Glad you could join us; please, ignore the fact that the musty old textbooks still claim that man won't walk on moon, and that the rain just makes the creaking of the door worse. This is where you will be spending the next semester. So welcome. To what? To the Expiremental Branch of the University of Reaserch and Development. I'm the head of Doctors of Medication. I'll be teaching your class this year. This year, like every other behind us, we will be studying Genetics and Mutation. Please take a seat.
Your assignment for this course is to bring life to a corpse.
"You've got to be kidding me."
Nope.
You are given the tiny, lifeless corpse of a baby. Strangely, though, it's skin is a gross hue of grey, and it has no memories, no physical traits, it's dull and lifeless. Fabricated by man. This is obviously not life-like. That's where you come in. After your years of science and reserch, you will be given a syringe, and a mix of liquids that contain stuff that I don't understand myself. You are also given a differant type of liquid. Something basic to add, such as salt water or the blood of a certain animal. These liquids together will make changes and bring life to your expirement. Each child will be mutate- er, treated with the physical abilities of another creature, every one differant, depending on what is in your syringe. Every month or so your expirement will be given an injection, causing it to change a little. You will need to do this four times in the period before it's growth. You will be given a place to stay at the university, while you conduct your expirement, and a book. In this book, I expect you to write down your observations and thoughts. Sucess will pass you this class, while failure will fail you. You and your expirement will be tested between growth periods. Make us happy. Easy enough?
