The Estate

Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the grounds at the moment, but I do have a rough sketch of Nightfall's stall.
Forgive my lack of artistic talent:

I suppose it's not exactly the typical concept of a stall, but I think the colors are restive. The small photo is from a long time ago, of myself and... a childhood friend.
I hope Nightfall takes as much comfort from it as I do.

Vesteri-My eldest son, and a competent water mage. Easy going and artistic, he's the most mellow member of my family.


Tru'in- Stubborn, angry, and occasionally downright dangerous. Less my son, and more simply under my guardianship. He lives with his mate, Ariun, and only stops by when he wants something.


Heliro-Little blue puffball of doom. He's a manifestation of my own darker thoughts, and not exactly fun to be around. I don't plan on letting him spend much time around Nightfall.


Rune-My younger son, polite and quiet. He's not big on doing chores and such though...

Well, before explaining the whole situation, I suppose I should explain myself, shouldn't I? Otherwise, my reactions may seem, well, to say the least.
My name is Kazaiko, or Kaze. Either works, and I accept the name 'Kazai' when I must. As long as I know the person's talking to me. Names are simple though aren't they? Not exactly saying much. Mine, which means, in part, wind, perhaps says more than most, but I don't expect people to realize that.
I'm not a native Gaian. My own home is a place called Scape, and I still travel regularly between the two. I couldn't say which I like better. Scape is a much darker place than Gaia.
But I'm a dark person.
Enough.
I was talking about the joy of recieving a changeling, wasn't I?
I've admired them from afar for quite awhile, and I have to admit I'm thrilled to recieve one of my own.
I've decided to call her Nightfall, and I'm attempting to set up my estate to recieve her. We've never had horses before.
Still, I will do my best, as will the rest of my family. I'm sure that as long as she's sheltered from the day to day chaos at first, she'll adjust quite well.
I've already arranged for her stable, though it's simple at the moment, I'm not sure what she'll want.
Just a nice, calm place, with a view of the stars, and fresh hay, not to mention the apples that were delivered.
I'll have to look into getting her more food tomorrow.

*yuki prances up carrying a small bundle and a note*

::Shiro in a bunny suit come wandering in. Baywater is right behind him with an egg in her bucket.::



::Shiro take's the egg and places it down. There was a note on it.::

Under the cover of night Tal trots up to your mailbox, with a gift held firmly between his teeth. being very careful not to tear it, he places it into your mailbox and rushes off into the night. When you reach in to see what is in there, you feel something soft. As you pull it out, you see...



There is a note attached which reads....

Well, that was unexpected. I checked my mailbox today to find it full of Easter gifts!
And that's not even mentioning the one that sort of... appeared in front of me.
Looks like I have quite the community to adjust to, but I get the feeling they're nice people.
I hope they can tolerate my more eccentric habits.
After a bit of thought, I put the plushies in the stall with Nightfall, but kept the egg for display in the house.
Nightfall tends to be restless, I'd notice, and I wouldn't want her to accidently breaking.
I went shopping today, an ordeal in my opinion, but needed if I want Nightfall to have something to eat.
Once the orchard comes into season, we'll have fresh fruit, but for now, I suppose it's store bought stuff.
I bought her:

I know, I'm spoiling her, but she seemed to like the cake though she'd only eat the cookies with icing on them.
Health food will come later.

Sundragyn and Seline approach quietly, and slip away, leaving this note behind:

I took little Nightfall to the HQ for the first time yesterday. I'm wondering if I may have jumped the gun a bit. She was very shy, not at all like the frisky young foal that I know and love. I wonder what it is about the others that intimidated her so much?
Maybe they were just unfamiliar.
I think, perhaps, I should introduce her to the rest of the family, instead of just Vesteri, so that she can get used to being around a number of people at once.
We will continue to go to the HQ until she gets used to it of course, but we'll take it in little steps.

Seras wanders in slowly carring something very soft and brown. She looks around for somone to give it to when she spots Kazaiko.
"Ahh I hope I'm not intruding. I have a special delivery to a Kazaiko
for Nightfall. Would that be you?" her words are quiet as she hopes not to bother anyone or interupt anyone.
"Its a gift from Kawaii_Hime_Ceres! A soft and fluffy horse plushie from the plushie barnyard. I hope your little one enjoys it!"



Seras hands you the lovable plushie and walks back to Gamble and remounts him to ride on to the next delivery!

**gently Valerin trots to your front yard and lightly places a whicker basket in an area of great light in your front yard connected to the whicker basket is a note**

Easter Egg Hunt:

We would like to meet Baywater and get to know her.
We love Forest's color and would like to have a playdate with him.
We would like to get to know Turner better to see what hes really like or if he is always a show off.
We would like to learn how to garden with Zekke.
We would like to learn more about flowers from Seline.
We would like to get to know Lighting better.
We would like to learn with Sati and Snowdrop.
We like to play with Tallagor and think hes a big flirt and Yuki likes him.
We would like to meet Nightfall, Valerin, Taran and Jimbo.

