During the century's great vampire scare, the superstitions of Eastern Europe swept across the continent. The word 'vampire' was introduced into the English language, and the existence of vampires became a subject under debate. Stories and rumors of vampires turned up frequently, and whole cemeteries were desecrated to destroy the evil within. Now, science has proven the signs of vampirism wrong. However, there are some things that can't be explained.
