100+ Post Contest! : )
Wow!
The role play is already off to a great start with a 100+ posts. You all are awesome! To reward your efforts, the mods present the first PNR contest. It's nothing special, but it's something. Entries for this contest must be sent by January 5th. The voting will end January 10th!
What's the contest?
This first contest is a writing contest! Since we're all role players here, we should all be able to write a little something.
For this contest, you have to write a short drabble that tells a story [beginning to end] in a 100 words. No more than that. It's a bit of a challenge, but the story can be about anything! Though, we encourage it to be entertaining. You don't want to bore the judges! [Only one entry per member.]
Who are the judges?
Everyone! Once all the entries are in, a poll will be put up in this thread to vote for a favorite. Whichever one wins gets the prize!
What's the prize?!
The prize is 1000 tickets. We know it's nothing special, but some people do need them. : )
Where do we send the entries?
You will PM your entries to m o d m u l e. We will then post them ANONYMOUSLY in this thread for the voting. We want to keep who writes what a secret until after the contest & voting ends. Once a winner has been announced, we will release the identity of all the writers.
HAVE FUN!
The Writers:
Entry 1: [Lillitas Innocence] Entry 2: Oreillee Entry 3: RavenJester Entry 4: Only Anteros Entry 5: tragic.hero Entry 6: Carnage Crossfire
The Winner:
Only Anteros, congrats! : )

ENTRY 1
He was meeting her again, it was against his father’s will. He was betrothed unwillingly and would not conform to a loveless marriage. A footstep caught his ear and he turned to look upon his beautiful woman. Her hair was like the purest fire that didn’t burn at his touch. Her skin was as pale as the moon that watched them above. He smiled and reached into his jacket, pulling out a dagger. “Are you ready?” He asked her smoothly. He was hers and she was his. If they could only be together in death…then so be it.

ENTRY 2
Trouble meant not going on the band trip. Alone, I had two people to talk to: a quiet guy and an intimidating giant. The day before my birthday the band was gone. The giant came to me. "What d’you want for your birthday?" "I dunno." "Tell me!" "I like Butterfingers!” The next day he had a package. Opening it, I found a package of Butterfingers! I gave the giant a hug, saying... "You gave me candy, I’ll love you forever." That moment I fell in love. And now, I am still in love with that giant, and will be forever.

ENTRY 3
There was a time that I believed fairies existed.
I learned from an old woman that fairies are mischievous beings with dragonfly wings and bell-like voices. When night came at my pa’s place, the fairies came out to play, glowing iridescently in the twilight. Night after night, I played with them, until the time came to move to the city. When I came back to my pa’s place, the fairies no longer played. Each time the sun fell, I waited for them, but they never came.
If I had learned that innocence was the key, I would have never gone.

ENTRY 4
“Truth or dare?” He asked, shaking his hair. Under the fluorescent light on Aisle 13, it looked like honey, hived on his scalp. She leaned against the blue cereal boxes behind her, tired from working.
“Truth,” She laughed. “I'm afraid of what you'd dare.”
He rolled his eyes. She leaned toward him, until her stomach lay on the cool marble. Her stomach chilled through her tacky uniform.
“Have you ever been in love?” The words plumed against his circular, chapped lips.
He was practically a stranger, but she didn't need to say anything as her fingers fell on his.

ENTRY 5
They look at the house with hungry eyes. Two orphans with empty stomachs. The smell of gingerbread wafts in the air, beckoning them closer and tempting them to just a bite. The youngest barely lays a hand on the house when the peppermint door opens, and the kind face of an old woman greets them.
“You poor little dears. You must be starving! Do come in.”
What kind of evil could lie inside a house so sweet? So they step inside, stomachs rumbling.
“Why, Gretel, who are these two?” asks another voice.
“They are our dinner guests, Hansel.”

ENTRY 6
Shadows danced across the alleyway, embracing the world in black night. The streetlight faltered, the bulb flashing for moments, then popping out with a stark flash. The world was invisible.
A dirty man lay crooked in the smallest corner of the alleyway, head in his lap. His was covered in used paper-bags, gin in hand.
He slept on as footsteps quieted the alleyway, shushing the moans of metal and bricks beneath the sound of leather soles. This creature crept towards the homeless man and kneeled, hidden in black.
“Father,” He whispered, twisting the man's neck, sinking his teeth into flesh.

Whee. Commentary. : )
I loved all the entries, but [ Lillitas Innocence ]'s & RavenJester's were my favorites. Tragic's made me laugh, because that's just the kind of thing he writes; random stuff based off other random stuff. xD
Everyone included a lot of detail, and all the drabbles were interesting! There's certainly a lot of creativity in this bunch. I hope everyone had fun doing this, and learned a little bit about the difficulties of editing. : )
