Hey! I'm Rin, usually pronounced Lin, but I'malso called Tori. I love to write, even though my
spelling could use some work; I love reading,
especially manga and fantasy, I love anime (duh), although these
days I'm more into Sci-Fi (thank you Stargate for 15 seasons
to catch up on...). I'm a bit of an Anglophile, and as such I'm
prone to rants about the wonders that are British TV.
I went to Japan a few summers ago--and it was awesome!
I wish we could have stayed for longer than two weeks...
I have lots of pretty pictures and can't wait to go back!
I'll be spending next semester in Scotland and am very
excited for the opportunity. blaugh
I share a brain with two other people--Aya-chan and
Gure-san. On occasion an outsider wanders in, but
they have to run away before they get eaten by penguins.
(Everyone who understood that gets a brownie.)
Oh yeah, in addition to that, it's been decided that
my name and Gure's name got mixed up. But since
we've gotten used to me being Tori and her being Gure,
I've now become Shi-chan as well, and she's been
dubbed Haa-san too.
My favorite characters from any anime/manga
are as follows:
In 5th place, Roy Mustang.
In 4th, Hatake Kakashi.
In 3rd, Sohma Kyo.
And in a tie for first, Hitsugaya Toshiro
and Nara Shikamaru.
I seem to like the ones nobody knows best...
And Zuko. He's beyond being placed on lists. ^_^
I love to write and won NaNoWriMo this year. Now, all I need
to do is 1) figure out how to make my characters fall in love
realistically (considering they initially hate each other)
and 2) GET THESE DAMN VOICES OUT OF MY HEAD! STOP
TELLING ME WHAT TO DO IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO TELL ME
WHAT YOU DID!!! AAAAAARGGGG!!!!! stressed *strangles
characters in head*
Anyone else have that problem? *smiles*
