Rules and Guidelines.
These are the rules which bring order to the Turks Guild and will be strictly enforced by all personnel; if you see some causing trouble in the Guild and a Crew member has yet to notice, report immediately. All recruits must visit this page and thoroughly go through all the rules before even thinking of applying for a spot in the Guild. Follow the rules, so that our Guild may prosper.

Major Offences.

Major offences are the "two strikes, you're out" type of offences. If you commit a major offence at any time you will receive one warning. If you continue, your character will perish from the game world, and you will be removed from the guild permanently.
TOS: All TOS rules apply!
Powergaming: You have no control over another RPer's character or over any events that would that would directly and negatively affect that RPer's character.
Godmodding: You are not invincible. You do not own unbreakable armor or wield uber powerful weaponry. You are not a God, so don't attempt to make yourself one.
One-lining: There will be no "one-lining" in any of the main RP threads (however you can, if you wish, create a one-line RP in the Freeform RPing forum). Those who have yet to join must keep this as sacred law.
Chat Speak: This is a cardinal sin here. If you're just reading these rules before joining and you enjoy "chat/1337 speaking" then don't even bother filling out an application, because, quite frankly, neither I nor any of the crew will bother even reading it.
Cybering: Romantic relationships are fine, but, because TOS forbids it, there will be absolutely no "bed scenes". We have invested much time and gold into building this Guild and we do not want it taken away because you were just a little horny. I will personally get your a** removed from both the guild AND Gaia. Don't ******** around, I'm serious.
Be Active: An RP is nothing if no one is RPing, therefor this has now become a requirement. Every member must post at least once every two days, after this the member will get a warning, the next such offence will lead to banning. I understand that we all have lives to live and sometimes these lives of ours leave us little time for anything else, such as RPing, thus if you are going to be away for more than two days, then please let us know. Either post in the OOC thread, or PM a crew member and let them know.
Harassment/Discrimination: This kind of behavior will not be tolerated. Every member is equal in our Guild, and even if you hold a higher position than another member in the RP, you have no right to harass and/or discriminate the actual player.

Minor Offences.

These are more minor offenses having to do with the RP and such. I know rules are no fun but we must have them.For breaking any of the minor rules one will, at first, receive a warning which will be displayed in the OOC thread. Second strike involves a PM being sent out. The last strike will entail a suspension of the person from the Guild for three days (a temporary banning).
Respect Authority: This is a military-based RP, and if you disrespect a higher ranking officer, they have the ability to file a report, that gives Ater the green light to suspend you and he will. This also applies outside of the RP as well, if any of the crew are disrespected they can suspend you, or report you to Ater and he will suspend you.
Be respectful of others and you will be treated with respect.
No OOC in the RPing Thread: The only OOC that will be going in the RPing thread will be emergency ones that actually have something to do with the RP itself. These must stay short and be enclosed in "[[ ]]". Anything else will be deleted, and you will get a warning from a crew member, not to do it again. This goes for everyone.
Profanity: Our RP is that of a mature nature, so cursing is quite fine. However, I ask you not to go "Scarface" and begin cursing every other word, as this deteriorates the overall atmosphere. If you absolutely must curse profusely as you are acting out a particularly nasty NPC, or because your character is in an ireful state, then that is fine, but don't over do it.
Grammar/Spelling/Punctuation: No one is perfect. I (Kaz) myself have been known to make horrible spelling mistakes and misplace commas, however, this RP would stay much more enjoyable if all it's participants stayed true to the grammars of the English language. If you have awful spelling, please find yourself a spellchecking device, be it a word processor or just the Google Toolbar. This isn't so much law, as it is a request.
