A matter I felt should come to everyone in this guild's attention- Not to sound formal or anything.
We've had an outbreak of Sakura bashers in Forbidden Love, and I'd like it to stop. Somewhat desperately.
Now, that's acceptable- to dislike Sakura, or SasuSaku/NaruSaku. It's your opinion. But making lame threats at people who like Sakura, or like the pairings SasuSaku and NaruSaku, or saying you'd hate them for it?
THAT IS NOT OKAY. These people are just as entitled to their opinions as you are. Insulting them for their opinion is neither kind nor respectful. You aren't giving these people what they deserve as living, breathing creatures.
It would be more than beautiful if in the rules there was something against bashing- they're characters, and don't deserve the insults. I've PMed Akiru on the matter, asking her to help me make this stop.
SAKURA DESERVES YOUR RESPECT. If she wasn't in this series, Naruto and Sasuke wouldn't have grown to become the people they are today, and we wouldn't even be able to have SasuNaru because they would have killed each other by now.
You can dislike her. You can even hate her. But guys, insulting people for having a different opinion???
[SIDENOTE:
While on the subject, no one in this series deserves to be treated this way. Come on. By bashing them, you're bashing Kishimoto-sensei, and by bashing Kishi, you bash every character he's ever created, which includes Naruto and Sasuke. Please don't bash in this forum. It's not polite, and it's beyond not nice.
A shoutout to all of my fellow mods in Forbidden Love- Please, please, PLEASE help me to make this stop.
EDIT: Due to some confusion apparently, I'll sum up my point:
Bashing is not tolerable in this guild. The purpose here is to enjoy SasuNaru, not hate on other characters.

I agree that it should be stoped, but I am NOT going to respect Sakura. I don't bash her, hate her, or like her. She's just...there, to me. Demanding members to respect her isn't going to get what you want here.

I agree that it should be stoped, but I am NOT going to respect Sakura. I don't bash her, hate her, or like her. She's just...there, to me. Demanding members to respect her isn't going to get what you want here.

In my weak defense, I was pissed when I wrote that- But they're all Kishimoto's characters, and in my opinion direspecting them is the same as disrespecting him. I know, it's MY opinion- I'm not Naruto, I can't b***h-slap you into believing what I believe, but I really felt I should get that assosciation (Even if it's just in my head) out there.

She's not even in the way...she's just...there...I know Naruto has a crush on her, at least in the beginning of the series, but whether he realizes it or not, Sasuke always seems to come first. ^^ I don't like her, but I don't bash her. She's not all that influential to me really.

Yeah,she's not in the way of our yaoi fandom,she's just part of a complete team.Otherwise,it would be more aggresive and Naruto wouldn't really have a purpose in bringing Sasuke home if they really weren't gay(just IF,not saying they aren't,just IF),because without his promise to her about bringing Sasuke home,that whole 'valley of the end' fight,and any of Naruto's obsession of bringing Sasuke home wouldn't exist,he would just laugh it off,and joke around how much Sasuke is a wimp and just ran away from his 'greatness'.Don't bash any of them!
Telling people to stop believing in SasuSaku or NaruSaku..is like telling Kishimoto-sensei to stop making Naruto!
And Kishimoto-sensei to stop making Naruto without knowing if Sasuke and Naruto will REALLY be together..is the apocalyspe!!!

I agree with Kalio
Sakura may not be my favorite character, but she is essential in Naruto. as Kalio said she is the mediator between Sasuke and Naruto.
I don't like her, nor love her. I just feel she is a very important character in the anime. Besides in Shippuuden she actually begins to kick a**, which does give me a reason to respect her alot more. 3nodding

Even if you don't particularly care for Sakura, you should still have a certain amount of respect for her, as she is maturing very well and finally showing how well she can fight. I'll admit she acts kinda stupid at times, but c'mon! Look at who she has to deal with every day!

I'll agree with this, even though Sakura is EXTREMELY annoying and weak too me. She is essential to Sasuke and Naruto's development, and she gets MUCH better in Shippuden. Everyone is entitled to there opinion, the only time I SERIOUSLY bash her is when me and someone else are having a couple fight.....XD those are so fun.

I completely agree. I didn't like Sakura at frist because of her fangirl habits and letting it get in the way of life. After the time skip she matured and I like her much more and respect her and she is a yaoi fangirl, come on you have to like that.

Hmm, well. I just plain don't like Sakura. It's not because of her weakness (though she gets better in later episodes), it isn't because of bashing, or other stuff. I just really don't like her. Her personality bugs me. I don't like Tenten (she has no character depth), or Ino either (she reminds me of Sakura). People obviously won't like a certain character in any tv show they watch, it's meant to be. I don't think it really matters. Yeah, Sakura sorta brings together the Yaoi goodness that I know and love, but...she just annoys me. That's about all.
