TAINTED BLOOD
In the eighteenth century, the entire world, at least above ground, was going through a vampire scare. There were constantly rumors of such a disturbing, haunting undead race. Many deaths were constantly blamed on 'vampires.' They had sharpened teeth, they sucked blood, they raised the dead, they could turn into bats, they could turn others into them, they were supernatural, they could only be killed with a stab through the heart.
Of course. Such things aren't true, are they? No no, of course not. Such things couldn't possibly be true. How? It was like saying that fairies were real, unicorns were real, centaurs, elves, dwarves, sprites, gnomes, even magic itself - were real.
But of course, one young boy found out that fairy tales could come true.
So why couldn't nightmares?
It is known that some humans have enough magic in their blood to at least perform the mesmer- the most simple of all magic tasks. But some humans are another breed entirely. In fact, they can't even be called 'human.' Just like how elves are completely different from sprites, vampires are completely different from humans.
Some of the rumors of vampires are true, and some are not. It was false though that they could turn into bats, and false that they could only be killed with a stab through the heart.
The true facts are-
They have sharpened canines - this is obviously for puncturing the skin so that blood will flow easily.
They suck blood and live off of it - blood is 'real food' to them. They can only consume liquids, as their bodies cannot handle solid foods and it would make them sick.
They can raise the dead - basically this would last for as long as a week until the re-animated corpse resumed to its silent state. Also, that animated corpse cannot be out in daylight, but a vampire can.
They can turn other humans into them - although at times this may go wrong. Basically, for this to happen a vampire must feed off of that human and that human in return must drink the blood of that same vampire. In the next week or so a great deal of changes in the body would happen - which would mean that the hormones would go a little off the scale, seeing that it takes a human body years to mature while this is practically forcing the body to mature in a matter of days or weeks, and that would probably be the most noticed effect of it all.
They can only be killed if - their head is separated from their body, or if they are burned to death. This also means that they heal from other wounds.
Garlic does not affect a vampire at all - only an animated corpse is turned away by the odor.
Crucifixes do have an affect on the vampire, but only if the person wielding it has belief that it does. It can keep away a new inexperienced vampire, and can scare away an animated corpse, but an experienced vampire may only flinch at the sight.
Holy water is like acid to them - unlike the fairies, which it has more of a drug-like affect on.
In daylight vampires have just as much strength as humans do - during the night hours though, when the sun is down, they have more supernatural-like powers. Especially, like all 'magical' creatures, during a full moon.
Vampires can blend in with humans, and for the most part, can live like one. So, just think, your next-door neighbor could end up sucking your blood one night.
There are many more than one would think in this world. Sure, it is a great deal less compared to how many mud men- oh, excuse me - humans there are, but they are there. At least fifty or so in each country, maybe more, maybe less.
Of course, how did these vampires come about? Well, some say that a group of warlocks put a curse on a group of humans, attempting to actually kill them during the great war between humans and fairies. Well, it 'killed' them, so to speak, but they were not 'dead.' They had no blood in their body, they had no functioning organs, nothing, and yet somehow they were all still alive.
The only thing that kept them alive was magic pulsing through their veins, leftover from the warlocks spell, and blood that was circulated by the magic itself. Of course, they could not supply themselves with their own blood, so they adapted and fed off of other creatures. Not just humans, but other animals too. Of course, many vampires prefer human blood to the rest, as it is the only blood that they know of that tastes good - for other animal blood tastes bitter.
Vampires of today do not know of fairy blood either, so they would not know the taste of it. But there are rumors popping up of strange creatures with mechanical wings buzzing about the sky occasionally in the vampire realm*. They are only seen at night, seeing that a vampire's senses are heightened then. No vampire yet has been able to catch one. Well, of course until...
One fateful night, a LEPrecon officer was found dead. Two puncture holes in his neck and the majority of his blood drained. One vampire that night had found himself quite a tastey meal.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mud Men, Fairies, Magic, Demons, Boy Geniuses, and now...
Vampires.
<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
*Vampire Realm - This means the vampire community of a sort. There is no actual place where just vampires live or anything like that. They're all scattered about the earth, but most vampires know who else is a vampire, & they do meet eachother on occasion & speak with eachother of, well, normal life, & even just vampire ordeals & so on. You get the point.I give credit to my first Vampire role-play for the ideas of how a vampire should be. I believe that this is a very believable form if vampires were to be real.

So, obviously we will need some rules here, won't we?
Rules
Note- I reserve the right to change these as I see fit at any time.
1. This role-play is literate! That means AT LEAST two paragraphs per post! I can understand writers block occasionally, really, I have it sometimes too. I just do not want any - *walks in*. That also mean to use proper spelling & grammar.
2. Please, use something such as a size nine or ten font. It is much easier on my eyes, & I like color-coded posts for different characters, just no bright colors that will burn my eyes. Basically, I don't want to have to highlight your post to be able to read it.
3. Use something to show that you are in OOC when you use it. Example – OOC:, ((rawr)), you get it.
4. Keep the ToS. And sorry, but this is pg13-almostR. If you want more, go to the PMs.
5. Title your character profile(s) ‘If You’re Happy And You Know It’.
6. No God Moding.
7. If your character is killed, then too bad. Send in another character profile form or something. But you must understand that if you fall off a cliff and land on sharp rocks your probably will die.
8. PM all the profiles to me, & I will put them in here. Unless the other forum comes up with a thread for characters relating to this rp. Obviously we will have some different characters here.
9. No flaming others unless said so by Master Arty.
10. Put ‘Clap Your Hands’ somewhere in your PM to me.
11. Basically, all of this is telling you to use common sense.
12. If you want to use a character that is a fairy or human then simply put it up in the main rp forum and pm me telling me that you wish to play them, but I still want a role-play sample.
13. I <3 you, remember that. ;D

[b]Character Age:[/b] [Make it reasonable, or if it is a vampire put something like 24/? for APPEARS/UNKNOWN]

Characters
Note- Not everyone will be accepted just because they are in this guild. I am picky & want literate roleplayers.
[[Beautiful]] l i e's Characters
Character Name: Domovoi Drearid | NOT BUTLER. XD LOLOL [note- Domo-chan was made in my first literate vampire roleplay, & since they wanted Slavic names, it pinged Hey! 'Domovoi' aka- Butler - is Slavic! Let's use that! =D So Domo-chan reiceived Butler's name due to my laziness. Plus, it's grown to fit him in an odd way, seeing that he's usually called 'Domo' 'Domo-chan' or 'Domodomo' in a cute way. xD]
Character Age: 24/? - lolol-oh-el-der-thanyouthink.
Race: Vampire
Occupation: Storeowner
Description:
Hair Color: Red/Auburn/Think of many colors of fall here Hair Length: Just below his chin Hair Style: Messy, fair Facial Hair: None, other than eyebrows Eye Color: Golden Skin Tone: Fair Build: Sleek Height: 5’10’’ Weight: 165 Distinguishing feature: None Dominate hand: Left [Weirdo] -Oh yes, he is sexy & doesn't try to hide it.
Religious: Yes
History: Years ago, Domovoi lived as a simple boy in a surprisingly small family for his time. Only one older brother, and one younger sister, he was the middle child. There was nothing quite special about him, other than the fact that he got into quite a bit of mischief. One by one though, people of the village were beginning to be found dead, and his young mind automatically went to a conclusion – vampires. His dream come true. With a smirk, the young boy, around the age of thirteen or fourteen, snuck out one night to track the vampires down…
And he was never seen since. He was presumed dead, along with the other half of the community. Mass murderers no doubt.
He had been found by a vampire, a real one, not some lowly minion, and accepted, no, asked, almost begged to become one. Yes, the reason he had left his village was not to slay the culprits of the village’s death, but to aid them. Domovoi’s plea was answered graciously, and he soon joined the ranks of the vampire race.
Oh today? He has just found his first fairy meal. And boy was it tasty.
Picture Link: Domovoi
L i e's character Julia can be found in the other main OC forum.
<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Saraii in White's Characters
Character Name: Catherine Nesbitt-Smith (Only recently, in the last fifty years or so, has she been going by ‘Cathy Miller’ to her human acquaintances.)
Character Age: 21/?
Race: Vampire
Occupation: Medical student
Description:
Hair Color: Blonde Hair Length: To her mid-back Hair Style: Always slightly wavy and messy; bangs Facial Hair: Er…none…0_o Eye Color: Brown Skin Tone: Moderately light Build: On the thinner side, but not a supermodel by any means. Height: 5’6 Weight: 144 lbs Distinguishing feature: Nothing remarkable; she blends rather well. However, she is usually seen with a book of some sort. Dominate hand: Right
Religious: Yes. It is a source of conflict for her, but she has tried her best to retain her faith.
