Bio: Jason was born to the Nomad Tribes, a group of people who traveled the world all the time. He has a loving mother and father, a pair of cousins that he loves dearly, and a great family from the Nomads. He was never exactly sheltered from the world though, since they were always travelling around in it.
When Jason was younger he had problems telling the difference between a lot of languages, especially the romance-based ones, and since his Tribe spoke a Greek-Latin creole amongst each other that made the transition especially difficult for a young mind trying to learn to speak. Of course, like all the Tribes members, he eventually got over his confusion, but he does not understand how others can find similar languages to be at all difficult to learn. As children the Tribe members were taught Chinese from a very early age, so that way when coming into contact with Orientals they would be able to communicate with them. Because of his upbringing, Jason fluently speaks most European languages, southeast Asian, and Russian. His skills in other academics? Please, there’s a reason he doesn’t want to become a scientist. He’s lucky enough that he can perform basic mathematical skills, just barely enough to get by in life. History? Oh good Arceus, don’t make him laugh! History was so boring! School in of itself was rather boring, outside of linguistics.
Yeah sure, Jason’s a nice guy, a really likeable one even! But nobody is perfect, and Jason often skipped out on his non-language classes to go get into mischief with the local kids. Sometimes they were the right crowd, sometimes they weren’t. Oh well. Everyone makes mistakes, right? He can hot-wire a car, pick a lock, and even isn’t a half-bad thief! But! He’s a good kid! His time with all different crowds has taught him a lot about life, good and bad, and he hopes to take those experiences with him into adulthood. After his Coming-of-Age Ceremony only a few months ago -making him a man by Tribe standards!-, Jason has decided to set out on his own adventure.
He hopes to someday put his linguistic skills to good use and become a translator (Books, Anime), an International Communications person, or really just anything that puts his skills to great use. But for now, who knows what awaits Jason on his journey?
