YAY ME!!! biggrin biggrin biggrin
I'm so excited! I spent hours on that damn application and now I can put this on all my college applications this summer! I was so nervous I wouldn't make it though. sweatdrop I was shaking and everything. I used to have anxiety disorder but I took some medication and battled my brain to get rid of it. It came back temporarily this afternoon at the ceremony. xd
Discuss: Awards and such College applications Letishia's reappearing anxiety disorder

I can endure my own despair
I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU. heart I was going to apply, but didn't have enough volunteer hours or leadership positions. gonk My senior friend told me to make stuff up. xD BUT. I did get nominated for membership in this Honor Scholar Society thing, from the Nobel family; the ones who did that Nobel prize thing. I don't know who nominated me. gonk
But not another's hope.

Really? Cool!
Haha... thanks. I spent forever on my application thinking up all the stuff I did. I think being a Squad Leader during the band season and volunteering for Sunday School preschool helped a lot. xd I hadn't done those things think of NHS though. I'm really glad I did. Maybe you can make it in senior year? You could put down tutoring kids in music as leadership and/or volunteer at a school helping out music students so you can have fun while getting credit for NHS.

I want to laugh... {SONATA} -->Huh. That's weird, I heard you only need a 3.25 GPA to join.
Anyways, congrats, Letishia! 4laugh *gives rainbow llama plushie with one of those graduation caps*
I'm in the National Junior Honor Society. I didn't think my essay was good enough, yet it was. Why do all my essays keep on helping me-I mean, I won the essay contest at my school, and two of my other essays were submitted to other essay contests. D: I think my current writing style sucks. Winter is on my head, but eternal spring is in my heart.

When has it become so easy to cry, It's higher at our school because almost everyone makes A's, I guess confused Everyone passes around their report cards during advisory because no one ever fails xd
If you get a B, they kick you out surprised That's kinda why I don't want to be in it. Everyone would know that I got a B or lower.
I want to laugh...

Do you have a tutor? They help. I have this teacher who helps me and a few other kids with math during my 8th period study hall. I swear I spend 2-3 hours on math a day just to keep myself from failing it. sweatdrop I'm such a numbskull when it comes to numbers...
At my school you need at least two "points" but more are perferable. Each activity is worth a certain number of points and the activity must be completed in your junior (or senior) year. I had:
Color Guard - 1 point Winter Guard - 1 point Musical - 1 point Drama Club - .50 points Youth 2 Youth Club - .25 points Spanish Club - .25 points Total - 4 points

When has it become so easy to cry,
All the parents want their kids in Algebra for some reason neutral The funny thing is, 70 percent of the class had to drop to Pre-Algebra because they failed.
I go to a rich school where all we care about is football. We spend all of our tax funds on FREAKING FOOTBALL. [/rant]
We are the school that wins US NATIONALS every freaking YEAR. We haven't lost in like, 6 years or something gonk
I want to laugh...

I go to a public school where a bunch of kids are grade crazy, a bunch of kids are normal, and a bunch of kids just don't give a s**t.