History: Catherine was, once upon a time, a young English woman who lived on a large farm with her siblings and very religious parents. Her life was full of predictable routine and the chores common of the lower class of that time period. But life is never satisfied with predictable endings.
One night, she was coming home from a harvest festival with a small group of friends when they were attacked; three of them not managing to escape, one of which was Catherine. Her companions gave very confused reports as to what had happened, even to the point as to being unsure of whether the attacker was solitary or not. The only thing that was consistent was that they had seen at least one man among them before they had scattered, and that he had seemed to sink his teeth into at least one of the friends. The superstitious among the villagers, and probably the wisest, realized the truth – vampires.
As for Catherine, her friends never saw her again. Truthfully, she had been the only survivor – in a moment, of panic, she had chosen the half-life of a vampire over death. To this day, she abhors the killing of innocents to feed her taste for blood, but has come to accept it as necessary. However, she avoids it as much as possible by being a medical student, who has the opportunity to stay close to events such as blood drives. The disadvantage to her… ‘condition’ is that she must keep moving and finding ways to changer her records so that no one notices the suspicious fact that she doesn’t age, and that she’s been a medical student for the past one hundred and twelve years…
Picture Link: Catherine
Saraii will also be playing Opal & Holly Why yes, dear, we are going to have our dear Opal with us for this blessed adventure.

FACTS + All the organs in the vampire body are pretty-much dead, the only thing that keeping them going is the magical residue in their veins and the blood circulating through it.
+ This also means that they cannot reproduce in any way other than turning a human.
+ THAT means that there will be no halfbreed vampires.
+ I'll probably add more here later when I think of more.

"For never was a story of more woe,
[[Okay, not trying to scare anyone here! This is by no means how long you have to post. It's not even as long as I usually post. I just got a little bit...carried away. sweatdrop ]]
As the ivory cracked and the words rang out, Ramuthra stopped dead. The shimmering ripples in the air that defined its outlines quivered, first gently and then…
“Miller! Hello…?”
Catherine blinked, quickly stashing her latest book in her satchel. The Amulet of Samarkand. A very good read, and she was right at the end, too…
“Eh heh…yes, Dr. Ray?”
The man sighed and shook his head at his student’s action. As he launched into a long lecture about how she should really pay attention if she wanted to move on in her career, and that she was such a bright girl who had such potential if she would actually try instead of burying herself in these books all the time, Catherine sighed and tried her best to be attentive. It was true, she was rather smart. It was hard not to be after wandering the earth all these years. But truth be told, she would much rather be reading at the moment. Certainly, she was quick-witted yet compassionate for the patient, the traits required for someone in a medical career, but it wasn’t her goal to get beyond the student level, now was it? Her fingers itched for her book…
In truth, Catherine had always been a bit on the shy side. She wasn’t a total recluse, but she’d rather be reading a book than socializing with most people. Oh, she was definitely courteous when she did socialize, which was a bit…ironic giving the circumstances. In fact, she enjoyed company. But it always managed to make her feel guilty. After all, if need be, she wouldn’t hesitate to take their life or the life of another one of their kind. She detested the fact, but that’s what it was. Just…the natural order in action. And she couldn’t always get at the blood donations in the back room, no matter how hard she tried.
How long had she been at this particular hospital now? Three or four years, she supposed. It wouldn’t be long now until she had to move away from here. It was a pity, really. Ireland was such a beautiful place.
Ah, well. She fidgeted a bit and waited for the long-winded doctor to finish his speech. Another day, almost over with. Every now and then she caught herself longing for a way to break that endless, consuming cycle.
Oh, if only she knew…
Holly was having one of those days. You’ve had them – those days where you just want to punch something with everything you’ve got? Yeah. One of those.
Haven was buzzing with rumors, the LEP were being, once again, harassed out of their mind, and she had a panicking, overly-paranoid centaur speaking through her helmet com system.
“D’Arvit, Foaly, just calm down! Don’t just jump to conclusions. Okay, so there was a recon death. Unusual, but it’s happened before. I understand that’s it’s bad, but we got the body back underground in time. It seems like no mudmen saw it, so what’s the big deal?”
“What’s the big deal? Holly!” was the exasperated response, crystal clear in the top-notch Section Eight equipment. “The big deal is that there were bite marks on the neck! And…and all the blood was drained!”
Well. That was certainly different.
