he's very shy I think.

I haven't seen Mooki for a long time and am really losing interest. Out of site, out of mind .. as Trysk would say.

Mimi's Adventures - #7

The big formal dance is this weekend and I'm getting very nervous. Everyone at school can't stop talking about it, some people already have dates. I wonder if anyone will ask me?

Mooki started school a little late I guess. He's in my art class now, so I get to see him everyday. He looks different since Bunnix nursery, even cuter in my opinion. I wonder if he remembers me?

I've been spending a lot of time in the Bunnix City Public Gardens lately. I love the quietness there. So peaceful.

Mimi's Adventures - #8

Ok, if I wasn't confused before, I am now!

Seeing as I had nothing to do this afternoon, I headed back to the school before the dance to help with decorations. While passing the Art class I noticed a note on my desk. Mooki must have left it there yesterday, it's a note asking me to the dance. I almost let out a yelp when I first read it I was so surprised. I didn't think he even knew who I was. But now I have a big problem because I got a note from Lucky last night asking me to the dance too!

I haven't answered either of them yet. I'm still not sure what to do. I think I'll consult Trysk about this one.
