Godslayers are just as their name would imply; those with the ability to slay the Gods themselves. Their own abilities in their "base form" are highly boosted, making them more powerful than they were before. They are also known in some regions as Devilslayers, for they have the ability to slay them, also. They are one in the same, instead of two completely separate types of people. Their title usually comes from whether they have slain more Gods or Devils in their life. In fact, to become a Godslayer is rather simple in terms of steps. There are only three steps that must be taken;

1. You must either incapacitate or slay a God/Devil yourself, delivering the concussing attacking or finishing blow. The one who has done so is the one considered to be a Godslayer, even if others had helped in the battle.

2. You must either take the soul of the now deceased God/Devil, or any part of their body (even something as small as a finger is fine) from their body/remains.

3. You must have this soul or body part forged into a weapon for yourself. Weapons are created specifically for their owners; in the hands of any other person, they are simply just normal weapons, with no spectacular abilities.

For those that are not previously a Godslayer, or are not accompanied by a Godslayer, killing a God or Devil is a monumental task, bordering impossible. While it is completely possible, it would be akin to driving up a cliff that is exactly a 89 degree angle. Not completely straight up, but not even close to being slanted enough to drive. There are few to none that have achieved this impossible task, but they do exist in the world.

Godslayers also have access to a special form, gained when they kill their first God/Devil and bathe in their blood, taking their power into their bodies. This form is fittingly named "Mors Dei Deus", or "Death of God" in English. When this form is activated, the affected undergoes the following changes;

Hair ~ Their hair begins to glow the same color as their hair (white hair glows white, brown hair glows brown, etc.) and a single streak appears in their hair, starting from the left side of their hair (at the tips), and going all the way back to the end of their hair, seemingly to slightly angle itself as it flows to align itself in the middle by the end. This streak's color depends on the color of the person's eyes (one with green eyes would have a vibrant green streak, one with blue eyes would have a vibrant blue streak, etc. [for those with heterochromia, it depends on the color of your left eye]). For those that have no hair, their head will instead glow the color of their flesh, and the streak will only reach to the nape of their neck. The width of this streak is equal in size to the width of your index, middle and ring fingers put together.

Eyes ~ Their eyes also seem to begin to glow, giving off an aura that makes it look almost like their eyes are flaming. The size of these "flames" depends on their anger at the time. The smallest of flames reach about halfway to their ear, while the largest of flames can reach as far as the back of one's head. The color of the glow and aura "flames" depends on the color of their eyes. Green eyes will have a green glow, blue eyes will have a blue glow, and those with heterochromia will have two different color glowing eyes. For those that may have no eyes, the aura will instead come out the color of their own blood.

Body ~ The Godslayer's body does not seem to undergo any noticeable changes, their skin and other such blemishes staying as they are. Although there have been a few cases where those who enter this state have "tattoos" that symbolize the Gods or Devils they have killed in the past.

Clothing ~ Their clothing will change to match that which they believe a true fighter or warrior would wear. For some Godslayers, their entire attire has changed to a knight's armor, while others seem to have taken on the attire of warrior monks. And in some cases, the clothes will not change at all. But despite what happens, their clothes will always have a slight glow to them, matching the colors of their clothing (if a shirt was white, but had blue trim, the shirt would glow white while the trim would glow blue).

Abilities ~ The abilities of a Godslayer are the most noticeable change. Their speed and strength far outperforms that of any other race, no matter what their own race may be. Meaning a Human Godslayer could easily trump a Gigant in terms of raw physical strength, or a Dragonmage in terms of magical power. This enhancement of ability is what puts them on the exact same level as a God or Devil, making them an incredible foe. Just a single meeting of fists between a Godslayer and a God could cause the surrounding area to be blown away, making it seem as if a natural disaster had just passed through.