Holly tried to stop the shudder that ran through her system at that pronouncement. No use getting chills now; she had a job to do. In fact, she was on her way to the very site of the attack. It seemed interesting to her that no one had bothered to fill her in completely until she was high in the air over the Irish countryside on the way to a potentially dangerous site. Well then. She’d just have to hope for the best now, wouldn’t she?
It was interesting that all of the strange things that happened in her lifetime seemed to happen in this country. For all she knew, Artemis was already on the case. In fact, she wouldn’t be surprised if he was. It seemed to be just the sort of thing that he would get himself mixed up in. She let out an exasperated sigh. He just didn’t know when to quit, did he? Eh, it wasn’t as if she regretted their friendship, but she certainly questioned her sanity at times…and, of course, his.
She swooped low as her destination came into site, making sure she was shielded and landing in a small dip in the land nearby. Time to go to work.
“Alright, Foaly,” she quipped, preparing her sarcastic remark, “Watch my back. Wouldn’t want the vampires to get me, now would we?”
There was a certain something about chocolate truffles. Such sweet little delights, small and delicious. Perhaps it was the deliciously smooth, dark exterior, or their amazing taste. Maybe it was the soft inside that simply oozed luxury. Yes, little things, building up to a wonderful conclusion.
Opal watched the plasma screen carefully, observing the frantic LEP officers try to organize some sort of semblance of order. No full-out panic had resulted – yet. The labs were still trying to decide what exactly had killed the officer. One thing was obvious – it hadn’t been human. She found it amusing that even though the LEP possibly had the most advanced group of scientists in the entire underworld, that had been all they had been able to find out. How strange. Of course, a few little…leaks of information here and there wouldn’t hurt the overall public feel. Just a feeling of mass panic, that’s all.
For Opal was no idiot, as she constantly enjoyed reminding those around her. How else had she managed to escape custody, yet again? How else had she been able to figure out what had happened, when no one else had? And how else was she figuring just what to do about the situation?
She let a tiny giggle escape her lips as she popped another bit of heavenly chocolate into her mouth.
Yes, little bits here and there certainly did build up to something grand.
Than this of Juliet and her Romeo."

[[@Coyote - Uhm. & could I ask a favor..? Re-reading is very very helpful, as is putting in nice little apostrophes & such. ;>___>]]
FRIDAY
The day where most people would rather sit around and watch television than do any work, or perhaps go out with a group of friends, or maybe even catch a movie. Most people would plan something on a day like this, or maybe just leave it open for personal free time. And, of course, Domovoi had planned something this day with a beautiful young woman. Now all he had to do was wait just outside the restaurant for her to come. Just wait, and wait, and wait, like he had been doing for the past ten minutes. It was getting boring actually, and Domovoi hoped dearly that the woman would show up soon. She was just a tad late by now.
Suddenly, his cell phone rang, vibrating in his front pocket. He fished it out and flipped it open, putting it to his ear and listening to the female voice on the other end. After a few moments of listening, he muttered a 'have a good day' and shoved the phone right back into his pocket. His attitude was obviously soured slightly now. The man muttered a few other inaudible words before sticking his hands in his pockets and walking away.
The date was cancelled.
Domovoi absolutely hated it when a woman called last minute, or like now - late, to say that they had to cancel for some reason or another. He hated it when the cancelled at all, but he'd rather have them cancel before he was waiting outside the designated meeting place. Didn't people have any manners? Honestly.
Still grumbling, Domovoi went through a list of things to do in his head, trying to come up with something else that he could occupy himself with. In all honesty, he wasn't sure what to do now. The woman had cancelled the date, so now he had the whole day to himself.
Or maybe he could try other women...
Yes, that sounded like a good idea. It raised a smile to Domovoi's face.
<------------------------------------------------------------------------->
WHAT A BORING DAY
Was all that Julia could think to herself at the moment as she sat in a coffee shop, sipping on a cup of cappuccino. She had her laptop set out in front of her on the small round table. Her chocolate brown eyes constantly flicked from the computer screen to other people around her.
The shop was filled with a variety of people. The age went from fourteen to somewhere in the fifties, and the types went from nerds to punks. At least it wasn't too loud or anything. Everyone kept themselves respectfully reserved from others not in their group - which was a good thing considering that some people could get very touchy around people who weren't their 'type'.
She rolled her eyes. Honestly. The world was based on stereotypes. Julia didn't do anything about it though. She had accepted the fact some time ago that everyone was going to label everyone else no matter how much they spoke against it. It was human nature and that was that. You couldn't just stop human nature because it wasn't right. If you could, then there would be a perfect world.
