Bio: Athena was born and grew up on the peaceful Kin Island, part of the Sevii Archipelago (aka three Island). Her father worked for the International Police, while her mother worked as an assistant for Nurse Joy at the town’s Pokemon Center.
On her tenth birthday, she was given a shiny Totodile as her first pokemon. Shortly afterwards, she caught a feisty Shinx, then later on rescued a baby Hoothoot that had lost its mother. By the time she turned eleven, the neighborhood she lived in was becoming worse and worse. Gangs were popping up everywhere, and all the fun stuff related to gangs began to worsen. Sometime near the beginning of it all, her older brother, Kodak, was killed violently by one of the gangs for being a member of the International Police. Soon after that, because of their father’s position near the top of the INP, the same gang loaded up their family’s car with explosives, making it seem as if they had been killed “accidentally” in a bad car crash. Athena was the only one to survive the explosion, and when asked how, she claims it is because her Hoothoot created a force-field around her, thus saving the two of them. However… the real-reason might have something to do with the stitches sewed into the palms of her hands.
After her family’s burial, she decided to change her identity. As a result, she changed her name (to this day, her birth-name remains anonymous) to Athena, obtained green colored contacts, cut her hair short, and died her hair black. Not much else is known about her.

However, she never reveals the full details of what her life has been like, or what’s happened in it, and no one (except her husand, Damian Lyon) knows anything about her life except these seven things:
-She teaches Extreme Training at the Academy.
-Third degree black belt in mixed Martial Arts.
-Works for the International Police.
-Married to Damian Lyon.
-Has a six year old daughter named Tabitha Lyon.
-Is one of the wealthiest woman in the world, due to her various jobs and investments, making her a multi-billionare.
-And is the last of the Elite Four.

Eventually, they came across one that they couldn’t refuse. On Athena’s tenth birthday, her parent’s gave her a Shiny, Female, Totodile for her starter Pokémon, with a beautiful Dive Ball to keep it in. To this day, her Feraligatr remains to be her strongest Pokémon ever, and her most loved. Received as her First Pokémon on her Tenth Birthday.

Obtained: For many weeks, there had been a strange Pokémon eating and stealing the fruits and other goods from the local Market stalls. The local authority’s tried to capture the elusive Pokémon, of which they really didn’t know what it was, but with no luck. Eventually, Athena decided maybe it would be worth a shot to try and battle it with her new Totodile, and set out to find it. Later that day, she spotted it munching on a trap she’d set out for it; ordering her Totodile to battle it. Defeating the Shinx, Athena caught it with a pokeball she thought was most fighting for it, a Premier Ball, because it was rare and special just like the pokeball. Caught at the age of Ten.

Other: For some reason, Luxray’s electrical build-up will become so powerful and hazardous –mainly to his own safety-, that every day before going to bed and after waking up, he has to discharge nearly all of his internal electricity. If not, his body will explode from the inside. Literally.
Part of this excess electricity is usually used to charge Athena's odd-lot gadgets.

Bio: Tamaki was born and raised in Hearthrome City, where he grew up loving pokemon with a passion, as well as Pokemon Contests! Not leading the most exciting of lives really, he chose to become an intern at the day-care in Solaceon Town, where he became quite knowledgeable on pokemon breeding. Later, he became a contest coordinator in the Sinnoh region and the Hoenn region, where he won many ribbons with his five lovely Pokemon. He participated in several Grand Festivals in both regions, placing in all of them, but only won one of them. Personality: Reserved, independent, untrusting, and ambitious.

