One thousand years ago, Sunlight Academy's existence began. Originally, the land it was to be built upon was the only place that gods could freely walk upon The Lower World. As normally, their power was so great that taking a physical form would cause the world itself to begin crumbling. And yet, for some reason, upon this land... that simply didn't happen. No matter how much research was put into this, no answers came forth. But it did instead give an idea to The Elder Council. For too long, the people of their world didn't truly understand them. They simply revered them as all-powerful beings, which they were. But they wanted their creations to come to understand them better, instead of living with a bit of fear in their hearts. This land gave them the perfect opportunity to do so.
Within the middle of the world, The Elder Council moved this land. With their power, they created magical chains that would connect it to the other continents of this world, to allow the people to freely access it, and get to know their gods. Together, they built what would come to be known as the first creation of god and mortal; Sunlight Academy. A place of safety, where children could go to learn both about the world itself and the gods that created it, directly from those gods themselves. But despite being a place of safety under the eye of The Elder Council, it didn't truly stop danger from getting inside. Two hundred years ago, the academy was shut down when an ancient evil managed to get in and attempted to destroy everything. For the longest time, the academy sat in ruin, with the morale to rebuild it lost. That is, until ten years ago when Hollow took it into his own hands to once more revitalize the only place where he and the others could get to know their creations.
Infusing every stone, every piece of lumber used to build, and even every tile placed upon the ground with his own blood and mana, he rebuilt the entirety of the academy. Once more, children were allowed to attend the most amazing place in the world; the place where gods could walk among the same land as them. But the reopening of the academy doesn't come without the unwanted gazes of those that would see it gone once more. And now, even more areas of interest appear to have found their way inside the academy as well. An ancient library where knowledge appears ever-growing, and even an alternate dimension where life seems to flow into and from. It seems that the story of the academy appears to grow even deeper than once thought possible.
