Egg Stage Koaogs, like some of the less common mammals, start out in Eggs. In this state, they are quite immobile and boring, remaining as such for an average of two weeks or so, though sometimes much later if the baby inside is not fully developed. This stage looks the same for both genders.

Baby Stage Once hatched, the Koaog enters into the Baby stage. In this state, they tend to eat and sleep a lot, hardly ever opening their eyes, though making full use of their growing ears. They can remain at this size for a few weeks, though usually no longer than 3 months. It is very important to bond with your Koaog at this age.

Teenage Stage When the baby has grown enough, the Koaog will enter its Adolescent stage. The Koaog is now basically fully grown, and will remain in this stage for up to a year.

Adult (Ultimate) Stage If you treat your Koaog with enough love and care, it might reach its final stage of life and enter the Adult form. The Koaog is at the peak of its power and performance, and will remain like this for years at a time.

Color Medallions
Price: 4000g per Color Medallion

Color Medallions are used when you no longer want your pet that color. Purchasing one of these can change your Koaog into its new color.

This process may only be done twice.
If your Koaog is Raritized, changing its color will result in defaulting the Koaog back to a normal form, so use these wisely..

Baby: 4000g
(Keeps Koaog in Baby Stage)
Teen: 5000g
(Keeps Koaog in Teen Stage)
Adult: 6000g
(Keeps Koaog in Adult Stage)
Grow: 3000g
(Resumes Koaog's growth habits)

Growth Medallions are used to either halt or continue your Koaogs growth rate.

Growth-freezing Medallions can be bought only ONCE during your Koaog's life. The exception is the Grow Medallion, which resumes your Koaog's growing. Choose wisely.

Raritization?! What on earth IS Raritization?

Curious as to what the Raffle tickets are for?

Once a generation, after all the Koaogs have been sold for the time period, all those who purchased a raffle ticket will be placed in a hat and 10 lucky winners will be drawn. Those 10 people will get the choice to change their Koaog into one of the Default Rare forms, or order a Custom. Default forms are guaranteed to be free, but the more intricate a Custom, the higher the fee will be added. (For each additional drawn part I must add there will be 100g).

If one of the 10 winners does not wish to Raritize their Koaog (though, I strongly suggest you NOT buy a ticket if you don't want your Koaog raritized), another person will be drawn in their place until 10 Koaogs have won.

Once a Koaog has been Raritized, it will be reborn in the Egg stage. This changes the age of the Koaog as well, making it go through the hatching process as if it's never been before, and it will inhibit it from breeding until it reaches the Teen or Adult stage, even if it was an Adult before it was reborn.

It is impossible to Raritize your Koaog when it is in the Death stage.

Raffle Tickets cost 500g each. You may buy up to 5 tickets.

How to Purchase Your Koaog

Fill Out The Following Information:
Name: (What you want your Koaog to be called)
Color: (What color you wish to purchase)
Item(s): (Which items you want to purchase, if any)
Raffle: (Say 'Yes' or 'No' for a Raffle Ticket.)
Total: (Total amount for your Koaog. I do check this.)

Then..
1. Post the above information in this topic and THIS TOPIC ALONE. Do NOT PM me with your Koaog information!
2. Wait for a confirmation post from me, Drakku. Do not PM me asking if I have received your request. Chances are, I'm busy, but I will notice.
3. If my confirmation post is acceptable, open a trade with me, Drakku, with Koaog as the title, and send the total amount of gold you owe. I will check this.
4. Wait for confirmation. This can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few days. Do NOT PM me asking if I got your Trade. It's Gaia, I'll know when I have a trade waiting.

Once the confirmation PM has been sent to you, you will be put on Awaiting Payment. If one week goes by with no payment or approvals on your end, your Koaog request will be cancelled in order to keep spots open for potential customers.

Rules

1. Both Koaogs Must be in Teen or Adult stage AND at at least 10 months in age.
By the time your Koaog reaches this age, unless you've given it Medallions to keep it at a younger stage, it will be able to breed with another Koaog. Exceptions are Egg and Baby stages, which, for example, if you gave your Koaog a Medallion to keep it in its Baby stage, will not be able to Breed until it has gone on to the next stage, regardless of age. (Which requires another Medallion to put it back in the aging process).

