I love this pairing! whee

Things to discuss:
Do you like the pairing Royai? Why or why not?
Should they have had more time in the movie?
Do you believe they end up together?
Was their enough hints in the manga? Anime? Have details! blaugh
Will their be a gap between them someday after all they've been though?
Will a conflict arise between them or are they like glue?

I LOVE IT. eek Such utter devotion to each other, and fluff without mushiness. And I love how they both get really upset when the other is in danger (*cough* Lust battle *cough*).

Should they have had more time in the movie?
Um, DUH! They should have played up the reunion a bit more.

Do you believe they end up together?
Totally. Everyone seems to know it already. 3nodding

Was their enough hints in the manga? Anime? Have details!
In the manga, yes:
Right after Hughes tells Roy to get a wife, Hawkeye nags him for hanging up the phone too hard, JUST AS A WIFE MIGHT.
Hawkeye has referred to her job as "babysitting the colonel", perhaps as a term of affection? xD
Riza is the one to comfort Roy when he is grieving at Maes' funeral.
The speech Riza makes about a man whom she must protect- come on, who else could it be?
Roy seemed especially angry at Barry the Chopper- I think it was jealousy because Barry had his arms around Riza.
The Elizabeth bit- I think I recall Fuery mentioning that she never talked this much. And at the moment, she was pretending to be Roy's girlfriend. She seems to be quite comfortable in that role, ne?
Hawkeye is a sensible woman, but she throws all sense out the window and believes that Lust killed Roy.
Roy yells at her for putting herself in danger later on.
Hawkeye is the only subordinate of Roy's to be placed directly under the Fuhrer, where she's still near the colonel but not quite working with him. I think Bradley's taunting him and taking advantage of his feelings for Riza.
The intense bond the two must share after the events concerning Ishbal and Riza's tattoo.
Chapter 62- "my queen"? "Elizabeth-chan was taken by another man"?
...

Do you like the pairing Royai? Why or why not? Yep. Second favorite actually (first being LingxRan). They just go so well together, and they care a heck of a lot about each other. I mean, just using manga events, Roy blew his cover simply because he thought that Riza was in danger when Gluttony was attacking that one time, and Riza had a mental breakdown when she thought Roy had been killed.
Should they have had more time in the movie? Heck yeah. They should have each had more screen time to begin with.
Do you believe they end up together? As I've said countless times, it all depends on what Hiromu Arakawa wants to do.
Was their enough hints in the manga? Anime? Have details! Well, manga I've already said... anime there was that one scene or two in episode 51...
Will their be a gap between them someday after all they've been though? Doubt it.

Do you like the pairing Royai? Why or why not? Used to, but not anymore. It's because I ran into some rather hideous fans that made my life a misery for also shipping Roy/Havoc and Havoc/Riza.
Should they have had more time in the movie? I don't think the movie ever should have existed anyway! biggrin
Do you believe they end up together? If they both survive.
Was their enough hints in the manga? Anime? Have details! Meh, I suppose so. Anime's more blatant but manga's ultimately the one where they'll actually end up as Amestris's Perons.

YES. My third favorite, my first being Hohenheim/Trisha and second being Roy/Winry. They show such dedication for each other, especially on Riza's part. If you don't catch at least some sort of affection from Riza, you're either delightfully blind or a Roy fangirl that hates Riza just because she loves Roy (Like a former friend of mine).

LOVE ROYAI!! Because it's such a passionate relationship, even if they won't admit to eachother; they're so devoted to oneanother!!!

HECK YEAH. Not nearly enough Royai time.

I dunno; I'm sort of against happy endings. I just want a moment or two between them that absolutely cements their relationship in my mind.

Uhm, there was an adequate amount of hints. Best/most obvious hint was at the end of the 51st episode, when she was feeding him apples and he was all hittin' on her, with metaphors. And feeling up her hair.

I think not; they're undeniably connected in a way that's difficult to break. If anything, I think it will bring them together.

A conflict would arise if they were like glue or not. I think there'd be a rift for a while, and then Roy would realize what he's missing and buy her flowers! :3
