Rules
1. Read entire front page. Doubt most would do so, but it's a pleasant thought <3
2. Don't steal art, claim another's pet as your own etc. Simply just don't steal.
3. No Whining / Advertising / Begging / Spamming etc. It's annoying, don't do it.
4. Please save pet to your own server.
5. Pets, items, ANYTHING you buy from this shop can never be refunded or resold in any way. It's happened before and without my knowledge, I'm still a bit peeved about it >.<;;;
6. Even after you buy a pet, I still retain the right to use its image (for banners, samples etc.) Of course I won't ever resell your pet.
7. I reserve right to change rules without notice. >.>;

Story
Legend tells of a mystical garden, one where flowers blossomed everywhere and trees were small copies of their giant kin. You may know them better as bonsai trees. At the time, the art of bonsai was practically unheard of and what’s more, this garden lay untouched by human hands. Time passed and humans finally came and how they wondered at this phenomenon. They saw it as a blessing and built a splendid temple around it.
But time goes on. The temple is now but a shadow of its former glory, hidden in a forest of steel and cement. Yet in this world of skyscrapers and cities, the garden has endured.
One fortuitous day, I overheard some people whisper that a certain old temple was haunted. Curious as I am, I immediately went to investigate. Finally coming upon the decadent place, I went to venture inside. Surprisingly, it was not as empty as I’d hoped, for a withered, old man popped out from behind a corner and gave me a heartfelt smile. His hands were gesturing for me to come closer. I couldn’t help but think ‘ghost?’ but returning the smile, decided to follow him. The man paced like a turtle down broken pathways, further and further to the temple’s center.
Suddenly, a colorful scene of flora met my eyes. It was practically winter and yet not a single hint of brown tainted the leaves. “Nice garden,” I whispered with delight.
“I’ll tell you a secret.” The old man replied, finally breaking his silence, a slight smile in his eyes.
“This garden is a sacred place, been around for ages. I have lived out my whole life here and noticed it stays green all year around and never needs tending.” He stooped down and carefully picked up one of the many potted plants, this one looking like a miniature oak, or was it a spruce. Pine? Never was much of a plant lover... The old man continues talking while I continue my inward guessing. Shrub perhaps?
“My ancestor’s believe it to be the work of fairies. Even I myself sometimes catch a glimpse of their magic.”
“I-is that so?” I say skeptically. ‘Poor man’s senile’ -.-;
The old man stretched out his arms, offering me the plant.
“Please, take it, I wish to share this earthly miracle. Before I go… ” He said shakily. -cough, hack, wheez-
He seemed serious, so I gratefully accepted his gift.
-WHOOSH- A small white light the size of a marble rushed before my very eyes. “W-was that a bug?!”
-WHIZ- it came again, bouncing back and forth between myself and the plant like a pinball at full speed, finally stopping upon my hand.
Then it bit me- hard. D:
Blinded by pain, my first instinct was to flail about like an idiot. I looked around for the old man for help, but he somehow disappeared, leaving me to my plight. Finally calming down, I stared at my miniature enemy with hate. I was about to just smack it and be done with it, but this was no bug, this was more like, like a— unicorn. O_O
Upon my hand was a bug eyed gremlin (what, it bit me, and it’s STILL biting me).
Well it had a small horn sprouting from its head but paws for its feet, and in place of a unicorn’s tail lay that of a doe’s. Pretty cute I must say, besides the fact it bit me. It could probably fit upon my forefinger I suppose.
Then, I flicked it. Not hard of course, just enough for it to stop. And you know what it did? It went all teary-eyed and retreated back into the plant. Great, now it feels like I’m the bad guy -_-
Taking the plant and the awful thing with it, I went in search of that old geezer. Sadly, I couldn’t find him anywhere, but I did find his note. It said he went off to the Bahamas. And that “The garden’s all yours, best of luck! P.S. you can’t leave without someone else taking your place, or you’ll be cursed~ ^.^v ”
I-I was tricked! That guy just wanted a replacement so he can escape this crummy place. D:<
Hmm, but he did say something about sharing this so called “miracle” -cue lightbulb-
And thus begins my new plant shop, Uni Bonsai!
So I’ll be sharing the rest of these plants, and their cute, but rotten occupants. I’m just not gonna do it for free…

