I enjoy my faith and I do think people should have a faith because they have something to believe in, if you don't have faith then what do you have? I wish people could see how good it is to have a faith but, other people's opinions are other people's opinions I can't change them

Because some people seem to think(wrongly) that you need to have God/religion in order to have morals and be a good person.

Which is the farthest thing from the truth.

I've met people who are Christian and are really shitty people. And I've met atheists who are wonderful people and do great things.

I think it's not sensible to believe in god. If people don't want to be sensible, that's their business, but more relevantly, it shapes their view of the universe. In a place where most everyone has the same view of the universe (like a dominantly Lutheran town or a church group or something), it's an affront to have someone say, "well, everything you base your life on is wrong". So that's probably why they're uptight about it.

It's just another part of the indoctrination. If you're taught that is is fundamentally wrong /not/ to have a religion, you're less likely to fall through the cracks. The whole point of religion, in my opinion, is controlling of the masses. So by making you think that not accepting their word is wrong, they tighten their grip on the given audience.

When I started in Highschool people treated me nicely ASSUMING I had some religion.

When I told them I had no religion they ignored me and rubbed me off like some kind of disease. Shows that even if you have a religion you could be a complete a*****e.

The people that stayed by my side though and are still by my side even after highschool are awsome. They didn't hate me for not having a religion.

They asked if I don't have a religion do I at least think there is some god somewhere controlling the universe or something.

I said no and they still love me :]
I told them THE PERSON I HAVE FAITH IN, THE PERSON I BELIEVE IN TO DO THE BEST FOR ME, THE PERSON I KNOW WHO WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR ME....

is me. I believe in me. That is my religion.

I wish the faithful could see how pointless it is to have faith in something that illogical and has no proof.

I live every minute of my life without worring about what is sin and what isnt. Hell, if there is a god, he gave us free will, so what is wrong about using what we were given.

Faith in a religion give absolutly nothing that you dont already get from life. And im am yet to hear a reasonable responce to refute my clame.

Not really, its all simple logic. You can only truly be a nonconformist is everything about you and your actions are totally origional, which in this world is impossable.

No matter how individual you think you are, you have qualities based off some other group of people, be it your cloth style, personality, whatever it is, you are conforming with them in that aspect.
