Everything is filled with junk at my house and room, too! I want an ottoman chair, too! crying But alas, it's the storage ottomans from Family Dollar for me! One holds my sister's and I's hoard of yarn, and the other holds our socks. There's two laundry hampers that hold our tshirts, too. So much stuff.... gonk Anyway, the story of the cursed shelf all started when our mom got hospitalized for a.... seasonal disease that starts with an "N" that I don't want to mention, but can only be cleaned with certain cleaners. Not fun, but since then, whoever would go near the bad shelf would bring either us or a loved one disease or bad luck for the worse. I don't know how, or maybe it's OCD, but the curse fulfilled itself no matter what. I don't need that negative energy in my life talk2hand
I'm not the best with DIY, but the tension rod wouldn't require screwing anything in, so that's a plus. I consider myself as more of a crafter than a DIY person, to be honest.
Nine days off? Congratulations, but man, the shelving is tough; the more they hold, the better! What will you put on them? That reminds me, I need to either declutter my bedroom and/or add another shelf thing, but don't know what it is. We want it to either be a hanging closet shelf, a shelf with an ottoman seat, or something I can DIY with a tension rod and a shelf with removable shelves to hold a future portable air conditioner close to the ceiling. It's hard because there was a cursed shelf there, and the area it was in hasn't been cleansed of the bad energy yet.
But anyway, it's good to rest; you've been busy lately, and you deserve your break! I miss your books on my profile :hugs:
