I'll admit I'm taking pleasure in working the muscles of debate. If I don't face criticism, well-reasoned or otherwise, I can bet that my skills will remain unchallenged, my abilities will atrophy and I'll be less motivated to keep digging deeper into the defense of rational thought.
So for now, this is fun. But it's probably the only thread I'll ever bother with. Rohkaze is doing a kickass job backing me up, and between he and I it's fair to say this thread is kicking considerable a**.
Damn man... you got real lucky. I don't want to sound cynical about ED, but having a differing opinion usually means being 1 against 100. I remember debating with PockyBot... hit and run posters would pop in to back him up. "You tell him PockyBot!" And my back up would get fed up with it before me. I could swear that I was literally talking to a brick wall sometimes. And that's just PockyBot.
Holy Christmas Jew... was that ever a frustrating experience...
