This is a journal for Emo-The-Pirate to use as she coaxes her Fenthry out of its feather and has lots of fun adventures with it. Please don''t post here unless May has given you permission! Kagei Seems that the love of a great friend and this new found care for his sibling has really brought Kagei out of his shell, the adorable Fenthry now stands at nearly 12 inches, but is still the same gentle, shy fenthry he's always been on the inside. Maine Maine sure has gone through a lot! It seems that all of his adventures, problems, fights and encounters have really helped him to grow. The young fen, though in a state of mental insanity for the time being, is now a gentle, kind fenthry with little memory of his past. He stands around 9 inches.

Kagei's first ever present, from May herself! I gave him this to celebrate his first word, which I believe was greets. He was saying Greets To You for days, just to see if I would get him another present. Hes so cute!! He loves to snuggle in it's nightmare scarf and poke the eyeball on its panda hat. He decided to call it pony, afterall thats what it is. He's grown up a lot since he recieve dthistoy, and barely acknowledges it now, but he does often stroke the soft fur to remember his childhood...

YoYo is a little female Fen who kagei took a liking to right away. He helped her learn her first english word, hello, and he also shared a bit of his favorite candy with her as a peace offering. As far as I know, they're a couple now. And, according to a snapshot taken by Mahii, the two are very much in love.
Rioko is an ash-grey fenthry who was born around the same time as Kagei. The two talked once or twice when little, and once YoYo began talking to him, Kagei began to do so as well. He's more of a little party animal now, even him and Kurenai have split up over it. Although, Kagei asures me he's just being himself.
Keydin was one of Kagei's aquaintances when they were children, I guess both of them were obsessed with pirates, keydin more so than Kagei. I promised that I'd get Kagei a wooden pirate ship, and I did...but we never saw keydin again.

Ieta is maine's twin, a sweet and kind little fen with a speech problem, but she's very smart and has mastered sign language. There was a time when Maine refused to speak to her, or even look at her, but lately he has been saying how much he longs to see his sister.
Sakura is a terrible cruel little fen, she has wounded her brother numerous times, and maine at least twice. Although Maine said that he can't stand her anymore, he seems to be drawn to her once again. I think he has this lingering feeling that he wants to protect her, he wants so badly to keep the only person who ever gave him any serious attention safe.
Koe, one of the adorable, yet shy fen that Maine has met recently. He thinks that Koe is quite charming, especially with his shyness. He has told me that he wants to get to know Koe and his sister Kaju better.
Kaju is one of Maine's favorite fenthry, he finds her irresistible. I think he is just simply awestruck by how adorable and innocent this little bunny fenthry is. He tought her the meaning of family, and also wants to teach her some Native American words.

Koe, a very shy fenthry who told Femi a few stories. He was very kind to her, and held her very gently. She likes the sound of his voice, it seems, and his stories.

Kagei
May says she wants to adopt another fenthry, I don't know why, she's got her hands full with Maine as it is. Still, she says that the striped feather is taunting her, whenever she looks into that case, she sees that feather, collecting dust for over a year, just waiting for her.
Maybe it would be good for May to take care of a baby again, it seems to relax her whenever she's around small creatures, I still remember how flushed and smiley she was when I was a child. Always parading me about, laughing, teaching, such a wonderful, kind woman. Now, all she has time for is studying up on Maine's condition and working to keep up rent and food, while still trying to fit in time to take us both to the society every day. Let alone ake me to meet with YoYo. I don't know when she sleeps.
I think it would be good for Maine and I, too. Maine was never a loving little brother, and I think I would like a chance to have a younger fen look up to me with proud eyes and a smile. Maine migiht keep busy helping take care of a new brother, too ,so May won't have to watch him all the time. Still, we have't even asked D-Chan yet, so who knows.
I saw YoYo at the society a while back, she's so pretty. It seems that Rioko noticed her beauty, because he sure was fawning over her when I got there. Still, he respects the fact that she's taken, he wasn't hitting on her or being touchy or foreward. I think I'd like to talk to him, we should really become closer friends.

Maine
I met a real angel today.
Her name was Kura, and she was a kitsune with special dark powers, and she could even talk to me with her mind just by putting her paw on my chest. She was nice, and very smart, and told me that one day my own powers would show. I hope I have some kind of shadow power like her, maybe even fire. Fire...my ankles tingle, all of the sudden.
It's so odd, lately I'll be looking at someone or something, and it will make me feel sick to my stomach. As if somehow, whatever I'm looking at or thinking about has something to do with me. Like earlier today, I saw a blue fen with a strange woman, she had brilliant red hair and was comforting Kurenai. When my eyes rested upon her, I could feel an emptyness in my heart, and I felt like my mouth was full of blood. The taste, the warmth...It makes me think I've done somehting to hurt her. But, I can't remember her...
I'd like to talk to Rioko again, and I'd also like to meet that light blue fen that May was speaking to, he seemed very shy. It's funny, really, how all of the light-furred fen are shy, but my fur is almost all white and I'm not very shy at all. Maybe I was before, but I think I've always been like this. Or maybe not...My head hurts.
I wish I could remember.

May I recieved a female feather today, D-Chan let me care for her because the one with hte beautiful stripes was adopted by a sickly boy a while back. I had no recolection of this, especially since ther eis no sight of his journal or his fenthry. Ah well, this will be the first time I've raised a female, well, anything, and I'm really looking forward to it.
The boys have no idea yet, Kagei was too busy with Younai on the couch having a tickle fight, and Maine was hiding up on the rafters before drifting down like the little anti-angel he is and talking to D-Chan's bunny fen, Kaju. It really was an adorable sight. But, judging by Nightstar's face and balled-up fists, he wasn't very happy at all. He should know that Maine is, well, most likely interested in males. I don't want to go all out and say my fenthry is homosexual.
Now, back to Femi, the new beige, blue-tipped feather. Even after being concieled so long, I think I saw her quiver while koe whispered stories to her. He really is a sweet little en. I hope he will let me introduce him to my boys, perhaps he'll get over his fear when he sees how nice and normal they can be. Hehe.

