June 2nd

Today I went to pick Chloe up from the adoption center. She seemed excited to be going to a new home. I bought her some little kitty PJ's to keep her warm in cold Colorado, and a teddy bear so she wouldn't miss the her friends so much. She seemed fascinated by all the sights on the long drive home. On the way we stopped and bought a healthy supply of carrots, and as a surprise I thought a cake would be nice to celebrate the day! I don't want her to feel sad about leaving behind all that she has known. Her little eyes lit up when she saw the cake! I think we are going to get along just fine!

June 4th

Chloe seems to be adjusting to life at her new home fairly well. She has her own room that I decorated with cabbage wallpaper and a tiny throne going with the cabbages and kings theme. We read some of Alice In Wonderland and she seemed to especially like the march hare and is asking for a tea party. So today as a surprise I am going to take her shopping for her own tea set. I might even buy teddy a fancy hat. I am probably spoiling her, but it's hard not to.

After returning from out shopping trip, Chloe was thrilled with her new tea set, but a bit concerned that there were place settings for 4 that came with the tea set, and only three of us.......so we decided to make a snowbunny and invite it to tea!

Well Chloe, for some reason all the other bunnix's got something nice to wear............but since you didn't we shall have to go shopping I suppose! I think something in a nice shade to match your fur! It looks like you will be ready to start school soon, and we need a nice wardrobe for that! *trying to pin down the squirming Chloe who doesn't want to be measured for clothes*

I sent Chloe a postcard from Africa this afternoon telling her I will be home Friday. I was a little worried about her being alone, but it seems she is doing fine after missing the first day of school. All in all she is a very responsible little bunnix! She drew some pictures of africa and a nice carrot. I think she is enjoying school life and is hoping to try out for cheerleader. I am so proud of her biggrin
