1. No PMing orders, unless stated to do so! Questions are alright, but if already answered somewhere on the main page it may go ignored.
2. Don't steal art, claim another's pet as your own etc. Simply just don't steal.
3. No Whining / Advertising / Begging / Spamming etc. It's annoying, don't do it.
4. Once your pet reaches it's last stage, you must save it to your own server. Will probably be days or weeks till I take them down, so if you don't remember to save it, there will be a 500g retrieval fee D:
5. I repeat, don't whine. If you badger me about how slow your pet is growing, it may just grow even slower. Heheh just kidding, just be patient, I have a life too ya know.
6. Shisa, dragons, familiars, items, ANYTHING you buy from this shop can never be refunded or resold in any way. It's happened before and without my knowledge, I'm still a bit peeved about it >.<;;;
>> EXCEPTIONS:
- If you changed your name/transferred accounts and just want your cert to be updated. I'd prefer if you PMed me before you change your name or if you're transferring accounts, to PM from the original account first.
7. Contructive Criticism is acceptable. Please don't just say your pets or whathaveyou sucks. Say WHY it sucks, maybe that way I can try to improve my shop. And yea, I'm already aware I don't have nice shop banners and the like >.<;

[ FAQ ]
How much are they?
Flatsales will always be 6k.

How fast do they grow?
Each stage lasts around a week or two. Growings usually occur on a weekend.

RP mandatory?
Never. But if you want to, go ahead and RP in the thread.
Good things may come of it. ^^

How many can I have?
As many as you'd like. Can only get one per flatsale though.

Can I co-own or co-bid?
Sorry, only one owner per pet.
For auctions, co-bidding/co-owning is allowed.

Who drew the lineart?
Me, prprofs. I setup this thread, did the lineart, the shading, the cert etc.
I lay no claim to the Shisa Story. That is a well-known story which I find very nice and happy ^-^

Hiring?

[ 3 Story ]

Long ago on a distant island lived a young boy named Chiga-san. The small village that Chiga-san lived in was terrorized by an angry dragon. The dragon would suddenly appear from the sea to attack the village and its unlucky villagers. One day, after another attack, the king of the land came to the village and approached Chiga-san.

"I saw the dragon and the troubles it is causing you," the king said and pulled out a small statue. "Here, take this shisa lion and place it in front of the village. It will protect all of you from now on."

Chiga-san took the small statue and looked at it. It was a boring brown color. The face of the shisa looked like a lion, except much fiercer, with a snarl on its lips. Chiga-san bowed to the king and placed the shisa on the beach in front of the village.

The next day, the waves crashed loudly, signalling the approach of the dragon. The villagers ran from their homes, eyes expectantly on the tiny shisa statue perched on the beach. The dragon sprang up from the sea, then froze at the sight of the shisa figure, which had begun to tremble, a loud rumbling coming from deep within like a muffled lion's roar.

The statue suddenly burst open and a huge shisa lion sprang out and attacked the dragon. The two creatures disappeared into the sea, and the villagers feared the shisa had been killed.

Suddenly, far out in the ocean, what looked like a fountain of water rose into the air. The villagers and Chiga-san held their breath. They heard the roars of the shisa lion and the bellows of the dragon, then all was quiet and the water slowly fell back to the ocean.

Chiga-san frantically looked and looked at the ocean for the shisa lion, but it didn't reappear. Then, when he looked down at the sand, Chiga-san jumped back -- the shisa statue was there, all in one piece and not a crack on it.

The village was never bothered by the dragon again. Word soon spread around Okinawa of the shisa lion's bravery and protection of the village. Soon, other villages made their own shisa lions, and the shisa became known as the protector of the islands.


To this day, a home or business will usually display two shisa lions -- one with its mouth open to scare off the evil spirits and the other with its mouth closed to keep the good spirits in.

Note: Shisa are created from a legendary statue maker (me). >.>;
So Shisa do not breed, they are mass produced. XD

Dragons are similar. They too do not breed, in the normal sense anyway. The scales of an old dragon are shed which later turn into the next generation of dragons. I find these scales and only when they turn into hatchlings do I deem them fit to sell.

[ Shisa ]

Stage 1 - Statue
Hmm, just an ordinary statue.

Stage 1b - Cracked Statue
Someone broke your statue. How evil!
You are too angry to notice the faint wisps of a spirit hovering over it's once stoney prison.

Stage 2 - Shisa Pup
The spirit has physically manifested. Way better than a statue don't you think?

Stage3 - Shisa Adult
The reliable guardian is quite loyal and is prepared to protect you in any way possible.


[ Sea Dragons ]

Stage 1 - Hatchling
Aw, cute right? Be careful though, they'll n** at you when you're not looking.

Stage 2 - Worm
Tad bigger and so are their attitudes. They're such troublemakers.

