 It was a mass awakening. It was a simultaneous birth of thousands.
They were new to the world. Innocent creatures with unholy appearances.
The winged shunned them. The flawed hated them.
They were that of nightmares, filled with dreams.
Seeing the hate, and afraid of what it would bring, the unholy creatures built a wall.
Secluding themselves, they learned to live as the angels and people did.
The city aged, as did the people, and the hatred of mothers and fathers turned into the curiosity of children.
The winged, ageless and knowing, warned the children from the demons.
Hate festered once again, as did fear; and the children learned to stay away from the demon's city.
As fearful and hateful as they were, curiosity never left them.
Wanting to lay eyes on these forbidden creatures, a wall could not stop them.
They found ancient tunnels, where trains had once ran, and knew they had found an entrance to the forbidden city.Profiles//// IC

So... the OOC is open, yes?
Do you have any characters you need more than others to start the story? So far I haven't had anything jump out at me.

Yeah it's open...I guess I should've put a hint up.
Well if you want to get involved with the plot I guess, you could make some demon or human child that trying to find out more about the murders. Of course you might have to figure out a connection between your character and the victims. Or...you could be whatever takes your fancy.
I know that feel sis, it's still a weird day for me.

I don't know that I'll have both an angel and a demon, so I might just bring Edward back. Maybe at some point later I can bring in another character.

I just realized that we never really established what years each falling happened- only that it was at the beginning of the century.
I'm only bringing it up because Edward would be counting his age from when he first fell. :/

Okay then how about...2023 and idk 2043? I might bump it to 2193 so that it can seem more believable in the aspect that, anyone who was there for the original fallings are dead, or at least moved away and dieing.

Otay! It'll make the profile thread seem less barren, and make me start my profile most likely. Just gotta find a pic other then that satyr one. Actually...if it's a fictional city, I could probably get away with making it like Newfoundland or sort of island based nation and Essence is the capital...-rubs chin- Yeah then I could just leave the year as it is, and say that the angels fell around...1990 or 2000. Possibly late 80's too.

-smirks- I uh...I never changed the year. I was going to, but I hadn't gotten around to it. That aside, got any ideas for what the island nation should be called, or shall it just remain unknown? Also your thoughts on this pic?

I wouldn't worry about naming it just yet. If something comes to you, then thar ya go. And the pic looks good. biggrin
If he's wanting to hide those horns that could present some difficulties, but yeah he looks fine. ^w^

-Grabs some hair- Ahh I can't decide on how the demon should look. It's either that one or the pic you used for Seven from the original one.
Also something came to me while I waited for it to load. Would the island nation have internet? If they do, how come the demons are...still unsure about what humans actually are? For that matter, wouldn't some demons eventually make a site and what not, revealing their horns?

Feel free to use it. I'm also thinking about using a different picture for Edward- if I find something. >_<
I hadn't really thought about it. I suppose it would be silly for them not to. Since the people wanted to erase evidence that the demons had even existed, I suppose you could figure that their section of the city is cut off so thoroughly from everything else that they've managed to keep their websites secluded to that area.
I don't know, it's sounding silly, but it's the future, so anything is possible, I suppose.
