There have always been the unicorns, pegasus, and alicorns, besides the rather unusual horses. There are the Changelings. One more creature has been discovered: the Avalings.

It's hard to say how long the Avalings have existed, but they cannot truly exist until they are given the opportunity to take a shape. When Avalings were first discovered, they were nothing but lifeless figurines.

Yet the figurine was not so lifeless as it may have seemed.

They are created with a spirit, the possibility to become a living creature, animal and in tune with the rhythms of Mystic Island. Given a caretaker, a "parent," it can take a form. The Avaling comes into the world as a small infant, resembling its parent, but with animal features.

They share a connection with each other... but still, little is known about them, as so few of them have found parents...

Once you adopt an Avaling you will take care of the figurine given to you that was found in Mystic Grove. If you have taken really good care of it a charm will appear dangling from the moon! The charm will represent an animal that you are closet to. Once the Avaling feels connected to you it will emerge from the figurine, and become a baby. You must teach the baby the basics of life (watch out they can grow quickly if loved enough... This, however, is no reason to love them any less). Once the Avaling gets a strong connection to you, and knows the basics it will become a kid. A kid is basically the intermidate phase between a baby and teen. Once it grows from a kid to a teen the basic tasks will be to start building a relationship, and a career. However, the most important task a teen must accomplish is learning more about themselves. It appears when they are most assured about themselves, they will become adults. Adults are continuing into their career, and towards the end of adult hood finishing them up. Also about mid way through there adult stage they will be able to start a family. They can only do this once (could result in 1 or 2, random) because it takes an extreme amount of time and energy. As an adult they may also start to loose interest in you, and may want to move out. They may do this so that they can support their family, or for what ever the reason may be. Reaching the elder stage can be a pretty hard task coming! Elders are usually wise, and graceful... Or extremely mischievous! They have retired from their career, and are now teaching their children and grand children. They seem too stingy about teaching others though unless connected to them. They pretty much know about themselves now, and may choice to occasional go on "outings", although they pretty much will not want to... When they are ready they will also come back to your side (some may choose not to), and become a completely faithful companion to you. Although, they will still be super protective over their mate, and family!

As you look around, you cannot make heads nor tails of what is up or down; what is left or right. All you know is that you are there. You begin to concentrate, hoping to find your way back to the normal green field. However, as you are concentrating shapes begin to form. From those shapes spring forth lush plants, vivid sky, and an intriguing landscape. Keep in mind be careful what you wish for... You begin to wonder why you have even found this place, or what this place is even for. Then... You spot it! A whitish, grayish foal; mater of fact you almost tripped over it. It gives you a ruff whinny, and looks up to you. The foal leaps up, and makes a mad dash back towards the misty gray haze...

Are you Woman or Man enough to chase and capture this foal...?

If you answered no hurry, and turn back now before it is too late!

Well now that you have managed to capture one of these rare foals. Yes, even rarer than the Allicorn... You wonder what you are supposed to do with it. Simple, you are going to raise it from scratch (keep a diary). Not even the bread or apples has the same effect on these foals as it does for the others. Depending on your and your foal’s actions is how it will grow up. It also affects what it will become. Depending on your foals actions different tasks, quests, & missions will be offered. I do not expect you to complete them all, just give it your best shot. Tasks, quests, & missions can alter growth, happiness, personality, breed, element, strengths and weakness, and when it can and cannot breed. Your foal will not always be white/gray unless of course you make it that way. Depending on its likes and dislikes is how its coloring and design will turn out. Even quests, and missions can alter a foals coloring!

  • Most letters and there items are expected. As well as, other items (such as store, commons, and uncommons) maybe accepted; however, you must first ask.


We do offer a payment plan for Avaling. At time of application exceptance you may pay 5k. Before the next stage is began you will then pay the remander of the adoption fee. Sorry, at this time there is no payment plan for Changelings.

These ponies & children can not be reproduced, or resold! If you no longer want your Adopted Changeling or Avaling it must be returned to The Adoption Thread, so we can find a new home for him/her.

As for a refund sorry... We don't give a refund due to the fact that each Changeling & Avaling is customized to you, and also our time was still taken up even if you were not around to enjoy it, or you simply just forgot.
