Starting a Quest Thread
This is the place to flesh out character ideas and to get them approved by Tendaji's staff.
Please Note: Getting a Quest Approved does not mean that your character will automatically get artwork. Artists will create art for quest characters when they have availability - you will not be able to select which artist/colorist does your art.
Please put one of the following tags somewhere in your Quest Thread's title, so that we know what stage your quest is in:
[UC] - Under Construction. Nobody other than the author should post in the thread.
[LFC] - Looking For Critiques. Anyone is welcome to read through the quest and give the author constructive criticism in order to help them flesh out and improve their idea.
[AP] - Approved. The quest has been approved by one of Tendaji's Staff members. =D Yay~ A journal will be set up for you shortly. Once you set up the journal, you may RP and participate in events to your heart’s content.
If you're having trouble starting your Quest Thread, feel free to use the following form to get your thoughts flowing. Feel free to expand and elaborate, of course:
Name: [This will vary depending on the character species; Kahikina races should be Hawaiian or Polynesian sounding; all other species:no distinctly Asian or Caucasian names please]
Race: [Are they pure-blooded or a rare mixed critter?]
Gender: [Earthlings: Male or Female, Aishans: Female only, Kahikinans: Male, Female, or Androgynous]
3 Base Traits: [The three dominant points in your character's personality. May be positive or negative, this is to help you build on your personality.]
Personality: [Expanding might help you find those three base traits. Try to keep it balanced and realistic. Have a few positive and a few negative traits.]
Description: [What do they look like? If they're mixed, which race's hair, eyes, ears, markings/crystals, eyebrows, etc. did they inherit? If they're a Shifter, will their skin be light or dark? Think practically. Do they like to keep their hair short, long, out of the way?]
Clothing: [It can be just about anything, but keep in mind the setting. Most "old world" clothing has disintegrated and is long gone. Clothes are made primarily from resources that can be gathered from plants and animals in your character's region, but wealthy or adventurous characters may have different clothing, especially at later stages.]
Accessories: [Does your character always carry something with them? What and why? Perhaps it's a practical satchel or a sentimental necklace.]
History: [They start young, but everyone has a story. This won't have much effect on your character's appearance, but it may help you start fleshing him/her out.]