And a boring one too. Eucgh. Julia didn't mind the world she was in today. She didn't think that she could stand a 'perfect world', it would be too prissy and fluffy. There would be no excitement. What a boring a dreary place that would be. Julia liked the world flawed, and she bet that many other people liked it that way too, once again, no matter how much they spoke against it.
After all, if the world was perfect, they wouldn't have anything to speak about.
A little beep in her headphones gained Julia's attention. Ah, she had mail from an out-of-state friend. Huh. Wonder what he wanted. Shrugging to herself, Julia turned up her music in her headphones and opened the message.
Hmm…
Wait, he wanted her help with his online school work? What the heck? Julia had thought that he was smarter than her in, well, just about everything. And he almost never asked for help with things that required a deal of brain work.
Wow. What was the world coming to?

Master Artemis Fowl Captain
|
Posted: Sat Mar 17, 2007 2:53 pm
"Master Artemis?" Butler's voice was soft and calm. Artemis had remained in bed for the past few days, as though he were ill. Ever since they had returned from South America, Artemis had been feeling weak. Butler was furious at himself for allowing such a thing to happen to his charge. Whenever Butler entred the room, Artemis would pretend to be alright. He only had a fever, and he didn't know why Butler fretted so much. His parents were out again with the twins, leaving Butler and Artemis alone for a good while. Some parents they were. Then again, Artemis was supposed to be in college now. He was nearing nineteen, or so his birth records stated. The genius was actually nearing sixteen, but a time jump with N1 had caused him to return three years after he dissapeared, mere moments for him of course.
Butler entered the room as Artemis sat upright, pretending as though he didn't have a fever of over one-hundred degrees. The young Irish boy was quite an oddity now. He had one amber eye, and one bright blue eye. This switch was yet another reminder of their work with the demons. "Should I call the doctor, Master Artemis?" He asked. Angeline and Artemis Senior would be worried if they heard Artemis was sick. They were off on some parent-child bonding trip and would be in France for a good while. Butler was left to care for Artemis, but the boy wanted to make a trip first. He had heard of a castle in South America, one rumored to have once been inhabited by The People, in days of old. However, this building proved to be nothing more than a rather gothic-looking building that didn't seem to fit in with the jungle scenery.
The locals claimed vampires had made the castle their home, but Butler and Artemis were not so easily scared off. Butler felt his senses tingling then, but Artemis pressed on. The pair explored the victorian-style home, only to find nothing there. Artemis picked up an old book and the pair returned home. Artemis soon fell ill, but despite this, he sought to read the book. Butler couldn't make out the language, it was unfamiliar to him. Artemis wanted to crack it, but it was different than gnommish, which interested him even more.
Butler sighed, snapping back to the present. He was getting strange in his old age, prone to memory trips and forgetfullness. He placed a large hand on Artemis's small forhead. The boy was burning up and his breathing was heavy. Butler also had a bad feeling about the blood-red book that sat on his laptop. "I'm making a call." He said. The doctor had been unable to figure out what he had, which left Butler to believe that The People might have a better idea on what was going on. He would need to contact their old friend Holly Short. And maybe that paranoid centuar too.
Artemis took another breath. It was like someone had placed a heavy weight on his chest. Artemis was feeling quite feverish, and his mind was in shambles. This was a tough predicament. His mind was foggy, and it reminded him of when he faced down Opal, before he recovered his lost memories. His thoughts were there, just out of reach. He looked up as Butler entered and offered the manservant a confident smile. He did not want to get rid of this old book he found in the old house. Something eerie hung about it, and he wanted to find out what it was.
When Butler mentioned calling someone, Artemis, despite his sick state, knew who it was. If this book was what he thought it was, then he was most likely the victim of a curse which was placed on the book to keep it from being stolen. A petty theif would have scummed to this curse long ago, but Artemis had allies in high, or rather, low, places, not to mention his own magic [which of course, was the only think keeping him from dying a painful death]. "Yes...I assume that Holly would be interested in-" He coughed several times, trying to catch his breath. "this..." He muttered as he coughed again. This was getting worse. He was getting more ill by the moment. "Butler...get Holly...tell her it is most urgent."
[YAY CURSED BOOKS!
EDIT: Re-read the Lost Colony, Arty jumped three years ahead. I'm going to assume he healed his parents, since they aren't in the loony bin right now. =3]

"For never was a story of more woe,
[[Sorry it took so long! School kicked my butt for the past four days. Oh, and in case anyone disagrees with something Foaly says in this post -coughliecough- just know that I just thought that it seemed like something Foaly would say.]]
