In order to join this division, you must be prepared to provide me with the following.
Why? Simple enough. Why do you want to join?
Your character's name.
A LINK to your profile
A FULL two paragraph role-play sample. Do NOT half-a** this. Insufficient samples will be deleted, and the poster will be asked to re-write. If the second sample is still insufficient, the poster must then wait at least two weeks, and undergo mentoring for their abilities.
No code will be given for this. Treat it as a test of your abilities, and make me proud.

Why? I greatly enjoy the mythos of Bleach, and squad 12 appeals to my sensibilities more than any other squad.
Character's name Yamaiwa Kenichi

Kenichi began a mild stroll outside the labs. Being outside appealed to him. Before long, he found a good stone, one not bigger than his palm, and he chuckled softly. Despite his size, he was very gentle with it while the stone sat in his hand. Without thinking, he began to walk through to the nearby field. Finding a spot that was suitably large and grassy, he plopped down with an audible thud. Pulling out his tools, he began to work on the rock. Carving a statue out of this would take a long time, but without a better choice, he began to etch something on the stone. His memories of life in the living world are fading quickly, but he still remembers how much this relaxed him.
Being huge and 'misshapen,' somebody back in the academy looked up some lore from far away. Evidently there was an ancient culture that worked heavily with stone and carving called 'Greece.' In that culture, they had a specific god just for creation and making weapons or tools. One day the name was tossed out after class, and as it was about creation and fit him, Kenichi gladly accepted the nickname of Hephaestus. Of course, that was a bit long, so many just shortened it to 'Heph.' While waiting for his application to come through, the gentle man just sat in his field, carving a stone to have a flat side, and opposite it, the flower representing squad 12. At best this is a paperweight, but still, it might show his attention to detail. "Can't hurt to come bearing gifts."

Accepted. ^_^
But I would recommend using "Kitaeru" instead of "Fo-ji" for your zanpakutou's name. Fo-ji is katakana, rather than kanji, so it's not true japanese. Tis entirely up to you though. It's also important to note that the translation, if one used "Ikazuchi Kitaeru" instead, would read more like "Forged Thunder", so if you don't like that version, by all means stick with the one you have. 3nodding
Also, don't forget to post your profile in the proper section, and meet me in Lab C. ^_^

→Why?In the past, my character was in the 3rd squad, however, through roleplaying there, I found that he truly wasn't fit to do so. He did not like fighting, and he did not want to heal, so he decided that 12th squad was better fitted for him. He could use his imagination in better ways that did not involve pleasing his captain in odd ways or killing someone. →Character NameRin Seishou (Note, Seishou is not a surname. It is simply an added on name, and he has no memory of as to how it came to be. The only true name he actually has or knows is Rin (though people call him Rinny.) →Rin Seishou→Roleplaying SampleIt was a rather simple concept, really. One that many had thought of it, more as a joke though, and no one would ever think to actually create it. It was now his pride and joy. The sleek white cover, the style of the case, and how small the chips were inside of it. It would be unveiled to his captain soon, but not yet. It had to be tested. Rin lowered his finger in a very dramatic manner to the red button, which would open the air proof glass that kept the device safe. Steam seemed to roll out upon pressing it, which was actually just made to come out of small hole under the glass for added dramatic effect upon releasing it. He reached his hand towards it slowly, picking up the less than an inch wide square chip-like object. There was some form of a picture on it with ineligible writing on it. It was a simple sticker he made as he did not hire an artist yet. Not until it was mass produced. Not until it was mass produced.
Rin tip toed over to his desk, where many game systems were lying across the table. They were definitely part of his work. Sometimes. Okay, very rarely. But in this case, it was. He pressed yet another red button, unveiling a game system which was relatively hard to obtain at the time. It was a simple orb with a diameter of hardly 4 inches. In the center was a slot for the chip. The wannabe scientist delicately entered the chip into the slot, trying not to scream in joy as it started to power up. When it started to glow blue, five indented platforms rose from it, fit perfectly for fingers. Rin placed his hands on these and closed his eyes.
When he opened them, he seemed to be in a completely other universe, a very beautiful one. Surrounding him was something of a race track with a large cheering crowd. Over to the right, a familiar captain walked up, wearing his red shinigami captain attire. It was the Soutaicho, Fefnir. He had a motorcycle behind him, a sleek red Kawasaki motorcycle. A holo screen rested on top of it, filled with buttons. Behind Rin was the same, but Purple. Fefnir swung his right arm out, pointing his index finger in a very obnoxious matter. In a loud fashion, he yelled, "It's time to B-b-b-bankai on Motorcycles!" Rin screamed in joy when he realized that his game worked. Across the stadium, the screens lit up with the name of the game. "Bleach. Bankai on Motorcycles."

My inexperience with the Japanese language meant my translations were limited to online free services. Your edit is quite nice, and the adjustments are made to my profile. "Thunder Forge" is equally effective in this case to "Forged Thunder." Thank you for the suggestion.

