 Skye FoxOne of the first to burst into the air, lucky her. In spite of being worried of getting air sick, she'd handled being on air craft very well, aside from being slightly concerned that it was a massive Grimm, or something just as bad. However, Skye giggled a little as she was bounced into the air, spreading her arms to spin like a top, risking a glance backward before closing her eyes and flying through the air. Honey eyes sparkled as they opened again, Blitz Thorns extending into their bone-like blade form, ripping across the treetops to get as far as possible. She didn't really need a teammate, did she? After tracking so many Grimm in her own wood, there was little doubt that stalking after a much more massive beast would be much of a challenge. Sniffing the air, she ran her blades into a giant tree, hopping from branch to branch swiftly to the ground. There were already a few trees that had been completely crushed by whatever the students-to-be were tracking. This would be fun.

Sienna grabbed a high branch during her decent and eased herself down to a lower branch. She looked through Snider's scope, seeing if she could get her eyes on anything threatening. Sure enough, there were a pair of Ursa about fifty yards away, as well as a pack of beowolves even further away. She surveyed her surroundings and smiled. Sienna had a good perch up in this tall tree and excellent sight lines, to boot. She'd wait for another student to engage the Grimm and assist as needed. Having an eye in the sky was an invaluable asset on the battlefield, and the role of a sniper was one for defense and protection, and she vowed to herself that her and Sublime Snider would do that.
"I won't let anyone get hurt today." She patted the stock of her laser rifle as she propped the gun on her knee and waited. She could already hear some other students flying through the air near her, waiting to touch down in the Emerald Forest. She'd wish them luck, but being a guardian angel was better than luck, wasn't it?

Skye FoxSpotting the Ursa's, her lips curved up, feeling a slight burning sensation on her skin. She suddenly disappeared, reappearing running up one of the large Grimms' backs, slicing it's head off. The girl back-flipped off and onto the other, hearing the satisfying thud of the fallen's head, slashing at the other. It wasn't too long before the ambushed pair of Ursa were dead and gone, but not before the second let out a howl, causing her to stab it again. Usually she'd be significantly more careful, but she was exhilarated by the chase, and saw the oversized bears as little more than an obstacle to jump on her way. Sure enough, the pack of beowulves were quick to surround her. Skye shrugged, raising her arms, "Tough crowd today, huh? Seen any giant Gr--woah!" One of the younger ones leaped at her. The dodge she performed seemed impossibly close as she stuck it's stomach, letting its speed and mass run through before taking her blade out again, taking on the pack. A larger one came at the blond from behind as she slashed away at another that was staying alive longer than the average one would hold.

Sienna watched in amazement at the blonde girl fighting the pack of beowolves. She thought to intervene during the ursa fight but the girl literally tore through them. It was astonishing, really. It made Sienna a tad jealous, knowing that her close quarters combat paled in comparison to this huntress, but, there was always the numbers game when it came to CQC. The blonde huntress had downed a couple of beowolves but one was closing in on her blind spot. Sienna held her breath, lined up her shot, and fired.
A red beam lanced across the sky, piercing the beowolf in the back and exiting through its chest. Sienna held on the trigger for an extra half second just to be sure her target was down, doing so kept the beam active. This resulted in the beowolf sliding down, effectively cleaving it in two from the chest up.
"Good. I guessed the power output correctly. I won't need an extended burst at this range..." Sienna took aim again, this time at a pair of beowolves on the outskirts of the skirmish. She fired twice in one second, connecting with a head shot and an upper torso wound that was sure to be fatal. She swept back to the main fight where the blonde was still brawling, just in time to make a tricky shot; hitting the beowolf in the body would surely have over penetrated and hit the huntress, so Sienna opted to shoot the beast's raised claw in mid swing. She heard it howl, now short a hand.
OOC: DAMMIT...I edited the previous post and forgot to copy it and back out so I posted THIS post and lost the previous one...BAH. I'll try and recreate it. gonk

Skye FoxYellow hair flashed as the girl turned around, watching the beowulf fall in halves in astonishment. It was only a moment before she returned to combat, every swing just missing. She took it upon herself to slice up the beast of Grimm now down a claw, but not before the other claw protruded from the young huntress-in-training's back, the beast grunting in satisfaction.

"No, no, no..."
Sienna swore as she jumped down from her tree. The other huntress had gotten careless. What was she thinking taking on that many Grimm at once? And now she had a claw through her back. Sienna didn't have a shot from her perch. She's have to get up close and personal. Fortunately there weren't many beowolves left. She cleared the distance to the fight within a few seconds. Slinging her rifle over her shoulder, she initiated Sublime Snider's secondary function, causing the butt of the gun to detach itself into an impressive tomahawk.
She cracked open the back of a beowolf's skull with her melee weapon, not slowing while it fell in a heap. The next one turned just in time to see its vision split in two, part of its head sliced off. The last beowolf, the one with its head in the other huntress' back, tried to yank out its claw before Sienna's attack hit. It failed. Sienna brought down the tomahawk and activated the heat sink behind the blade, causing ice dust to exude from the business end of the weapon. She sliced off the beowolf's remaining hand, freezing it in the process. She hoped freezing it would keep the huntress' wound from opening up...she hoped. The beowolf, now armless, looked around at its fallen kin with a pathetic whimper. Sienna looked at the injured student.
"Are you up to killing it or should I?"

Skye FoxSkye just stood there as the newcomer arrived. That girl meant business, and she didn't want to get in the way. Coming to her senses as she was spoken to, her right arm went back like someone pitching a javelin, and she drove her bladed fist straight into its face, it's paw sliding straight through her. But there was no hole, no wound. "S-sorry about that, didn't mean to freak you out." she spun and landed an impressive kick on it's chest, making it fall flat. She looked to the woman with the braided hair in the eyes, very worried that she'd frightened this person.

