Got a dream avatar? Most of us do. But things are a bit difficult to get at times. My name is Pax, and I don’t have a dream avatar to pursue. Instead I’m attempting to give back to the Gaian community. Oh yes, the sarcastic evil Pax is operating a charity for the masses. Welcome to Dream a Dream, a charity for the questing Gaian.

Feel free to take a look around, chatter, and enjoy yourself here. There will be contests, parties, and lots of things happening.

There are no forms to fill out. Just do everyone a favor and follow the rules and read the posts before you ask for donations or post.

People are more than welcome to donate to the charity, join in giving donations, and all that jazz. When the charity grows some more I may add staff, moderators, etc. But as of now Pax is the only staffer.

I’d love to have banners, graphics and such. If you make banners or graphics, you are almost guaranteed to get at least 500g in donations for your effort.

Rules

OMGZ I have rules!!!! But hey they are pretty simple and easy to understand.
1. Be literate when you post or be prepared to get a screaming response about how much I hate n00blets who can't read rules and type literately. I will not donate to you if you use chatspeak.
2. Bumping is fine, but only in moderation. Too many Bumps and I will give you a screaming response on how much I hate bumpers. I especially hate those "bumping for ~insert item here~" bumps. I realize this is the quest/charity forum but that is just annoying. I won't donate to you if you do this
3. DON'T advertise here and run. Only advertise your quest thread, and only post it once. Don't advertise for your shop, your roleplay, or your entry in a contest. If you advertise and run, or advertise for anything other than your quest thread; I'll delete your post and blacklist you and will not get a donation.
5. DON'T post begging for donations. That really just pisses me off, and I'll send you packing with a screaming response and no donation. I'm operating a charity, but I don't donate to beggars. Post what you are questing for and then chat.
6. DON'T PM me for donations... I won't answer, and I won't donate.
7. If I don't answer right away it means I'm not online or am just busy. Be patient. There are times when my life outside of Gaia ( eek Yes I have one) takes precedence. That is actually most of the time because I'm in college and I have a marvelous guy who I happened to love a lot. There are also times when my computer sells it's soul to the devil and I have to get it back.
8. People who can't follow the rules will be blacklisted as well as get the obvious screaming response.
9. The more you post the more likely you will get donations. But don't spam the thread.
10. Do not post here asking for donations unless you have at least ten posts under your belt. No I will not donate to you just because you are new. There are many newbie charities that you can go to.
11. I do not guarantee you'll get a donation or that it will be the most difficult to find item... I've only got so much gold.
12. Do not add Pax to your friends unless you've talked to her quite a bit, and do not get mad if you get rejected. Being her friend will not increase the likelihood of getting a donation.
13. When there are contests please follow the rules mentioned in the contest posts.
14. All donations will be labeled "From Dream a Dream Charity" if you are going to credit the charity on some kind of list, please Put Dream a Dream Charity and not Serenity Pax.

Basics: I'm Pax, well actually that's my pen name cause I don't give out my real name to people online. I'm twenty and a first semester senior in college. I'm Irish, German, and Native American{Oh the political correctness} mix, and the Irish comes out most notably in my temper. I'm going to be a District Attorney after I get out of law school. I write a lot of fiction and poetry and am currently working on like three books. I'm totally in love with my guy. I love to sing and dance and act. Yes I'm a theater geek, and I'm proud of it. I love to read, especially fantasy and some good realistic fiction. I've decided to learn Japanese, but I only know a very few words so far.
