Hey guys! What's up? We need more people. Tell your friends, and tell them to tell their friends. It'll be fun, once we get them. At the moment, I'm pretty sure all the current members are more or less familiar with each other. But once newbies start coming in, hopefully this'll be the first place they want to look. Maybe.
Anyway, here's where introductions go. Just so I don't have to do this later on... Hey, everybody! I'm this guild's loveable Captain, Epic Irony! I go by Epic, Irony, or Trace if we're cool enough. I'm a dork, geek, nerd, musician, writer, weirdo, and overall just awesome. In the marching band at my school, have been since Freshman year of High School. Currently in my freshman year of college. So yeah. Me in a nutshell, I guess.

Hai! I'm Oncaro; I accepted your request to join. As soon as I saw you were a fan of Blue Lanterns, I was all: *SQUEE!!* The Lantern mythos is actually what got me into comics and the GLs are probably some of my favorite heroes, but the Blue Lanterns are my favorite. I even made a Blue Lantern character that I've used in other guilds.

Saint Walker is my hero! I grew up listening to my dad and uncle talk comics, but it's the Blue Lanterns that got me back into comics and superheroes. What can I say, there's just something wonderful about the genre that can't be explained.

I know, right? Walker is boss... In this guild, I dunno if you've seen yet, but one of my characters is actually heavily based on the abilities of the Golden Age GL, Alan Scott. He doesn't use a ring or anything though. I'm interested to see what you can come up with, since we do original superheroes for this guild and all.

I did see. Out of habit the first thing I do before I join a guild or rp is look at the cast of characters and rules on creation. Now I don't want to jump ahead of myself and fill my three slots already, but tentatively here's what I have in mind for my three (and feedback is requested): 1. Rerolling of an OC Dylan Okamoto. Think Blue Lantern meets Lucy in the Sky. She's suppose to be a rookie hero who has a lot to learn. I'm not sure if her having a family will fit in well or not. I tend to rely heavily on NPCs to help flesh out my characters. 2. Walter Genovese (kudos if you get the reference) aka John Doe. He's a badass normal and a former Marine. 3. Saving this slot for a villain. Count on him or her being either an anti-villain and/or affably evil. I am terrible at playing Complete Monsters so when I do play villains they have to have morals to a degree. With Dylan she normally would have a step-brother who rolls with the villains as their techno wizard. I'm not sure if the family will fit in well in this setting.

I do,but as an aspiring writer I've found that it helps me tremendously with writing fiction; which I suppose is part of it's purpose, actually. Anyways, you've just won 9001 Awesome Points (for yourself, not your characters). As if loving the Blue Lanterns wasn't enough for me! xD

Well howdy dere! I'm Praxius, but you'll be calling me Prax any time now... I just know it... it's like frickin' habitual up in here. Anyhow, I'm sort of crew here, and I just wanted to say "Ey gurl" and offer some feedback that you so kindly asked for: 1. BEAUTIFUL. I love people who've had characters fleshed out like that, as they tend to be deeper than one-offs. Can't wait to see her here, and maybe get her to join the in-the-works superhero collective. 2. Badass Normals are always good, especially since people do so love their superpowers most of the time. 3. The currently recruiting villain collective, the Primarch, is a pretty solid basis of evil, so I don't know how an affably evil/anti-villain would serve there... but, no one said everyone had to be a part of a group, now did they? I'd just like to say you get a few more Awesome Points, because I can, and also... WHAT ABOUT LARFLEEZE!? Have we forgotten the most avarice-driven fuzzy alien One Man Lantern Corps?

He's not nearly as scary as the Black Lanterns, which in my opinion makes him cool. I actually loved seeing his interactions with the other Lanterns because his motivations were so very different from the other characters.
Thanks for the compliment on Dylan, Prax. What can you guys tell me about Primarch?

You have no idea how happy I am that you asked that... alright, strap in: The Primarch was a pro-New Human, anti-Human group in the world before and during the Third World War. They were founded by a New Human named The Prime who believed Numans to be vastly superior, to the point where he believed human need not exist at all. Primarch was one of the most technologically advanced groups in the world, and made advances in weaponry that the human groups in the world wanted their hands on. During the war, in its twilight days, Primarch compounds were raided by human military groups, and much of their tech was stolen, along with many of their members being killed or imprisoned. Currently, the only true member of the group who still remains is Lady Primarch, who was the Prime's lieutenant, and his current successor. At the moment, she's gathering surviving members of the original collective, as well as finding the technology stolen from the Primarch to improve on the tech she already has. This is sort of an overview, but if you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Technopath, nice. So I might be able to roll an Affably Evil in with the "Death to all Normals" goal. Someone who says it's nothing personal, just evolutionary business. I'm thinking someone with thermokenetic powers to go both hot and cold. I'll have more on this guy later, but am so tempted to call him Joe Smiley. Oncaro will it bother you if I use Dylan in this game with her having similar powers? Now she is originally a solar based psionic heroine who draws from Saule, the Lithuanian Sun Goddess. If I take a Marvel gods are extraterrestrials approach do you think we can work something out with a shared origin between Photon and Novaflare/Dylan? Like can he be her mentor or become her mentor through the course of gameplay?
