I can endure my own despair emo 'Tis true. My teacher is a biased Catholic, so everything he says comes out basically "It was their fault; they're jealous because we're the best and we're all Christian." -Scotty is offended in her Athiestness and lack of pride- Just..learning about how settlers and the government treated Native Americans, Africans, and went out to try and colonize, Christianize and civilize other countries.. It makes me really really ashamed!! I know it shouldn't, since I haven't done anything like that personally, but still..
And the fact that my teacher somehow manages to connect EVERYTHING back to the fact that he's Catholic and therefore it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. AUGH. Oh, and I'm not the only one. Lots of people I know in that class are also either Agnostic or Athiest. Or Jewish.
Discuss Classes that frustrate you Scotty isn't anti-Catholics, just obnoxious people; any religion. Is it just me who is ashamed? D: OMG MY LIVEJOURNAL, ADD ME PLZ. Or am I just being an annoying b***h? But not another's hope.

{SONATA} -->W. T. F. I'm Catholic, and while I do feel a certain pride for it, I don't try to shove it in other people's faces. I can't really understand the things other Christians do, either-such as *insert big long list here that I'm too lazy to put the whole thing and its sources*
Since it is populated by humans, America can't help but be...well, human. Though I think we were better off back then than now...America's really getting the bashing these days, sometimes it's for good reasons.
Haha, yes I posted a comment in your LJ. xDWinter is on my head, but eternal spring is in my heart.

As I really don't feel any religous pride towards my religoun, I do strongly keep straight to the Jewish race.
I am an LJ lurker. Write a fanfiction, and I'll read it. :3

Okay, I am Christian and proud.
But O hate it so much when people shove beliefs and such like that down each others' throats.
Whatever happened to tolerance, people?

I have nothing against Catholics but I consider myself agnostic. Then again I am Mexican which makes me part Aztec meaning the Spanish are the ones who came and tried to convert the Aztecs. And raped their women and ended up making the Mexican race. >.>

Well, I'm a Catholic and proud of it... But saying Catholism is the best religion is bullshit. Not one religion is better than the other religions. And.....yeah. That's pretty much it.

I'm not really one religion- I mean, technically, yes, I'm Catholic. I support all religions, though, or perhaps a better way to put it is that I support the tolerance of other religions. And atheists, too. I don't understand- Catholicism teaches that everyone gets saved and all, so why should your teacher care about what you believe? If he really believed in heaven and Jesus and all that, he'd KNOW it didn't matter. Anyone who claims to believe that God loves everyone and then forces their beliefs on someone else is a hypocrite. Sorry, Scotty. I get ashamed too, whenever I'm part of a group that hurt people in the past. I know I didn't do anything, but the guilt's still there.

WAIT.
-atheist highfive-
Now that that's over with, yeah. We had "atheist" as a spelling work a while back, and all the kids were like, "WHATS WRONG WITH THEM THEY GO TO HELL LOL!".
talk2hand And this one catholic comic made me want to shoot myself in the leg to distract myself from the pain. I'm not even gonna post the link unless someone wants to see it. Seriously. It made my jaw drop.
My friend called me a heathen once and I was all " emo ". After that me and my Japanese atheist buddy ran up to her and pointed out all the flaws of her religion and she tried to defend it but failed. rofl She no longer talks about religion.
Theres nothing wrong with Catholic people. Just the certain few that decide that their religion is the best and try to convert others. Those who do that should be lined up and shot. talk2hand
:3 KAY I'M DONE WITH RANT.

There's just as many flaws with atheism as there is with any other religion. neutral
She's probably just concerned about you, is all. I mean, she shouldn't have said that...but I think that was just a LITTLE uncalled for. neutral
I also find it funny that, if Christians insulted athiesm, we'd be called out and called the most degrading things, but if atheists insult Christianity or whatever it's the most hilarious thing in the world. ._.

you should have just left me
Yes, every religion has its flaws. According to this quiz, I'd make a better pagan than a Christian. But I really can't say I fit into any category. Many of my philosophies are a little...weird. I mean, I honestly don't believe in hell. =]

What gets me is how people say they're tolerant of other religions and beliefs, and yet, when given the opportunity, they'll completely slam other religions and claim their religion is the best and all others miserably phail.
That angers me to no end. I'm a Christian and a few of my good friends are atheist/agnostic, and I get along with them just fine...but if they start insulting me or my religion and whatever, then there's HELL to pay, ironically enough.

D: I get a right. She was ignoring me for half the day and telling other people who had no right to know. It lasted like, 4 minutes anyway. It wasn't a big ordeal. I guess I missworded it. It was more questioning her religion. Not evil bombarding. Not shoving believes. Questioning.
;.; I don't slam other religions. Seriously. Most people think I'm Catholic anyway. Because I never talk about it. Therefore I never slam other religions. INSIZZORS DOES NOT PARTICIPATE IN SUCH BOMBARDINGS OF BELIEFS THAT SHE HATES OH SO MUCH.
THIS POST IS IN NO WAY AN ATTEMPT TO START AN ARGUMENT BECAUSE I KINDA HATE ARGUING.