Species
- Little unicorn
Small of size and eyes jet black
Care to come with me? -
Singular: Uni
Plural: Unii; A tag of unii
Unii are generally bad-tempered and stubborn. Though not entirely impossible to gain their trust if trained at a young age. Their aggressiveness comes from being overprotective of their tree home. A uni's tree is their source of food and shelter. In exchange the uni will tend to the tree's needs such as trimming, gathering water (they have a knack to call on rain and other elements, how they do so remains unknown), churning the soil so it does not harden, and of course guarding it from aphids and other bugs that tend to harm the tree.
Unis are hardy eaters, therefore usually only one uni will occupy a single tree to make sure the uni will have plenty to sustain it. Their main food source are the tree leaves. Some may also eat the bark or sap. Like flowers, they have no gender and procreate by some sort of pollination. This is the only time that a uni will allow another to enter its tree. A single seed is produced from each parent. Both offspring is then tossed away from the parent tree so that they too can take root. After the seeds germinate and grow into a small sapling, they will produce a strange looking bud. When the bud blossoms, the form of a young uni will be revealed.
Other than breedings, these will be 3-stage pets.
Tree > young uni > adult uni
The seed stage is only shown for breedings. Most plants to be sold here will have already germinated into full-grown bonsais. The blossom stage will also be skipped because they are embedded deep within the tree so a person may only spot the young uni once it is born and stirring about the edge of the leaves.
Tree: Nothing too spectacular. Though the coloring of the tree hints at what the uni may look like. Like flamingos, the color of their food dictates the color of their fur.
Kit: Personalities vary, but are usually quite shy at first meeting. They communicate with gestures and some may already be able to have telepathic communication with their owner (though only images, they have yet to master words). They are about the size of one digit of your finger.
Adult: Fully grown at about half the size of your pointer finger. Their personalities are more settled and more often than not, the uni has become a bit more territorial when you come near its tree. ^^;
They can now communicate telepathically perfectly, though they'd still prefer to use images now and then. They find it more efficient than spewing a hundred words when a single picture would suffice.
*cough* Oh and, of course, unii can communicate to each other perfectly. (Although using gestures, even young can easily translate their meaning)
So yea, if it helps the rper, you can just use words if your uni is talking to other unii.
Depending on the kind of tree, different species of uni have evolved.
- Unii -
Species 1: The Caere Samples: X X X
One of the most common breeds and also one of the strongest. The horn is longer to help protect what few vegatation there is. Their legs are quite muscular to allow them to jump from branch to branch with ease.
Species 2: The Ertiba Samples: X X X
This common breed is smaller and slimmer than species 1. Its horn has also shrunk a bit. This is because their tree is abundant with leaves, they rarely have to walk very far to reach their food. Because of this, they are also more placid and laid back.
Species 3: The Nitorendi
One of the stranger species and a bit uncommon. Species 3 is marked by its spiraling horn that it uses to twist around the vine-y foilage which help keep it in place while its long tail works like a tongue and gathers large bundles of leaves at a time. Their paws have also shrunk because of the lack of need for them.
Species 4: The Elifica
Quite rare. A very finicky breed and one of the few to have wings. They will buzz around their shrub like home, trimming away to perfection. Since they have the power of flight, they prefer to fly to safety than fight, thus resulting in their horn degenerating into a short nub-like jewel. They are also one of the largest species. Their young already being the size of an adult common, their adult size stretching the entire length of one's finger. Because of how fragile their home is, unlike the common species, it will allow absolutely no one near its home, even for breeding, for the slightest extra weight may topple it.
This species does not breed and will only be sold at special auctions or on the rare chance through customs.
Species 5: The Elicus
Like species 4, it is quite rare and even twice as territorial. Their tree is practically dying from being put into such a small pot. So this particular species has evolved to have wings and grow to thrice the size of a regular uni (though its mostly just fur). Their menacing false size and their incredibly long horn assure that all other uni know well enough to keep away.
This species does not breed and will only be sold at special auctions or on the rare chance through customs.
Species 6: The Copakin
These are very special unii and quite hard to manifest. A tree is chosen and specially prepared so that a soul can be replicated. Usually an item considered important to the spector is placed next to the tree, when the ghost is lured in close enough, it's essence is copied. From there the uni born from it will hold a resemblance to the spirit's.
Enlightened Ones
Legend tells that aged unii, along with proper care, have been noted to grow to a 4th stage. In this stage their eyes become inverted into a blazing white and they grow to a humongous size! The size of the palm of your hand -nod nod- amazing right?
What, you don't think so? D:
Come on it's like comparing a marble to a tennis ball.
But it's a legend for a reason, meaning pretty much impossible...
So why have this posted anyway you might ask? Well it's because I haven't finished the lineart for them yet ^^; Maybe one day...
Unii aren't the only residents of the garden. At night, the stone guardians awaken. These guardians morph in the darkness from stone to living flesh.
Guardians are quite uncommon, for even a single one is enough to propel evil. Guardians are also quite good-natured. Their kind eyes can see through a person's heart. If they deem it worthy, they extend their friendship and protection to the person. But, if they sense evil intent, they will not hesitate to attack you. For hidden behind their kind smile lies many sharp teeth. (makes you wonder how that old guy and me are still around >.>).
Singular: Guardian
Plural: Guardians; A post of guardians
They come in 3 stages.
Horn > ward > guardian Samples: X X X
Horn: Guardians are gifts from the moon. For each horn comes a charm that dictates the color of their hide.
Ward: The horn has miraculously changed into that of a small guardian. Even now, the little one is instilled with an urge to protect and defend. However they are still young and small that they're the ones who need protecting. ^^;
Guardian: It is now a full fledged guardian. They are about the size of an adult saint bernard or other large dog. They have perfected their guardian skills and silently plod around the garden.