Bio: Growing up, Gianna never really had a fabulous relationship with her parents. And, by that, she means she didn’t even know them. All her life she was put through foster home after foster home, none of them lasting for more than a few months. As a result of all these “family” changes and jumping from foster family to foster family, she learned not to get attached to anyone for too long. She seldom made any friends, and she quickly learned to be self-dependant. Her trust in others is incredibly slim, never allowing herself to put too much faith in somebody before they made her regret it. When she turned ten years old she happened to be with a couple in Unova, where they took her to obtain her very first Pokémon: an adorable little Oshawott that she named Umi. It took awhile for Gianna to get used to having a companion to talk to, but after awhile the cute little otter grew on her and they became the best of friends. When once again she moved to live with yet another foster family, she stayed in Unova, moving to Opelucid City, where she obtained another companion: a Deino. This new Pokémon was mistrustful of her at first, just like she herself was with other humans, but eventually they begun to grow on eachother as well, and eventually she decided to name her Fluffy.
As she moved from region to region, getting placed in foster home after foster home, Gianna gained four more companions that she has grown to love and treasure as her one and only real family. After a particularly bad foster home that she was given to for a few months, she finally just up and ran away, no longer wishing to be forced to live with strangers all her life. For the past couple of months now, she and her Pokémon companions have been managing on their own better than they ever did under the “care” of her different foster families; Gianna has no intentions of ever going back, or letting herself get caught by Social Services.
Though she is somewhat unaware of this fact, due to her always changing schools and whatnot, Gianna is a total genius. Because of this, she often treats others like total idiots –or just simply inferior to herself- when they don’t understand something “simple” right away, unable to comprehend the idea that not everybody learns as quickly and as easily as she does. Sometime between the ages of seven and twelve, she taught herself Spanish, French, and German by watching cartoons in those respective languages. On another note, purple is a frequently reoccurring color in her wardrobe.

Personality: A totally flamboyant, energetic, gregarious, and charming young man, Vern is often seen socializing with others, and few don’t like him. He’s known to bottle up his emotions, choosing to not let others know what’s really going on inside, but is all and all a very kind-hearted individual. Many perceive him as being “cute and adorable” and he feels no shame in using this to his advantage~

Bio: Originally born in Lacunosa, Unova, to Daniel and Naomi Keliikoa. His father was of Swedish descent and his mother of Japanese, making him a halfer, though it’s incredibly difficult to tell because of his predominately oriental features. His parents were lovers of pokemon; unfortunately they did not always get along with eachother. Not long after being born, the three of them moved to southern California, where his father got a job as a police officer, and his mother as a High School Physics teacher. For the next few years of his life, he grew up in America, always in frequent contact with his relatives in Japan and visiting them every summer. His trips to visit his mother’s side of the family taught him to speak Japanese at a fairly young age, and being bilingual (with something other than Spanish!) was certainly something he enjoyed rubbing in the faces of his peers.
At ten years old, the beginning of the fifth grade, his mother –with the support of her family of course!- finally had enough of her husband and filed a divorce. The rest of the year was rough on Vern, having to deal with the arguments and fights between his parents, all the while having to deal with the growing concerns over his own sexuality –something that he didn’t want to voice aloud-, so it was needless to say… A very hard year for him. The final year of elementary school now over with, his mother having gained custody of Vern permanately, they moved to Japan where Naomi’s family offered to let them live. Ever since then, Vern and his mother have lived in Tokyo; the young man growing up amongst his loving relatives and mother. At about the age of eleven or twelve-ish, he was finally able to come out about his homosexuality to his family; the fact that everyone still loved him regardless was certainly a nice surprise, and he continued to be the pride of his family. In middle school he was a member of the school track team for all three years and had a perfect academic record. Come High School, he was in all pre-AP/AP classes that he could fit into his schedule, two years ahead in math (he thanked his Asianloving mother for that one!), a member of the drama team, part of the Advanced Men’s Choir, and constantly maintaining the highest GPA at his High School. Come graduation, he graduated as Valedictorian with a full scholarship for his higher education. Wanting to get away and live somewhere else –not that he didn’t love Japan and his family!-, Vern chose to move back to Unova where he currently goes to school four days (Monday through Thursday) a week at Castelia University. He’s trying to get a dual major in Music Theory and Musicology. Fortunately, many of the AP courses that he took in High School count towards his College GPA, so if he’s lucky, he’ll be able to graduate school earlier and relieve himself of that burden.
Vern’s schedule is very busy, going both to school and being the guitarist for a local band, he seems to have very little free-time. When he’s not attending class –which he made sure that his classes always ended on Thursday!-, doing homework, or with his band-mates for something, you can probably find him using up what little spare time he has relaxing at the local gay bar. He doesn’t mind being hit on by other guys, infact, he’s gotten used to it and has a tendency to use his “cute and adorable” charms to his advantage. On another note, when he has the time and is in a region with them going on–generally over the summer!- he enjoys to participate in Pokemon Contests and is not much a battler. He also greatly enjoys the eye-candy that his bestfriend, Iris “Clueless”’s older brother, Naoki, serves as in the band.

However, she is still very nice; she doesn't trust to many outside of her teammates and a few select trainers -mainly, Vern and a few of his friends.
