I had an idea. Perhaps, since part of the idea of the subforums is to actually move a bulk of the conversations and topics to them, it might be a good idea to have a place on the main page where people can announce new threads. I know I get tired of looking through all the subforums for something new.
And I can even start it off! blaugh I posted a new thread in the Characters (etc...) subforum about some of the major players and loose plot points in the story I'm from, loosely referred to as TomK. So go and read it. Those of you who might have known my former incarnations may be surprised to find how much I've changed.
