It began with Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Then Chernobyl and Three Mile Island- and finally with the hole in the ozone layer, the amount of radiation present on Earth became juuuust enough for humans to begin... Mutating.

Small, unnoticed things at first; heterochromia, extra fingers and toes... Then larger things. Arms, legs, even heads. The physical mutations were much less apt to survive... Which left the other mutations.

People with strange powers, able to do things only imagined before. Superheroes, like in the comics. Soon they were a prevalent force in human history, fighting for equality and rights even while some ran around in tights and caused mayhem. But with the world on the edge of another war, and these new 'superheroes' enlisting on any side, the Earth saw just how much potential... And danger... These 'New Humans' had.

After the war, the world rebuilt. New Humans found their place in society as benevolent peace-keepers, stopping everything from average petty criminals to the insane supervillain.

But the world is teetering in the brink of war yet again- the Normals, resentful of being 'oppressed' by the New Humans, have started a revolt, a genocide- a "return to the old ways." And in the typical manner of Murphy's Law- everything that can go wrong, will- as soon as things get violent, the New Humans receive a threatening message from deep space.

"The Scourge is coming. We are Legion. You are next."

Now, between a war with the Normals, an omnicidal extraterrestrial maniac bent on destroying Earth, and even members of their own defecting and becoming supervillains, how will the New Humans- and the Earth itself- fare in the oncoming struggle to survive? And more importantly...

What will you do?
