There is but one restriction, the Dark Room. This is a area of the library locked away from students. Staff can access this but only with permission from the headmaster. These are the dangerous books, the ones that can cause the real trouble. Demonic scripts that are not readable by mortals. Though of course, this doesn't stop the common mischievous student to try and break in.
