Welcome to the Farm! I'm glad you've decided to venture from the hustle and bustle of the main city and shops, to visit the more rural side of Gaia.

You may well be wondering what's so special about some ol' dairy farm in the outskirts of Barton Town. Well, you see, our milk isn't just the run of the mill milk you can buy at every grocery store. This here milk is the beginnings of the strangest sort of bovine you may ever see.

Take a tour of the farm if you like, and make sure to check out the stalls!

10.3.05 I know, I know... I should be shot for the major lack of updates. Gomen! I finally grew up all the cartons. I'll send those of you that will have growing calfs the images tomorrow. I need to prepare for my friend coming over for 2 weeks while her mom is out of town. From now on I'll probably offer less cartons for flatsale. Easier to manage... sweatdrop I love you all, don't hate me, kay?

Rules

1. No stealing my art or idea; this shop, art, and concept are now legally copywritten to me as itellectual property. Furthermore, do not steal someone else's cow. If you want a cow so badly that you must steal, PM me first and we'll see if we can figure something out.
2. No fighting in this thread or in eachother's journals (unless it is blatantly obvious both parties are just having fun). If you have a problem with another Farmer or even just a passerby, please take it to PMs.
3. Do not spam this thread or the journals. Bumping is allowed (in fact, it's encouraged) as long as you aren't acting like a bumpwhore.
4. Please remember that I have a life outside of Gaia that I need to tend to. Respect that. Do not expect that I will get everything done the minute you ask for it.

FAQ

1. How do we roleplay the cows; do they talk or something?
Your cows can be taught to speak like a human. It's really up to you whether or not you teach them or how well you teach them. Even if your cow cannot speak, it still has a personality that it will try its utmost to display.
2. We don't need the Journal anymore?
I said that I might eventually require it, but I've decided that RP will be a voluntary thing that grants privlleges and the such. So, if you RP with your cow enough (once I set up the thread), it will grow faster and may eventually become an antrho. I might also do other things like free Thatchlings or items for constant Role Players.
3. Okay. So to get anthro stage, we need to rp? Or will it just come faster?
If you RP enough (I will set a minimum amount of quality posts) you will get the anthro. If you would like an anthro but do not want to RP or RP much, you can pay an extra fee (TBA) to receive the anthro stage.
4. Will we get to determine the personality of our cow?
If you have bought a flatsale cow, I will give you a very basic personality to work off of in the RP thread. However, if you bought a custom or cosplay you need to tell me what your Cow's personality is so I can post it in the RP thread for everyone else's reference.

Feel free to ask me questions through PM or on this main thread.

Stages


Carton

Left to Right: Demonic/Angelic and Tipped
All Cows start out as Cartons. They don't do much at this stage because they haven't been born. Be patient and they will hatch. Normally they hatch in 3-7 days after being purchased. (Unless of course I am busy or forgetful at the time.)

Calf

All Types
All calfs look about the same because they haven't grown their wings yet. Calfs cannot walk, instead they wobble, so they need to be helped around. They begin to show their personalities at this stage, but they are not as complex-minded as their elders. Growth depends on care given. (Again, depends on my forgetfulness or business)

Cow

Left to Right: Demonic, Angelic, Tipped
This stage is when cows begin to show differences besides colors. They finally grow their wings and they develop their personalites further. They can walk and learn to talk with the proper care. (You need 3 quality RP posts at this stage to teach your cow how to talk) This is normally the last stage for your cow.

Anthro

All Types -- Wings, Clothing, and Hair will be added to each cow.
The final and rarest stage of your bovine. The growth into an anthro takes a lot of quality care to achieve. Anthro bovine are just like you and me except for their physical differences. They have grown into mature adults and can make decisions on their own as well as breed.

For the most part, we will be having flatsales. A flatsale cow is 850g unless stated otherwise.

I will also do customs for at least 1150g. The price will go up if the cow needs any specific insignia or accessories. If you would like a Cosplay Custom, it will be 2000g because I will need to make all new anthro hair and clothes. You may only request a Custom on weekends.

Thatchlings are the familiars for your cow. They keep your darling bovine company when you aren't around.

No Thatchlings have been layed yet.


Milking

Milking is the equivalent of breeding for these here cows.

Milking Pumps are not yet available to the public; sorry.
