HOW TO PLAY THE GAME

[Sticky subject to change!]

What makes PNR so special is the fact that it has its own guild to role play in!
There's no need for one cluttered board or several boards linked together.
However, things can get a little confusing, so this role play will use a simple system to keep things organized!

Q : Where do I post?

A : You will only ever post IC in the main forum. [Any of the subforums are for OOC use only.] So, you can either post in an existing topic in the main forum or create your own.

Q : How do I create a new role play topic?

A : Click new topic & give your topic an informative title. Consider the location of the character or what they are doing/who they are interacting with. Next, fill out the following form, and post it at the top of your post.

Status: [public/private - if private, which characters are allowed?]
Setting: [Town, forest, church, etc. Be sure to try and include the time of day.]
Summary: [What does your character wish to achieve in this post?]
Time:[At what point within the roleplay does this occur?]

Your opening follows the form. Please, only create a new topic if you can't find another one to join. We don't want to spread ourselves thin.

Q : What happens when nothing can be added to the role play topic?

A : Then you [or whoever created the topic] puts [COMPLETE] at the end of the topic's title, so others know not to continue posting. For example, if your entire aim for the topic was to talk to a specific person and share some information & you've accomplished this, then your topic's purpose has been served. The topic would then be complete! However, some topics may last longer than others.

Q : Any topic making suggestions?

A : Don't be afraid to interact with only one or a few characters. Building relationships is key to a good role play, and sometimes have the entire role play cast involved can make things a bit hectic. If you'd prefer, you can always try to plot over in the OOC subforum or over PM.