And Yuki is the best girl in the world.
And I am happy that Hoshi has joined us.

Now, I'm supposed to say something about why I like Seline? Um...

Okay. I like Seline because she's eclectic. Although her element does seem to be water, she adores flowers and has a flower on her leg, which is sort of contradictory but beautiful and I love it. I chose to represent the watery-ness of her with rain, which makes flowers grow. And after all, she loves rainstorms.

And there's a flower, which amazingly enough, Seline did not eat.

As for the others:

Snowdrop: I love the sheer awesome of an infinity symbol, I really do. That's all I have to say.
Lightning: He's Trouble, with a capital T. Gonna be a ladykiller? Er, marekiller.
Zekke: Seline loves him from a distance, if only because of another obsession with flowers.
Yukiko: Blueberries! I wonder if she likes saskatoons...
Turner: I've never heard of a horse that likes chocolate. Sweet. Pun unintended.
Forest: It's great that Forest is so interested in jumping... also, GREEN. Green is nice.
Bay Water: She's a clean little filly. I wish Seline was as neat. *glares fondly*
Tallagor: Hard to know what to say about such a new little guy, but, hey, everyone loves kickball.

Snow drop: Maybe meditation can calm Baywater's temper she sometimes throws. I should talk to Snowdrops owner.

Lightning: Oooooo, pretty horn, goes good with the yellow color.

Seline: Is she haunted by that ghost, or is it just the garden? I wonder...

Zekke: He was nice enough to give me and Baywater a easter gift, thank you!

Yukiko:Very pretty blue color... I just hope Oreg isn't that fond of his blueberries if they come out in his garden this year. We might find some missing if we have a visitor. ^.^;;

Turner: Got to love That flag!

Forest: I hope him and Baywater get to be good friends...

Baywater: She's my baby, She can be annoying, but in a cute way. Stuborn, just like me. Heh.

Tallagor: Don't know much about him, need to go find out.

Nightfall: A horse that likes to climb... eek I want to see.

Valerin: Scared of the dark, hmmmm... Maybe she should stock up with glow sticks...

Lightning:A brave changling - seems to be growing into a powerful unicorn - maybe he can show Snowdrop how to be more courageous some day?
Seline: A pretty nature loving foal from what I know, her flower markings reflecting her love for flora.
Zekke A quaint little foal who would have a lot in common with Sati with those powers!
Yukiko A pretty name for a pretty foal - she has a love of the colour blue I would say =)
Turner A foal with a curiously marked coat - looks almost bovine then equine!
Forest A foal who doesnt lack in love - such a wonderfully detailed set of plans and attention to detail =)
Bay Water An intriguing coloured foal - who seems to have a temper and a knack for painting =)

Jimbo Jimbo seems to have a loving owner (with a biig house)
Andromeda A foal with a celestial name.

Finally...Snowdrop...well what can one say about a foal whose stall looks more like a room of a house then a stable? Skittish, but brave when she needs to be she enjoys sweet fruits and being fussed - she really should have been a cat rather then a horse! Her character is larger then she is... =)

Snowdrop:
Haven't met her yet, but I hear she's good at running. We should have a race sometime!

Lightning:
A very handsome unicorn that we really need to meet sometime (such pretty yellow X3)

Seline:
I hope we can manage to befriend her, it's another foal we can have a race with! Though from what I hear, she's really shy...

Zekke:
Forest would really like a playdate with him - especially at Zekke's home, it seems so fascinating!

Yukiko:
It's too bad Hoshi is scolding her all the time, she's a nice filly that Forest really likes to play with.

Turner:
We've never met him, but he has the coolest cow-patterns to him. X3!

Bay water:
... I hope she's done hitting Oreg in the face with her bucket. ^^;

Tallagor:
Haven't really met him either but we look forward to having a playdate sometime (him and bronzed seem awfully friendly.)

Nightfall:
I heard she's good at climbing, that would make for an interesting playdate - its sorta the same as jumping, right?

Valerin:
I hear she's another one that is a good jumper, Forest will have to visit her and challenge her to a contest. XD

Taran:
Don't really know much about him, but look forward to finding out.

Jimbo:
We don't really know much about him either, a new arrival, we'll have to wait and see.