2. Koaogs may only have one mate at a time.
Like with humans, taking on multiple partners is frowned upon in the Koaog society. If your Koaog takes on a mate and the partnership doesn't appear to work out, they can take a new mate. But one male can't have two females, or no female with two males, understand?

3. Koaog pairs can be any combination, M/F, M/M, F/F.
I'm not at all against Koaogs that swing the other way. Just keep in mind, same gender pairs will not produce an egg. It's the same way with humans, so no arguing this. Same-sex mates can 'adopt', if you will, an Egg to call their own, though it will not resemble the parents.

4. Koaogs MUST breed with other Koaogs.
Basically, you can't have a Koaog breeding with any other specie of pet except itself.

5. Both owners will pay a fee of 7500g (15,000g total). If one or both of the Koaogs has been Raritized, both owners will pay a fee of 10,000g (20,000g total).
The reason a Raritized breeding is a lot more expensive is because the babies will automatically have the Raritized form, and therefore, are worth more. If both parents are Raritized, the babies will be whatever the dominant Rare-form is of the two.
The only exception to the payment method is if your Koaog is being bred with one of the Staff's Koaogs, whereupon the breeding is free. Note, by 'Staff', I'm referring to Shopowners and Artists, NOT to Bumpers.

6. There will be two Eggs recieved.
The Koaog female will produce two Eggs that will hatch at the same time as Twin Koaogs. Each owner receives one Egg unless stated otherwise. The Twin Koaogs will have dominant and recessive genes from both parents which govern what colors they are once born.

Some questions I'm going to go ahead and answer before I get lobbed with them.

FAQ

How do I pay you?
Fill out the information in the Payment section and post in the topic and I'll then post whether your request has been approved or denied. If everything is as you ordered it, start the trade with the amount needed for purchasing the Koaog. Once the trade has been completed, your Koaog will appear in the 'Pickup' section (second post) and you can put it in your signature. The Koaog will usually stay up for about a week or until you post in the topic again saying it has been acquired.
Can I pay you in items/pet trades?
Sure, I don't mind, I love pets, though I only have my own. Harhar.
Item-wise, be sure the alotted value of the items is equal to the value of your Koaog. I'll trust you on your tallying, but I'll usually check the item values before accepting this payment.
What on earth IS a Koaog?
A Koaog is basically a pet that is loyal and fun loving. In fact, part of its name comes from 'dog' since a Koaog's loyalty can rival those annoying little barking fuzzballs. The other half of the name comes from 'Koala.' So.. a Koaog is basically a Koala-Dog, except not.
How do I pronounce the name?
...Lol, amazingly, it's simple: "Kah-wahg"
Can they breed?
Koaogs are now breedable! Check the 'Breeding' section to find out how.
Can I commission one?
Sorry, not at the moment. Once I have more artists helping me out, we might consider adding that option sometime later. Of course, if you win the Raffle you can always change your Koaog into a Custom, but ordering one outright is impossible at the moment.
Can they get married?
With the Breeding option now comes a 'marriage option', one could say. If your Koaog takes a partner, it's a union of the two and they're what we'd call 'married.'
What's all this 'First Generation' stuff?
The 'First Generation' refers to the first 50 Koaogs sold from this shop. After the initial 50 have been sold, the 'Second Generation' will be released, with 75 Koaogs. Followed by the Third with 100, then the Fourth, Fifth, etc, until you reach the Tenth, most common, and final Generation. After that, Koaogs will only become available through Breeding.
Are you going to have Flatsales and Auctions?
Yes. Certain days in the year (like Halloween and Christmas), I'll flatsale/auction Koaogs previously unavailable for purchase or Raritization.
I lost my Koaog's URL, what do I do?
Check the 'Pickup' section (second post) for information. Originally you could PM me and I'd PM you back your Koaog information, but I've decided to stop doing that because anything in my inbox gets ignored for a few days before I open it.
Can I buy items/raffle ticket(s) as gifts for other people?
Oh yeah, sure! Post in the topic clearly specifying the username of the person you're giving the item/ticket(s) to and send the trade with the proper amount, AND/OR specify the item and who it's for in the trade title.
What if I don't own a Koaog? Can I still buy people gifts?
Yes, of course! Just follow the directions above and it'll be just fine.
