You enter into a series of caverns after encountering a terrible mountain storm. Scared and huddling from the cold, you fail to notice that a pair of golden amber eyes is watching you intently. Taking a step forward, the creature hisses out a warning. She is the color of violets in the meadows with gold specks spattering her fur. Behind her is a small hatchling hiding behind her legs.
"Be warned where you step and take with you only your memories of this place."

 ABOUT KOREKore was born in the mountains to the west of the valley. She was born to one of the main hunters in the clan and a child tender. Before she was born, her parents consulted the elders and the shaman and were told that she would be born a he. But that was not the case and Kore's father was ashamed at having a daughter. Her mother, a gentle soul, named her simply calling her Kore (pronounced Koh-re) meaning daughter or maiden.
Still, Kore began training with the elders and shaman to take her rightful place in the clan. Being left in the valley to learn each day, Kore made several important friends-Kiyoshi and Calamity. Prefering to spend more time in the vally than the mountains, her elders forbid her to seek out the valley clan. Angry, Kore disowned the clan and left to wander the mountains where she discovered her current teacher, a unusual griff called Aleera. Since then, she has not seen Kiyo or Calamity much but has spent time with one called Heliacle.
In Heliacle, she finds a kindred spirit whose mind and heart soar to reach the skies. Kore also finds that spending time with Heliacle makes her feel special. Not to long ago, during a bad summer storm, Kore discovered a strange egg stuck up in an old willow tree. Following her urges, she has taken the egg under her protection calling him Elathan.
Kore is a very deep spirit who prefers calm and tranquility. She often speaks softly or does not speak at all. Her actions are slow and delibrate, as if each action was preplanned. Kore's mind is as open as her heart as she continues to explore the world around her.

ABOUT ELATHAN
Elathan is a Celtic name for a prince of darkness. He hatched into the world barely minutes before his nest companion, one called Azhor. In fact, he heard the other rattling around in his egg and pecked the shell until sunlight broke through. Though just a hatchling, Elathan is very quiet and shy. It appears like he will allow Azhor to be the leader in this friendship.

The Many Friends and Aquaintances of Kore Kiyoshi: Kiyoshi was Kore's very first friend. They played together and grew up together and are the best of friends. Kore wishes that she did not have to stay away from Kiyo all the time. Kiyo reminds Kore of the starry midnight sky.
She recently found Kiyo after growing into a lithsome adult. The two got into a fight leaving Kore hurt and confused. She wants to tell her best friend of her new love and brother but does not know how to mend the bridge.
Calamity: Kore considers Calamity a friend but finds him to be a little too loud and pushy. She is often more quiet when he is around but is happy that he makes Kiyo happy. Kore hopes that he will turn into a fine adult.Zailan: Kiyo's guardian. He seems polite and nice. He has done a good job taking care of Kiyo. Heliacle: Kore's night time flying buddy. She loves to listen to her dreams and talk with her even though they only have flown together once. A warm fuzzy feeling fills Kore whenever she thinks of Heliacle.
Recently, the two have grown into adults and have admitted their feelings for each other. Not realizing that their love is an unusual one; Kore and Heliacle have pledged their hearts to each other and to their little brothers.Silverwing: Only have seen her from a distance. Does not know too much about her. Aleera: This is the one who has taken Kore in and helped her find her place in the world. She is Kore's teacher and mentor; they both come from a similar background and prefer quiet over chatter. It is like they can almost read each other's minds. Kore hopes to be accepted into Aleera's clan.

The Many Friends and Aquaitances of Elathan Big Brother (Azhor): Elathan helped Azhor hatch out of his egg. The hatchling is much louder and more outgoing than himself; he is okay with letting Big Brother take charge and speak for him.Kore: She calls herself his Big Sister. And he got a warm fuzzy feeling when she rubbed him with her cheek.

TIMELINE This is the time line of Kore and Elathan since the RPs are not listed in order at the moment. Please remember this is how everything would be taking place in 'griff time. 1. Kore is Hatched! Rejected by her father, she is immediately tossed into training.2. She is left to explore the valley; Kore meets Kiyoshi. 3. Kore and Kiyoshi meet Calamity. They play and Kore can tell Calamity likes Kiyoshi.4. Kore grows and meets up with Kiyoshi. The two race and Kiyo is hurt; Kore meets Zailan. 5. Kore suddenly leaves the valley; returning home she is told the mountain clan or the valley. She chooses the valley and runs away.6. Kore meets a strange griff called Aleera. She learns how to fly and hunt. On a midnight flight, she meets Heliacle. 7. Kore learns much from Aleera; she finds Elathan during a bad storm. Kore and Heliacle start to spend much time together.8. Kore grows along with Heliacle. She realizes slowly that her feelings are turning to love. Heliacle has an egg as well called Azhor. The four head to the mountains. 9. Kore has her mating flight and is won over completely by Heliacle. She pledges her heart to her new mate. They go back to watch over the eggs.10. Elathan and Azhor hatch. Kore does not realize that she begins to grow heavy with eggs.