Maine
Nightstar is an odd fenthry. He's so jealous of me and Kaju, I can tell. It's not like i'm interested in her, or anything, I'm just affectionate towards children, I suppose. She is awfully cute, those pretty flowers on her coat and those dark green wings.
She can't speak very well yet, so she mostly just hops around like a real bunny and spouts out the few words she does know. I think I'd like to teach her some Native American words, like may did with me and Kagei. It's weird how many of those words I've been using lately, I think I might've called her Kini while we were talking. And, I had to bite my lip to avoid full sentances, 'Ure Saidah Kini.' and something about 'Mansi.' Gosh, that'll sure confuse her. Maybe May should start speaking english to us again. x3
I was listening to a lot of music yesterday n May's computer, and I found some bands that I really like. Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Breaking Benjamin, Mae, and Nine Inch Nails. She listens to a lot of weird stuff, too, but I didn't really like it. It was mostly techno and trance, it's kinda weird. Maybe I'll take May's CD's and have Kaju listen to some of the music. I think we could be good friends.
Speaking of May, she's been acting very strange lately, she hasn't been sick but sometimes she'll just sleep all day and she spends a lot of time in the bath. I hope she's alright, she looks a little plump. Maybe she's got the bloat.

May I'm so proud of Maine, he's actually talking to other fenthry with a smile on his face. Particularly Koe, who he's been very kind to, and it seems they've been talking quite a lot about nothing in particular. I think Maine has really been discussing Femi a bit, too, he seems to already have a conncetion with the beautiful beige feather. He does nothing but stroke it's surface and gently play at the delicate tufts of hair sprouting form the quill. I really hope he and Koe can become friends.
As for Kagei, he and YoYo actually left one another's side for a while to go meet the others, or just catch up with long lost fenthry. Kagei met Skyfire all over again, he remembered her. The two tlaked for a while, and Sky took him to meet Naolin, an adorable plush pony that Flame recieved. Kagei seems to be getting along quite well with her, perhaps he'll have a friend to spend time with, now.
As for Femi, I've noticed she's beginning to quiver form time to time, like when watching telivision. I'll be simply sititng there, watching the Discovery Channel or what not, and she'll sway the tiniest bit. Maybe the long sotries on the telivision remind her of Koe. He was telling her a few stories the first day I recieved her. She should emerge any day now, I hope it's soon, I can't wait to see her.

May I've been keeping this secret so long that it is barely containable anymore. The life forming inside of me is something far too precious to expel to just any person, even my dearest friends have no idea. Hell, I'm sure my fen don't even know. Afterall, my stomach is not very round, even at nearly 8 months. It's often hidden under this skeleton sweatshirt, so it would be hard to notice anyways. All I know is, Aponi will be here soon, and when he is...boy will everyone be confused.
'Since when did you have a baby?' Oh boy, will everyone be surprised. I hope noone is angry, but I must keep it a secret, afterall...they'd just ask who the father is, when did this happen, when's he do? And that is none of anyone's business but my own...I suppose I sound rather cruel, but I must keep it all within me. All I can even write on paper about this child is thus: His name is Aponi, and his father is Enelmiroue. And he will never be a normal child.
Femi will probably connect with him very well, being such a young child, and a female. I don't know how he'll react to the boys. He's been moving around quite a bit...any day now.

8.12.05- Happy Birthday.

The child looked at me like I was insane for parading him about in my arms, eyes so full of pride I thought they would burst into rivers of tears. Thankfully that didn't happen, he was confused enough as it was, the last thing he needed to see was me bawling and stuttering, 'My beautiful little boy, I'm so proud.' Those dark green eyes watched me, eyesbrows narrowed in interest, before his mouth crept into a little smile. Then, he chuckled, and that chuckle became a full on giggle. Of course, I laughed with him, what else can you do when your 'child' is happily grinning in your arms on his official day of birth?
After a few more moments of spinning and tossing, I caught the little pale child in my arms and brought him down the the cold wooden floor, were he stumbled a bit out of dizzyness before flashing me a large grin, allowing his body time to settle before tottering to the couch to sit and prepare for his promised present. He sat, rather loud, emitting a 'thump' sound form the couch, he looked compeltely calm, although his large smile said otherwise. After leaving the room for a moment, I returned with his long awaited present, laying the gift box onto his lap and sititng on my knees to watch him. Aponi simply stared a little longer, I reassured him with a smile, and he began tearing at the bright pink wrapping paper, tossing the white bow to the floor along with the crumpled casing of the box.
"What's this?"
"A wish doll."
The child turned his present over in his hands, the soft cloth on the delicate, ghost-shaped doll tickling his fingers as if it were woven with feathers. His fingers twitched, obviously sensation had struck the little tools.
"What's it for?"
"Granting wishes, of course."
He held up the doll, it was dusted a very light pink across it's face, the same pink adorned it's bottom half, which resembled a dress. He stared hard at the little heart marks on it's face, and a smile crept across his lips when he saw two pink circles around what were supposed to be eyes.
"What's this pattern?"
"Well, he's a panda. Panda's have neat circle patterns around there eyes."
"...I like it, Mama."
I simply smiled as he placed the doll neatly back into the box and leaned foreward, capturing me for a hug within his child-sized arms. He hugged as tight as he could, and I gladly encircled my arms over him small body to embrace him back. He nuzzled into my neck childishly before sighing and letting go, looking lovingly at his doll.
"Happy Birthday, Aponi."
