What's your favorite realistic pairing?
Ed/Winry
What makes you think that it'd work?
They're so compatible. They're already good friends and they work together well. They're both very passionate about what they do and they're both incredibly talented and smart. They're not completly similar, they both go about things differently, Ed trying to be all tough while Winry readily shows her emotions. Ed always destroys first using alchemy, while Winry heals for a living. They make a great team, both dabbling in sciences on two different sides of the spectrum. But they're similar where it counts. They're both rather stubborn, so neither of the two will walk all over the other. If Ed was with someone with less personal strength and stubborness than Winry has, he could get away with being a jerk some of the time whereas vice vers with Winry, she could get away with having everything the way she wants it. Winry and Ed will both work to keep each other in check and learn to meet each other halfway once they've matured a little more. And neither of them will ever feel smarter or stupider than the other because they are both incredibly intelligent in their own way, mechanical or alchemical.
And your favorite crack pairing?
I don't know. Barry the Chopper/Alex Louis Armstrong? xd I really haven't thought about it. I think Elricest is hot, but that's not very crack-ish... it's just pervy.

No... I could make up a crack one right now though. xd Roy is in love with Ed who's in love with Riza who wants hot lesbian sex with Winry who wants to screw Den who loves Black Hayate who's been crushing on Armstrong who secretly wants incest with his sisters who are already screwing each other but in reality all Olivier wants is to be with Hughes who was in love with his wife till the day he died but she was having an affair with Havoc who wants Fuery who love Breada who loves Falman who is secretly dating Sailor Moon. And Sailor Moon loves Roy for some reason, which forces the vicious cycle to repeat. I'm too lazy to answer the questions right now, since it might take a long time. But I will mention, related to the unrequited/love triangle pairings that I'm planning to write a fanfiction of "The Importance of Being Earnest" FMA style. I somehow made the plot work with EdWin and Royai, but then either Roy has to be related to Winry or Ed related to Riza. xp
Hmm...I think I might need a slash pairing to balance my FMA shippings out.
And ev'ry mother's child is going to spy...to see if reindeer really know how to fly

What's your favorite pairing? LingxRan Fan. Period. Although I also enjoy writing minor instances of EdWin, Royai, MaesxGracia, and BroshxRoss.
What's your favorite realistic pairing? What, LingxRan Fan isn't realistic? I think it is.
What makes you think that it'd work? Let's see... Ran is willing to give anything for Ling *including but not limited to her left arm*, and Ling doesn't appear to care what happens to him as long as Ran is safe and doesn't give anything in vain *hence the whole speech he made to Greed*.

What's your favorite pairing? Royai, even though it's a bit of a love-hate relationship. I love the pairing, but I hate that it's not me. mrgreen But seriously, Royai is love.
What's your favorite realistic pairing? Royai once again. I think it would definitely work. I'd considered what they'd be like as a couple originally because I thought they'd have interesting kids. (Yeah, I know, weird, but I was going from like two episodes of the anime.) Then, after reading the manga, I began to see that it was a very likely pairing. They can be a bit frustrating because they don't show a lot of emotion. I have a feeling they may wind up married and never really have said how they felt to each other- they just KNOW. eek
What makes you think that it'd work? sweatdrop Well, I sorta already said that. Strong bond, willingness to give up even their lives for each other, destructive little munchkins for kids. xd

I've read a few cute stories where Ed has a bit of a crush on Riza, who's currently dating Roy, and then Ed finds out. The ending was actually EdWin- Roy makes a comment that Ed shouldn't be after his girl when he already has one. (Oh the fluffy goodness. 4laugh ) Likewise with EdRoyRiza- I don't mind it when it's a onesided thing so long as it's from Ed's side.
Also, I have a favorite couple which requires much imagination because we don't know what one half of the couple looked or acted like- and that's Riza's parents. I've been wondering for so long what their relationship was like, and I think I've done a fairly accurate reconstruction, which will be used for my majorly cracked out fanfiction The Fullmetal Undead. mrgreen