Why? I would like to join because I love science and working with poisons and in the same enivironment as both kisuke and Mayuri I could only hope that I would be able to come even close to their wonderful examples ^.^ Hagore Idoru http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=20190087In this example I will be playing the part of both Idoru and the unnamed arrancar. ^.^ The garganta created by Kisuke opened at the gates of Hueco Mundo as Idoru stepped out, his hair flowing in the wind, he smiled "What a beautiful place, I am sure their will be a world of new specimen here" he whispered to himself. Idoru looked at the gate before sliding it opened and walking in. He walked in just in time to see an arrancar staring in his direction, it's mask on the upper right corner of it's face, black hair flowing below his shoulders and a relatively plain outfit consisting of a white haori no shirt below and a white hakama being held in with a black belt. "Huh, listen I don't have much time but I supose I can kill you quickly, but I only have an hour" Idoru argued with himself, the answer appearing to be that he would fight the arrancar. Before the arrancar could respond Idoru was already behind him , drawing his zanpaktou from his sheath as he sliced at the arrancar, all in one fluid motion. The arrancar moved back saving himself slightly only getting a small cut on his right arm. "Hmph, do you think you can kill me with tactics such as that!" The arrancar, clearly frustrated, shouted. The arrancar had alread sonidoed behind Idoru and in the same fluid motion Idoru had just used the arrancar sliced at him as he drew his blade. With a small sigh Idoru was already gone and had appeared behind him, now hunching in a corner, he was, what appeared to the arrancar as laughing. The arrancar jumped straight forward, in a stabbing motion at his opponent but just as the tip of his zanpaktou reached his opponent he fell, motionless. Idoru stood up, laughing more "Hmm how interesting, it worked even better than expected, you are parylized, and know you aren't going to die, from the poison." Idoru was now pulling up his blade in a motion of stabbing then in one motion he pulled the blade mercelessly down onto his fallen opponent, killing him instantely. "Hmph, people think that a single scratch won't have any meaning, but in my case it will end the battle."

Character Name: Ryuk Serra
Profile
RP Sample
So many subjects, so little time. Ryuk sat atop a decently large building in the living world, looking out over a street where he saw numerous Hollow lurking about. While most of them were simple fodder, they had been gathered there by a single piece of Bait Ryuk had aquired in the Labs of his division. Smirking underneath his mask, Ryuk quickly dropped from the building, making sure to keep silent as he landed. he was simply here for research, not for actual combat. If he were spotted by the Subject, he would be doomed. Well, with his reiatsu amount next to the numerous hollow, he would have been a simple snack. Nothing to bother over. Keeping his small kodachi strapped to his lower waist, Ryuk crept up and peered over the bushes he had hopped by, watching the hollow as they gathered around. With a simple change in the reiatsu in the area, Ryuk knew that the Subject had come.
It was quite a large hollow, it's head taking up most of it's body. It was a purple color, with long arms, and small legs. How it kept itself up was a mystery. But then again, Ryuk wasn't here to see why the hollow was able to move. No, it had a much more interesting ability that Ryuk was looking into. When the single Subject moved into the group of hollow, all hell broke loose, as it bit into another Hollow's arm, a large ogre-ish hollow with barely any mask. With the bite, the hollow's arm seemed to bubble, as the purple hollow's skin quickly merged with the other, absorbing it into it's body and quickly moving among the others. There was no blood. Within minutes, the single hollow had absorbed the others, it's body bubbling with the new energy, finally settling. How did it do that? That was what Ryuk wanted to find out. Since he had seen it first hand, he would have to come up with a reason as to how it was able to do that. He needed to get to the lab. Hiding his reiatsu, Ryuk quickly sped away from the hollow. He had gotten all that he needed.