Of course, Sienna thought. That must be her semblance. It was the only explanation. After all, most people keeled over if they were run through by a beowolf. She shook the nervous look off her face and reconfigured her rifle.
"I thought you were a kebob while looking through my scope. It really freaked me out. Helluva job taking down all those Grimm. I gotta admit, you're good in close quarters, but if not for that semblance of yours..." Sienna trailed off. She didn't like seeing people get hurt, especially when she was providing backup, even when she didn't know the person she was helping. She felt responsible for all those under her gaze.
"I'm Sienna. So, what with your semblance, anyway? Can you phase? Leave after images? I'm really curious." Sienna crossed her arms over her chest, anticipating a reply.

Lucina was the third to be launched into the air from the cliffs. She flew elegantly, using her glyphs to help her land safely. Once she was at a safe distance from the ground, Lucina let herself fall before somersaulting to soften impact and quickly standing up. She dusted herself off, clearing away the dirt from rolling on the ground. No matter what she wanted to look presentable.
The ivory haired girl then proceeded to start walking, trying to find either the Grimm with the relic or teammates. Unfortunately for her, directions was not her thing. So, she continuously wandered around, walking through bushes, circling around trees but she somehow always ended up back where she had landed. She let out a groan, removing Blazefire from its sheath that hung from her waist, putting it in blade mode and putting a large slash mark on a nearby tree to release a bit of her anger. She hated being lost. Sighing heavily, she returned her trusted weapon to its holder before deciding to walk backwards rather than forwards in hopes of finding something or someone.

Skye FoxShe laughed a little nervously, blades retracting to arm guards as she scratched the back of her head. "Weeeellllll, I'm not really used to people seeing me in action. Sometimes I like to play pranks on the soulless, let them think they hit me, and see their confusion when they didn't." How embarrassing. She took a deep breath, tattoos flickering back to black as the remains started to dissipate. "Thank you for the help, and your concern. This is kind of my home turf, being in the woods. It's where I honed, well, what you saw. The short answer is yes, I can phase. The long answer is, well...quite the story." she blinked, realizing that she'd forgotten something. "Hello, Sienna. I'm Skye!" she beamed brilliantly, even though it was only a small smile. Finally, someone who acknowledged her existence at this school. Ozpin was great, but a peer was better.

Skylar Cross Skylar being the fourth and final one to be launched into the forest was excited to finally be able to start her first mission with her new team. She soared through the sky not nervous at all and pulled out her chain scythes as she neared the tree tops. Once she got close enough to one of the trees trunk she sunk one of her blades into it and twirled down the tree. Her blade cutting threw the tree with ease. When she reached the ground she dislodged her blade and did a front roll before running off into the trees. After awhile of running through the trees looking for either her teammates or Grimm she saw a tree with a slice mark in it. It was too clean of a cut to be grimm so she figured it was from a blade. She slowed her run and scanned the area for anyone. Her gaze rested upon a girl with very light blonde hair that was almost white pulled back into two pigtails. She quickly made her way towards her putting away her weapon in the process. "Hello! Are you apart of team Fallback?" she asked smiling at the taller girl

"Well, I can't say I approve of 'playing pranks' in combat...I did someething similar once, that is to say, I was having fun instead of paying attention. Well, old news." Sienna looked up just in time to notice Skye's tattoos. She thought they were beautiful, especially the way they glowed. She thought whether to keep this opinion to herself. It'd be kinda weird to tell a girl she just met that she was beautiful. Still...
"So...your tattoos are pretty cool. I've never seen ones that light up like that. Kind of reminds me of dust..." Sienna was desperately hoping that she wasn't blushing.
OOC: OMFG, PEOPLE!!! This is the first RP in this guild I've been apart of a WHOLE FOUR PERSON TEAM since December! And I just realized...its an all female team! xd

I've just done that since I was able to say Grimm instead of--" in her most adorable imitation of herself as a little girl, "--gwimm!" she tapped the dirt with one of her feet, scuffing an already well-worn boot with a little soil, looking down for a few moments. If having a good conversation was swimming, she was pretty sure that she was drowning right now. She blushed slightly, perking up at the mention of her tattoos. "Ah, these? Yes, I doubt you'd find many people willing to get something as extreme as these. My mentor helped me out when I needed it, but they're elf-applied for the most part, and they are, in fact, dust imbued. It took awhile to combine the right stuff into this, but it's worth it most of the time..." the other times mostly being when she or someone really close experienced a particularly strong emotion. She smiled at the girl with the coppery hair, much more relaxed with that topic. Some guy who hit on her called her a painted flower, for her beauty mixed with her exotic tattoos. OoC: Muahaha! Girls rule the world!

Sienna felt at ease. This girl seemed to be very open and cheerful to boot, plus she didn't bite Sienna's head off at the mention of taking it easy and being serious while on mission. Most would be hunters she met had an air of arrogance about them that meant they couldn't take criticism. She was glad Skye wasn't like them.
"So...changing the subject, why don't we get to know each other better? You showed me your ability, so I'll show you mine." Sienna took a deep breath, and within a few seconds, had become as black as a shadow; she was a silhouette.
"I can absorb all sources of light around me to where I am pitch black. This is very handy for sniping, especially at night. During the day I can be seen if I'm being looked for but against a dark surface I'm practically invisible." Sienna deactivated her aura and reappeared.
"Phasing is amazing, but is there anything else you can do? My semblance is kind of invasive and I would only use it in an emergency or with your permission. Wanna try me?"