Catherine’s brisk footsteps were drowned out by the sound of the evening traffic, people rushing this way and that to get home from their various occupations. She herself had owned several cars through the years, but she had found that she much preferred to walk. Sure it would be useful to have an easy transport from one place to the next, but it wasn’t as practical when you were as horrible with directions as she was. You’d think that after all of these years, she’d have gathered some semblance of talent with these things, but no. Other than a few key places, she really had no idea to get anywhere useful. At least with walking, she could go directly where she needed to, without any complicated twists.
She started singing to herself as she walked, a habit she had had from the beginning. If there was anything she liked more than reading, it was music. As she passed through a slightly-haughtier-than-usual district, she saw a flash of fall colors out of the corner of her eye. Upon closer inspection, her initial suspicion was proved correct – it was Domovoi Drearid, fellow vampire. Sort of.
Catherine performed the ritual that she had for years – looked at the person, debated greeting him or…waving or something, decided it wasn’t worth it, and pretended that she hadn’t noticed. She would probably end up looking stupid if she was just…waving. Besides, she didn’t exactly enjoy Domovoi’s company – he was certainly polite enough, but there was something…dangerous there. He also happened to be a famed ladies’ man among vampires, and even if for some insane reason he found her attractive, she wasn’t particularly interested in the awkward moments that would ensue.
Gah, there she was, overreacting again. Nothing would happen. What would he do, bite her? Heh. Bite her. That was kinda funny…in a corny sort of way…
So she passed up the chance for any information passing through the grapevine at the moment (Oh, the horror) and pretended not to notice, hoping that he wouldn’t either.
Holly gave a resigned sigh as she saw the message alert blinking on her helmet screen. It didn’t take long to prove her suspicions correct – Artemis, once again. Really, she shouldn’t have been surprised. Naturally, he was probably calling to inform her about the situation. Eh, maybe for once she could rub it in his face that she was already there. A few seconds later, however, she realized two things. The first was that it wasn’t Artemis on the line; it was Butler. The second was that there needed to be a quick – very quick - change of plans. She finished the conversation as she was high above the Irish countryside once again, pushing the investigation she had left behind her to the back of her mind.
“All right. I’m on my way,” she ended in characteristically curt fashion. Okay, so Fowl didn’t know when to stop getting involved. But that didn’t mean that she was going to let what she guessed to be a cursed book be the end of things. They were friends, after all. And anyone would be worried if their friend was suffering from a mysterious sickness - even if that friend was a stuck-up, sarcastic idiot of a genius. Although that wouldn’t seem to make sense, Holly had realized quite some time ago that it was true. Artemis really was an idiot of genius. He could predict the exact materialization site of a demon, but he couldn’t make a decent sandwich, and had felt that he had to ‘research’ the subject of friendship. It was lucky for all of them that he’d changed a bit. Although he still hadn’t got the sandwich thing down, according to Mulch’s latest report on the subject.
“Foaly, I’ll look at the attack site later.”
“Of course. Your boyfriend comes first, right?”
“…”
“…”
“Foaly?”
“Yeah?”
“Don’t ever say that again.”
Snicker snicker.
Opal was having a lovely time. What better way to spend the day than as a little girl, hiding in the bushes? Or what would be a little girl. And what would be bushes. In actuality, it was a hologram with a bit of a force field to stop people from actually going through it, complete with quite a comfortable seat for her inside. Very lifelike; her own particular brand, which would obviously make it the best. But what did you expect, Opal Koboi to hide in actual bushes?
Ew. Prickly.
So here she was, watching a very interesting man standing outside a restaurant. Why this particular man? Well…she had her reasons, and her sources. After all, Opal had an uncanny way of knowing things that seemed to be top secret. How, you may ask?
Well, too bad for you. She’s not telling.
Holly came to a stop at the entrance of Fowl manor, thanking the stars that although she wasn’t running hot, she had a good amount of magic in her. All right, if her suspicions were correct, it wouldn’t be a simple hands-on healing, but hopefully with a combination of blue sparks, more complicated field equipment, and a genius centaur in her ear she could get something done. She flew up to what she knew was Artemis’s window and knocked, hoping that someone would invite her in before…well…before. Something in her brain stopped her from thinking any further than that.
Than this of Juliet and her Romeo."