Why? Squad 12 is where I started my bleach rping career. Plus it sounded like this squad was somewhat active.
Character Name: Kiwischima Moratomi
Profile
RP Sample
Koda is different from his fellow projects, he can actually remember being in a blade for a long time. Koda was a faithful spirit who served alongside a Kenpachi for nearly four hundred years. With two projects successful the Central 46 got daring with another one of there theories, attempting to combine the captain's control and skill with the Spirit's raw power they made something more than they expected. They created there perfect candidate for taking out Jyote and leading the new group. The natural level of intelligence and just pure leadership ability was unmatched, his personal control was so high he could resist even dying when there was no other option. It seemed as if he was a perfect replacement, he had all the skills, knowledge, and even the astute aura necessary to define a perfect leader.
What they didn't know was that there was a limit to how much power you could place inside one vessel. The first thing to start cracking was his memory, he began forgetting basic things such as names and places. Then slowly his speech systems began to fail and he started associating his tutors with enemies and began lashing out whenever they were harsh on him. Trying to figure out a way to stabilize his deteriorating condition they implanted a regenerative Hollow's cells and they stabilized his mind's deterioration. Unfortunately his mind was already damaged and it couldn't be repaired, as the Central 46 continued to toss him to the side they noticed he couldn't be gotten rid of. Every time they pitted him against experiments that were sound he eradicated them with ease.
As he continued to be subjugated to tests and experiments they found that the mental conditions were just ways for his mind to cope with his power. Koda suffered from severe physical tremors do to the experimental nature in which he was given a body, he doesn't feel natural in it and the Tremors are his spirit's way of lashing out from the inside. Koda began talking like a simpleton all the time, but still remained very much aware of his training and skill with weapons. Being aloud to meet the other subjects it was easy to see what was his current problem, he immediately warmed up to the women. He actually revered them as if they drove the universe around him. In future experiments as long as one was around Koda was easy to handle and very obedient.
The hollow nature that had been implanted long ago reared it's ugly head when the Central 46 decided one of the female experiments was no longer useful. Koda slaughtered four scientists and three guards before he was subdued, Koda had a violent side lurking deep beneath and the key was women. Koda has even snapped at his allies when they speak too loudly to a women, he is like an attack dog on a short leash. You never know when he will strike so it is best to keep your mouth tight around him if you are in mixed company.
There is only one thing to be more afraid of when he is about and that is if he has a mental lapse. From time to time, usually when he is concentrating too hard, he slips into an old memory. Almost hallucinogenic Koda forgets everything around him and lives out the short life of the memory until it runs the course and he comes back to consciousness. On a rare occasion he will drop into a combat memory and he will begin fighting invisible opponents. It's more collateral damage that you have to worry about, unless you resemble anyone in the memory.

Some grammar and punctuation problems.. but nothing that major. I am wondering whether you've recycled this, or just wanted something different for a join request.. but that's rather redundant.
And I sent you a PM about your profile. Once this has been resolved.. you're in.

Why do you want to Join: Well I've kind of given a lot of folks a bad impression and I would like to reverse that. Kusari was always meant to be an a**, so I don't think I could do it through him, and Hiroko is the only active member of squad six, and thats actually saying alot as that squad only has four members and two of them haven't posted since October. Anyways, I think that if I came to this squad I would get a chance to roleplay with Hiroko and prove to people that I'm not a total a** IC while I work on not being an a** in the OOC. And I think that with an active Captain and Vice Captain, and the fact that Mirouni has always been no-nonsense and recognizes people for who they are and not what they've done, well I think this is the best place ... What is your characters name: Hiroko Kurojuu What is your characters Quest: I seek the Holy Grail What is your favorite color: Blue. NO Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!Profile Link: Kurojuu, HirokoRoleplay Sample: Hirok entered the secluded garden and slowly made his way to a bench on the far side from the entrance. He was still crying from when he had left the party, but the tears were beginning to fade. All he wanted was a little bit of recognition for what he had done, an attaboy, a good game, even just a simple congratulations. Only one person had even come close to giving him that kind of kindness was Lady Hinata. Maybe he should have followed her to squad ten instead of going out on his own, but switching squads once had brought enough hatred his way, that he dare not do it again unless asked. And so Hiroko Kurojuu, permanently unseated shinigami, sat on his bench and sulked, wallowing in the misery that he had brought unto himself. In some sick demented way he had gotten what he wanted though, he was being recognized for his actions, even if that recognition was the hatred of half the captains in the sereitei. Hiroko was sure that they would disseminate their hatred through their squads and eventually the entire seireitei would come raining down on him with pitchforks and fire as the armies of the dead came to drag him away for betraying his loyalty to squad thirteen. Pish posh. The only detrimental damage that he had done here was to forfeit the chances of him succeeding in those squads, but squad six needed support a hell of a lot more than squad thirteen did. Even with Captain MockaDash gone things operated smoothly under Lady Hinata, and when she left, things still operated, though not as smoothly, under Alder, and when Alder disappeared Hiroko still stayed strong. Hiroko's heart may still be with squad thirteen, and more accurately Lady Hinata, but squad six needed somebody like him to help get it up and running. Even if he didn't have rank he had spirit, and he could drive it home that he could prosper here. If he ever met the captain ... This brought a whole new fear to him though, what if the captain of this squad hated him too? Like all the other captains. What if he took pleasure in ignoring Hiroko and making him as miserable as possible. And the Vice Captain too, she seemed nice enough, but what if she tried to kill him in his sleep with a homemade scarf. Hiroko's hand went to his throat as he swallowed and imagined the Vice-Captain strangling him. It was strangely erotic, yet morbid, and altogether terrifying. Come to think of it he had even less of a relationship with this chain of command than he did with the last one. Lame. His hand slid up his face as his other met it and he buried his face in them. He had made a terrible mistake, and now karma was repaying him for his greed. Tears began to run once again as he thought about how much better off he would have been if only he had stayed in squad thirteen. The new captain seemed nice. He could have tolerated having a nice captain that was actively engaged in things at the cost of going a few more months unnoticed. Instead he transferred into a dead squad. It was as if death was following Hiro, and part of him wanted to turn around and embrace it.