Stage 3 - Serpent
Full fledged adult. Congratulations, now it's ready to wreak havoc on human villagers. ^-^

[ 5 How to Get One ]


All trades must be sent to me, prprofs

All flatsales will be 6k

[ Rules of the Flatsale ]
1. All flatsales will be speed sales. So it's first come, first serve.
2. You can only claim one pet per sale, be it for a friend or yourself. However, if the sale lasts for too long, I may eventually post that people can claim another pet. ^^
3. Must have complete silence for at least 3 minutes before a flatsale.
4. I will then post "GO!" in big green font.
5. To claim a pet, you must post the form provided. All other posts will be ignored.

6. Can't edit your post or do this "If #2 is taken, I'll take #5." If you posted for a pet already taken, you can post again for a different pet.
7. Flatsale winners must send and confirm trade with prprofs ASAP!
8. After 24 hours, if not yet paid for, the pet will go back on sale and said person is barred from re-claiming it.
9. If you buy a special cert, don't forget to add the cost to your trade.
10. I will post the certed pets in the thread and you must direct-link it til it's final stage (remember to save it to your own server when it reaches the last stage). If you happened to have missed the posted pet, just wait til I update the "Owner List" post. ^-^

Here lies an array of brushes you can use on your shisa.
We also carry special fish scales perfect for your little dragon.

To order, send trade to prprofs with trade title of the item you want, and which pet you want the item to go to.
After trade is completed, item(s) will then be shipped, allow about a day for them to take effect.
NOTE: Once a brush/scale is used, it can't be undone, so choose wisely. ._.;;;

[ Shisa Items ]

White Brush - 500g
Used to make your shisa a single, plain color. You get to choose which color.
Use in any stage.

Tiger Brush - 1000g
Makes your shisa develop stripes. Choose 1 color.
Use before adult stage.

Giraffe Brush - 1000g
Adds spots of the giraffe to your shisa. Choose 1 color.
Use before adult stage.

Fox Brush - 1000g
Blackens the legs like a fox. Choose 1 color.
Use before adult stage.

Brush of Ice - 1000g
This will keep the shisa in it's current state forever.
Use at any stage.

Brush of Fire - 1000g
Nulls the effect of the brush of ice. The shisa will begin to grow again.
Use at any stage.

Brush of Time - 2000g
Allows you to speed or slow time. You can choose whether it makes the shisa grow faster to the next stage or revert to the previous stage. Allow up to 2 days for this brush to take affect.
Use at any stage.
Note: If reverted to previous stage, it doesn't mean its stopped growing. You must use a Brush of Ice if you wish to keep it at that stage.


[ Dragon Items ]

Rusty Scale - 500g
Used to make your dragon a single, plain color. You get to choose which color.
Use at any stage.

Striped Scale - 1000g
Makes your dragon develop stripes. Choose 1 color.
Use before adult stage.

Spotted Scale - 1000g
Adds spots of the giraffe to your dragon. Choose 1 color.
Use before adult stage.

Scale of the Trickster - 1000g
Blackens the legs like a fox. Choose 1 color.
Use before adult stage.

Scale of Seizure - 1000g
This will freeze the dragon in it's current state forever.
Use at any stage.

Scale of Brimstone - 1000g
Nulls the effect of the scale of seizure. The dragon will begin to grow again.
Use only when scale of seizure is in effect.

Universal Scale - 2000g
Allows you to speed or slow time. You can choose whether it makes the dragon grow faster to the next stage or revert to the previous stage. Allow 2 days for this item to take affect.
Use at any stage.
Note: If reverted to previous stage, it doesn't mean its stopped growing. You must use a Scale of Seizure if you wish to keep it at that stage.

For Customs, trades must be sent to prprofs before they will be started.
Prices are subject to change. So please don't complain if like a month after you asked for a custom the price went down, or for others, complain the price went up. >.>;

Customs are currently 200k for adult shisa and dragons, 300k for fully growing.

Currently not doing cosplays or lineart edits.

Please provide as many references as possible. If you just describe a complex tattoo or something of the sort, it may come out badly without a reference. ><;

What? You want to see if your dragon can "reproduce"?
Well... Hmm, okay but...it will cost ya. >:3

Why you ask? Well your dragon will never be old enough to shed scales naturally in your lifetime. So I'm going to use my handy-dandy pickax of doom to try and chip some off for you. Dragons get very angry when you hit them with a pickax ya know... So I'm charging you to pay for my medical bills -.-;
Don't worry though, it's only for every scale I manage to knick off. ^-^

I'll go at it 3 times lest I die from bloodloss...
(using random #1-3 to see how many times I'm successful, so a dragon can shed 1-3 scales)

Each scale costs 12k. If you think you don't have enough to afford up to 3 scales, tell me so.
If say 3 scales were knicked, but you could only afford 2. A 3rd will still be made, but will belong to the shop to be auctioned off. (Don't worry, you get to choose which of the scales you wish to keep.)