Snowdrop : Lightning has always wanted her speed cause he can't go very fast as we all know and he kinda likes her infinity sign too.
Seline : Lightning also envies the skilled runner but what he most admires is how she got 2 elements from a foal.
Zekke : *Whew...* Wow, another runner. Lightning is really impressed with the telekinesis thing and thinks its really cool. His colour totally fits him too.
Yukiko : Yuki's colour source is very interesting. The blue suits her a lot.
Turner : The fact that seperates him from the rest is the fact that he is that he is the only one so far that has his hooves colour changed
'Forest' : He's showing signs of becoming a pegasus, Mr. Nekota must have the tension I used to have before lightning became a uni. His great ability to jump is very impressive as well.
Bay Water : I believe we've met. Anyways, Lightning admires her skill to pull stuff. He kinda see's mustang in her. *No offence*
Tallagor : His ability as a good swimmer is very interesting and lightning is predicting that he could be a water elemental soon.
Nightfall : The first changeling to have good climbing ability. Its pretty impressive to lightning. Kinda like the mountain goat I've shown him a few days ago.
Valerin : She has the jumping ability thing too and I'm guessing, she might just be a pegasus someday?
Taran : I like his battle ready thing. I've always wanted lightning to get that ability. crying
Jimbo : He has the protectiveness of lightning too and lightning totally respects that and so do I.

Lightning : Lightning, there is much to be said about this horse from me, I've spent a lot of time with him and he has shown great courage in any attempt to protect his gang. (Mustang, posiden, magnum and myself) He is very protective and has a thing for his protective abilities. He has also shown me great leadership. He orders people around but at the same time is very down-to-earth.

Snowdrop
I like the fact that snow drop is curious about the things that go on around her, and is eager to learn. I also like her infinity symbol it really gives a strong bond between her and Sati. I hope they become great friends^_^
Lightning
I really know more about this one then the others^_^; mainly because his journal was the only one I got to before I received my Valerin, and I like the way he’s turning out, the stud^_~.
Seline
Even though she might be a bit of a show off I still enjoy, loves, and respects earth and water elements. Also her owner is very devoted to her little Seline and I respect that^_^
Zekke
I love his symbol; it reminds me of a night star. I also like that element that he has taken, telekinesis and mind reading are good attributes to have when you’re in a tight spot, use them well^_^.
Yukiko
I love that she loves blueberries^_^, even though they make me sick sweatdrop , but anyways I hope that she will enjoy them forever. Bonzai ^_^
Turner
Yay, cow spots ^w^, they are so cute^_^. The egg Idea was also awesome. I thought arrogance and bossy ness were on the same side though….it doesn’t matter I have both those attributes ^_^.**goes into song** Cows are great they make the world go round they make the cutest sound they go moo moo moo moo moo, cows are great **drones on**
Forest
I really like his room its very sheik^_^ and very themed O.O, but its beautiful and I like how it was designed. I also think that there should be more strong points to a horse named Rhythm of the rainforest^_^.
Bay water
I like her name^_^, but to more important things, I like the way you both worked together on her stable I think that’s very cute^_^. Also I would think that her being such a nasty temper would be hard to get her to carry things around…she would have to be in a good mood wouldn’t she?
Tallagor
Tal seems like a very nice horse^_^, never met her yet and I would really like to though. Who knows maybe Val and Tal would be great friends someday ^ w ^.
Nightfall
Hey I guess its good that her name and good qualities fit, I bet that him being so super clean makes her coat shine like the night stars^_^.
Taran
I really want to meet all the horses, Taran included. Being battle ready is always a good thing, and I like that she has a need for speed^_^.
Jimbo
I really like the name^_^, it’s cute. I must meet them all U_U, you’re on mine and Val’s list. ^_^
Valerin
And last but not least, my baby((hyotheticaly speaking^_^ wink ), hopefuly one day she will overcome her fear of the dark, but that might take awhile......I can hope cant I^_^;, anyways i love her dearly, and her stall is under consturction but it will be up soon, i hope shel likes it , well unfortunatley im going by my taste, so i might have to adjust it abitU_U. Shes my pride and joy and i would protect her for as long as she needs it^_^

Well! My darling is certainly popular.
Remind me to send gifts in return for all the beautiful things that we have recieved.
Nightfall is finally settled in, if not settled down. That girl sure is Vain! I've put a mirror up in her stall, and she can stare at herself for hours. And when she isn't admiring herself, she's bringing me her brush and demanding to be groomed. Not that I mind. At least she's calm when I'm grooming her.
She's a wild one. Loves to run more than anything, and is quite talented at navigating the slopes of the mountain behind the estate. I've taking to bringing her with me on my late evening hikes.
I've also been teaching her about the constilations in the night sky, just so she'll know what we're staring at every night. She seems to be taking well to it, and I'm glad.

I've planted a Mandarin orange tree in the grove, so now Nightfall has fresh oranges.

::Rouge comes trotting down the dusty path; a basket in mouth. Stuffed into the basket is an envelope, careful not to sway it to much as it contains egg. He sets it on the doorstep. Then he quickly turns around, and heads back down the dusty path and out of site.::

Not catching eyes of the humans, but smart enough to stay away as his father taught him... he neighed proudly, and slipped the note into the mail box. The cat jumped onto the mail box, curnled up, and naps awaing for when the note was picked up. The cat was holding a bag in its mouth. With the delivery done, Rouge neighs again, and trots back down the dusty road.::
