What were the medieval times?
The "medieval times" was an era in history which bluntly involve the use of a monarch system of government. You've probably seen programs on television, video games, books, and movies where they have things such as
● Kings, Queens, Princesses, Princes, Knights, Peasants, etc.
● Dragons, quests, "Witches", castles, moats, various torture systems, etc.
● Fighting with the use of swords, shields, bows, spears, maces, etc. Most accompanied by a warhorse.
● And much, much more!
Why do you call it a bunch of different names?
There are various ways of describing this era in time (don't quote me on this, my sources may not be so correct). Such as
● The Medieval Times
● The Middle Ages
● Old Times / Old Days
● Old England/Europe
They are all essentially describing the approximate age in time, however some people just like to call it different things. Tomato, Tomoto. It's nothing you need to worry about.
I'm still not quite sure, what are some examples of medieval environments?
Have you ever seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail? The Chronicles of Narnia, or even Shrek? These are all basic examples of the Medieval Times. 3nod
What if I don't know a lot about the Medieval Times?
No worries! This guild is for anyone who is even mildly fond of this era, you don't have to know a lot, and you certainly don't need to be obsessed with it or anything. This is purely for anyone who even wants to learn a bit more about it, and for those who are looking for a medieval-based RP.
