Welcome! I am Makihyu Hiashin,
and this is Edge, my very first art shop!
You like? Ah, the decor is a bit fancy and over-the-top,
but please don't be intimidated. I really am friendly. D:

you see, I need practice, and of course a bit of gold -

✭ Aug 7th, 2010 - Official Thread open and accepting orders!
✭ Sept 6th, 2010 - School's starting on the 8th -
I will finish the last of my summer orders/close off all new orders
until this weekend - after that I will be closing the microchibi
RL commish summer bonus and raising the prices a bit,
since I'll be quite busy this year. Sorry about the unexpected hiatus,
I just didn't feel like doing requests for a while.

maki likes:
✭ Avatars from any site, no clutter
✭ OCs/RPCs with reference + any added written details if necessary
✭ Anthro/hybrids/animals of the dragon/bird/dinosaur/fish/scaly sort,
will do furry tails/ears but I fail at cats/dogs/wolves/etc.
✭ Couples with simple interaction, like holding hands or walking/sitting together.
✭ Simple backgrounds, flat or abstract, to complement the art
✭ Cyborgs/Partial Machinery/Steampunk, will only do full mechas with refs
maki doesn't like/you may have to bribe for:
✭ Fanart/fancharacters.
✭ Portraits or caricatures of you, your friends, your whoever
✭ Portraits or caricatures of celebrities, actors/movie characters, etc.
✭ Nudity - at least bra/short-shorts for females and boxers for males.
✭ Couples/groups with intimate interaction, like hugging, kissing, etc.
✭ OCs/RPCs with only descriptions & no refs
✭ Gore.
✭ Extreme physiques (dangerously anorexic/obese, bodybuilder, etc.)
✭ Scenery/complex backgrounds, high bribe only
✭ Mechas without reference
This list is subject to change.

The obvious - don't be rude, don't break the ToS, don't steal,
don't run from payments, etc. Just don't be stupid.
I have my rights to this shop, like cancelling unstarted orders (with full refunds),
amending rules, changing prices (prices for orders already made will not change),
choosing poses, and refusing service.
Maki does not work on a first-come-first-serve basis -
I choose based on which orders I feel are most interesting/comfortable.
Likewise, I will respect your rights - you may cancel any orders I have not yet started,
you may ask me to make changes or fixes when I show you a WIP (to the best of my ability),
and you may edit the art I have drawn for you, the final version of which will be provided
as an unwatermarked PNG after payment is complete. Just be sensible about it.
