About
I am pretty unique.
I am (sometimes, amazingly to me) well-liked by most everyone who meets me. I am told that I have an infectious smile, and that I am really funny. (Some people have a hard time determining the difference between Sarcasm ans Serious.)
Most of the time, people assume I am between 5-10 years younger than I actually am, but occasionally someone will say I am 5 years older than I am - rarely are people right on!
I am quite old-fashioned when it comes to dating. I have very high standards. (There is only one person I have ever gone on more than one date with.)
I care about spelling things correctly and using complete sentences, but I am not grammar-obsessed (as evidenced by my ending sentences with hanging participles).
I am perfectly at ease speaking in public. I am a definite people-person; I like to talk. My friend, Christal, once said that if I were a candy I'd be Bubble Tape because I can talk for a long time, I have a lot of stories, and I can tend to go on and on. (Just tell me to shush and I will...for a bit. Exception being when I've had a few "adult beverages" -I won't even be quiet for a bit.)
I'm also very good with children; I love working with them.
I love books, milk chocolate (except Palmer's and Zachary - you know the cheap waxy stuff that pops up in holiday shapes and ginormous boxes for Valentine's Day), travel (though I don't get to very often), freshly laundered socks, music, Dragons (Western - not Eastern or Serpentine), romantic comedies, medieval history, and other people's kids (I don't have any of my own, but I'd like some when I'm married).

My main hobby is the Society for Creative Anachronism, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the study and reenactment of the Middle Ages. My SCA name is Lady Seadhli (pronounced SHAYlee). In the SCA, my interests within my hobby are children's games and activities, Norse Culture (Vikings), and trying new things (actually old things that are new to me). I am a member of House Ironwolf.
I also love to read, watch movies, and play board games and card games.
I hate to run. Literally.
In General, I like Star Trek better than Star Wars.
However my actual Preferences:
1. Star Trek: Voyager
2. Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
3. Star Trek: The Next Generation
4. Battle for Endor (I know it's not technically a 'Star Wars' movie, but it has Ewoks in it)
5. Star Wars: A New Hope
6. Star Trek: Enterprise
7. Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back
8. Star Trek: Deep Space 9
9. Star Trek (TOS)
10. Star Trek: Generations (First one I saw in the Theatre!)
11. Star Trek: Nemesis
12. Star Trek: Insurrection
13. Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
14. Most Other Star Trek Movies
15. Episodes 1-3 of Star Wars
16. Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan
I really want to see the new Star Trek movie.
I have no desire to see Clone Wars.
