"The elves are a noble, long lived race born of the forest. Creatures of elegance and tall stature, with strikingly beautiful features, these ancient beings embrace Nature herself before that of civilization. Elves tend to be keepers of the flora and animals, holding all life precious despite the longevity of their own. A race whimsical in nature they indulge in simple joys, being strong and uplifting in aversion to daunting tasks and though may be standoffish at first, make fearsome and truly loyal allies when befriended. However like most races, these individuals can vary in shapes and sizes, even personalities."

xxxxx◦ Elves are very agile and strong-willed. Dedicated to their own agenda it is hard to sway them from a task once it's set. Elves can also move faster than an average human and can swiftly clear even the roughest of terrains.

If a Gift is chosen, a Limitation is also required; however, they need only ONE Limitation, regardless of the number of Gifts.

xxxxxxxxElves with this gift have a natural resistance to certain types of magic or enchantment. Some are resistant to sleep poisons, while others can be resistant to hexes or curses
xxxxx◦Night Lights:
xxxxxxxxElves with the Night Lights trait have an increased ability to see in dark areas or low light. This trait gives them the natural ability to see others better in the dark, as well as objects, people, and animals. When in a darkened space, they have a better perception of the space around them, even with their eyes closed. No, that does not mean you will be able to know there is a book on the floor ten feet away if you are blindfolded.

xxxxxxxxElves with this gift are very good hunters. Tracking, trapping, killing, and preparing animals is second nature to them. They find determining their prey by footprints to be easy when others might not know a deer print from an elk print

xxxxxxxxElves born with this gift have a natural affinity for the natural world. This ability gives them a skill for nature and nurturing. Plants grow beautifully in their care as these Elves have a very prevalent green thumb. Children, as well, take to them easily as they exude a welcoming and pleasant aura.
xxxxx◦Blessing of the Beasts:
xxxxxxxxElves with this gift are born with a natural charm over animals. This gives them the ability to seek out guides for help in certain situations. Animals can be used to seek out a person so long as a personal belonging with their scent can be provided. The personal belonging must have been touched within the last two days prior to the search. An animal can be called upon to perform small tasks such as digging holes or reaching into small spaces a normal sized Elf cannot get into. Animals cannot be used as a defense wall.

xxxxxxxxIt is said that all life is magic and that there are none who revere and celebrate life as much as the Elves. Within some, they feel that magic within and around them in ways that are both intrinsic and visceral. Elves with this gift are natural spellcasters
Limitations

xxxxxxxxAn Elf has a great perception of all that is around them. Even the emotions of others, cripplingly so. Elves with this limitation are highly susceptible to the sentimental atmosphere around them.
xxxxx◦Vanity:
xxxxxxxxElves tend to be self-absorbed and pompous. This can get them into a lot of trouble as they value themselves more than others. These Elves tend to be impulsive and when it comes to something they think is right, it is hard to deter them from it even if it is ultimately wrong.
xxxxx◦Thirst for Knowledge:
xxxxxxxxElves are wise and knowledgeable; some however, have a thirst for knowledge that can even interrupt their daily lives. Elves with this limitation will do anything to learn something new or discover something no one has ever seen before. They are distracted by books and information, and hold the utmost respect for scholars like themselves. It can be a heavy distraction at times for them to try and hold a conversation while something besides it peaks their interest.

xxxxxxxxElves are not physically as strong as other races and can be very fragile in body. Blunt trauma can break bones and even serious falls or collisions can cause damage.
xxxxx◦Carefree:
xxxxxxxxElves often develop a nature that is so carefree and lighthearted, they sometimes cannot take situations as seriously as needed or act with much sincerity when called for. This tends to aggravate the people around them.