Makes your uni develop stripes. Choose one color.

Warp Powder - 2000g (1 available)
Allows owner to twist time. Owner can choose whether uni will grow faster to the next stage or go back to the previous stage. Allow 1-2 days for powder to take affect.
Use at any stage. Cannot be used for adult Unii to go to fourth stage.
Note: If reverted to previous stage, it will not stop growing back to next stage. Use a Freeze Powder to keep it in the current stage if you wish.

Premades, Customs, and Breedings
For Premades, Customs, and Breedings, trades must be sent to prprofs before they will be started.
Prices are subject to change. So please don't complain if like a month after you asked for a custom the price went down, or for others, complain the price went up. >.>;
I also reserve the right to refuse any order. Don't take it personally, it's most likely due to the custom clashing with future events, or I'm busy with work/school.
Premade adults are -always- available for 1k each for species (1-2). So even if customs are closed, premades will always be open!
Just title trade with the color, species, and what to name it. "Black Caere, name is Chopi"
If you wish to buy one for another person, just add in who it's for. "Black Caere, name Chopi, for prprofs." If you don't put a person in there, I'll just assume it's for you ^-^

Please note that premades are treated the same way as unii bought from flats, auctions, etc. They can breed (even with non-premades) and use items as well.
Though it's not recommended for 2 premades to breed unless they have used items, otherwise the offspring will probably have few, if any markings.

Gold is preferred, but Donation Items are accepted at lowest market price. And Common items at sellback price. Halloween labcoats also accepted.
-Might do lineart edits, but price will raise according to difficulty. Go ahead and tell me what you want edited, and I'll give you a price estimate.
-NOTE: If it's a custom of an animal (cheetah, panda, any other natural animal), the price is doubled. Looking for more examples?

2. Cannot be rare species 4 and above. Species (1-3) can interbreed, the type of species produced will be dependant on the parent. So a Caere/Ertiba pair will produce 1 Caere and 1 Ertiba. The markings will be a mix of both parents though.

3. Cost of breeding is 12k, can be split anyway between owners.
